Not-so-grand opening!

As you walk through the miscellaneous stores that line the
streets of the French courter like sores on a prostitutes lush
and rosy lips, you almost walk past a dirty building, but
something nags at your attention. Something you can not quite
put your finger on. Standing two stories tall with the upper
story windows boarded up, it would seem uninviting if it did not
have the same rustic appeal all the voodoo and hoodoo shops have
in this area.
On the inside of the shop the scent of lavender and sandalwood
infiltrates your senses. The downstairs area breaks off into two
sections the front of the store, and the back. The front of the
store has many plush couches and lamps engendering a cozy vibe.
The back has dozens upon dozens of book shelves all lit by a
blue hue that sparkles down upon the books from cheap Christmas
lights hung above them.
Separating the two areas is a counter where a ruffled hair
college aged kid sits. If you approach him, you do not need
heightened senses to tell he smells of the hemp, although it is
strongly masked by the incense burning heavily from the counter
he rests his elbows on. No matter how many times you come in he
always has a mixture of “New Age” books, seemingly old Hebrew
texts with weird circles in on the pages, and stacks of “Magic
the Gathering” cards spread across the table.
Under the mess you can find a stack of business cards. (see
attached)
Across from the counter is a staircase leading up to the second
floor with a "restricted" sign laced across the walkway.
