Sparrow and Lloyd ascend through the maze of rooms and bustling
people until they reach a lonely looking door. Sparrow removes a
simple key from his pocket, unlocks the door, and steps through.
On the other side of the door is an old wooden set of stairs.
There are no decorations anywhere - not even wallpaper. Bare
wood is all that can bee seen until one ascends the stairs.
Sparrow ensures the door is locked behind the two of them, and
they proceed up the stairs. there are rows of boxes and
miscellaneous things, and at the end of them stands a simple
wooden table and two simple wooden chairs. There lies a single
closed book on the table. Sparrow sits in one of the chairs and
       slides the book aside.
"There shouldn't be anyone able to listen in on us, even with
heightened hearing. Sit, and speak freely."

"Thank you. I do appreciate this. You don't realize how much
someone like myself values security. So... tell me about
yourself. How have things been going for you kindred?" Lloyd
       takes a seat.

Sparrow laughs incredulously. "Come now. Did we really come all
the way up here to talk about me and mine? Or are you asking
about the general status of all the kindred in town? Because
frankly, I don't keep tabs on other kindred. I leave most alone,
and they leave me alone." Sparrow pulls out a flask, takes a
sip, and puts it back. "Perhaps there's something more serious
       we should be discussing, yes?"

Sparrow cocks an eyebrow. "I want to know what this is. Are you
trying to make a friend? Are you attempting to investigate my
affairs? Are you seeking to make a profit? What?"

Lloyd gives a slight smile before laughing hysterically. After a
       few seconds, he settles down.
"Honestly, are there no kindred who would sit down to have an
honest conversation with these days! Well, to tell you the
truth, rumor has it that you have been in New Orleans for quite
some time. As such, I believe it to be the best that I pursue a
partnership, or at least gain a mutual respect, for one with
such knowledge and ability as yourself."

Sparrow looks most displeased at the hysterical laughing. "If
you only intended to get to know me, it did not necessitate
coming to such private quarters. If there is some sort of
arrangement you want to make, however, then make your offer.
Everything about my affairs is made public, save the anonymous
donations made, so you should already know everything there is
to know about the reformation center." Sparrow raises an
eyebrow. "Unless, that is, you didn't do your homework, which
       your kind normally do."

"And he we go, more of this "as my kind" business. Why is it
that the sins of the father should be past down to his sons? I
find it outright offensive that I am always stereotyped as being
a "power hungry, conniving, slithering, manipulative tyrant" for
what those who have preceded me have committed. The reason that
I have to go through such extremes to speak to other kindred is
exactly because of attitudes like that. But I digress, seeing as
this is your domain and I wish to respect that. The reason we
are up here is because no matter how much research I put into it
I am not able to exactly pinpoint what kind of kindred you are.
Nor am I able to realize the clans of a select few of the
kindred in this city. My reason for wanting... no... needing to
know is because I simply wish to attempt and unify us kindred
into a collective group, such as you have done here. Each clan
represents a necessary piece to the large puzzle that is
prosperity for our kind. Within each piece are the kindred who
will help make this vision whole. Tell me, would it not be
fantastic for kindred to finally be unified in a collective
goal? That is to say helping other kindred and themselves to
better our society and kind as a whole."

"And here we are at last, the meat of the conversation. We will
start with the first remark: the reason you are compared to your
kind. Every kindred chooses to sire for a reason. You were
chosen by your sire, meaning your sire saw something in you that
would make a good child and a good Ventrue. This is the case for
all kindred. As for you second remark..."
Sparrow pulls a flask out of his pocket, takes a sip, and puts
it back. He leans in close. "As for what I am... I have been
called many things. My favorite, perhaps, is Trader of Tattoos.
If you feel threatened by this fact, feel free to run off
terrified into the night. Do not feel free to make an attempt at
my life. You will fail, and I will be cross. I would also prefer
if you keep it to yourself, as it can otherwise bring
unnecessary trouble to this house. Now, to your last remark..."
Sparrow goes back into his pocket and takes a good swig out of
his flask. "I don't care much for other kindred. I have little
need of them. I take care of those who come to me seeking help.
I have 'unified' those in need of aid. No kindred have fit that
description as of yet. If you have a plan for unification, leave
me and mine out of it."
