       Paying a Visit

Lloyd walks down the street at a casual pace whistling a jaunty
tune when he comes to the door of the Reformation Center. Upon
entering, looks around to see the would be homeless with a
slight, almost forced, smile. While waiting, Lloyd flips a dime
in his palm as he looks around for someone in particular.

Sparrow rounds a corner, the polite smile on his face morphing
into a frown as the visitor comes into sight. Pale skin, those
clothes, and that smell. He's obviously a- "Ventrue. What are
you doing in my place of business?"

"I'm assuming that you are the proprietor of this place? You
might remember me when I was human. I believed, and still do
believe, that this place is one that is truly grand in its
visions and executions of those visions. As such, I use to help
fund this when I was a human politician. Lloyd Pyrrus ring a
       bell by chance?"

"Or Lord Pyrrus, as you were commonly referred to. I remember
you now. Your hospitality was most appreciated. I hope it got
you the political backing you needed." Sparrow smiled slyly as
       he made that last remark.
"So, is there anything you need? I can't imagine you needing
help from a place like this. Perhaps you came to help?"

"Actually I came here with the intentions of seeing how the
place has been doing. I'm quite pleased to see that all the
funds that this place gets are put to good use. Also, I'd prefer
you keep the "Lord" title for me to yourself please. I was and
always will be a servant to the people and I am no better than
anyone. With that aside, is there anything in the future that I
could do to help this place further?"

Sparrow pauses for a moment and inhales deeply. "Well, if you
still want to be of use, you can send anyone who needs help my
way. In case you have forgotten, I offer a free bed for up to
three nights' stay for anyone passing through. Other than that,
I am willing and able to rehabilitate any abuser of any drug,
provided they are willing to commit. I also help homeless people
get back on their feet. Anyone who partakes in the program shall
receive help in getting a job nearby. So, if you know any
homeless folks or drug abusers, or if you can offer jobs to
those who need them desperately, please let me know. Obviously,
any donations to help keep the place running and/or improve the
       place would be much appreciated."
Sparrow sighs. "You have no idea how many times I've had to
       recite that."

       Lloyd lifts an eyebrow.
"I take it that those you give that to are the benefactors, at
least potential ones. I'm guessing that these people also never
really help afterward very much do they?"

"There aren't benefactors, exactly. Anyone who thinks they can
help, much like yourself, gets to hear my little 'speech.' And
quite the contrary; those who leave here reformed choose to
return the hospitality. They're part of the reason the place is
still running. Some become very successful and donate now and
then. Others come back to help other less fortunate people. It's
much easier to understand one's plight when you yourself have
been there before. This place is built by brothers helping
brothers. I just make sure everything continues to run, and that
       the program isn't disrupted."
Sparrow smiles a satisfied smile. "This house is filled with
nothing but people trying to get better and helping each other
do so. There really isn't room for anyone else." You can hear a
strong sense of pride in his voice.

"Well I will definitely say that your organization has made a
great difference in the community. How do you do such
extraordinary things in such a short time period?"

He smiles. "I provide a unique environment I have yet to see
anywhere else. I have some staff, sure, but everyone here helps
everyone else. It's that constant positive environment and
encouragement from everyone around them that helps my people
grow the fastest. Think of it like a plant. Sure, it may grow in
dirt, but fertilizer provides the nutrients necessary for the
plant to develop much quicker. That, and I make sure to remedy
       any negative elements quickly."
