Marcus takes another sip of his drink looking at man who just
entered.
"Joey I take it? Ms. Sarah has told me a few things about you.
Its nice to finally meet you in person."
He takes another sip of his blood and takes out his phone to see
what time it is and then his puts it in his back pocket again.
" Well I guess ill just start now."
He places the newspaper in his hand on the table for everyone to
see. The front page article about a housekeeper at the Royal
Crown hotel being murdered. The cause of death being she was
drained of almost all of her blood.
" I take it you guys know about this correct?"

Joey shakes Marcus' hand, and heads into the refurbished kitchen
to help Absinthe. "I don't know what song that was, Ab, but it
sounded awesome. Did you write that one up yourself?"
Meanwhile, in the other room Sarah looks intently at the
article, "I've been out of the news for a little while..What is
this? How could someone be so careless?"
"Who is careless", asks Jessika as she comes through the front
door.
"Some imbecile drained a hotel housekeeper dry and didn't think
to hide the body", Sarah explains, causing Jessika to curse in
German and come over to look at the paper.
"Vhat kind of idiot vould do that?"

Marcus takes another sip of his drink finishing it off. He holds
up the glass to Sarah.
"Do you mind if I have another one Ms.Sarah? Blood type doesn't
matter. Clans like the Brujah and the Gangrel embrace and leave
their childe to fend for themselves. Look at it as tough love.
Its to see if the childe has what it takes, but the sire would
make sure nothing like this happens. After this story went
public chances are some random hunter or hunters are on the way
if not already here to figure out whats going on. "

"Oh, of course", Sarah gets up and heads to the kitchen looking
a bit distraught, meanwhile Jessika starts pacing.
"If dis idiot starts bringing in hunters, ve're going to have
bigger problems on our hands dan just a rogue
fledgling..Vait...", she stops mid-thought and turns to Marcus,
"..A guy came into the bar a few nights ago ewho vas claiming
dat the past veek vas a blur. That he had been out vid some girl
and next thing he knew he voke up in a hotel room vid a blank
slate!" She stares into space for a moment, "F*ck... vhat vas
his name? Joey!"
Joseph, who had been talking to Sarah about the situation, pokes
his head out of the room as Sarah takes the blood to Marcus,
"Yeah?"
"Vhat vas the name of dat guy vid all the questions on Friday
night?"
Joey thinks a moment, "I think he said his name was Louis, but I
don't recall catching a last name."

Absinthe wanders out form the music room and listens in on their
conversation for a moment. "What do you mean--rogue fledgling?"
She asks, her hand against the wall. She follows the sound of
Jessika's voice.

Before Marcus could finishes his sentence his back pocket starts
to vibrate.
"hold that thought"
Marcus reaches into his back pocket and looks at the caller ID
to see who it is. The name on the caller ID says Freddy. Marcus
answers the phone and beings to have a quick conversation in
Korean. About three minutes go by and he hangs up his phone and
sits it down on the table. Marcus just sits there not saying a
word. He has a zoned out look on his face and is lost in his
thoughts.

Jessika notices Absinthe and holds out her hand to help lead the
girl over. Joey, meanwhile, positions himself behind the two,
unconsciously taking a protective stance.
"Ve have a new vampire out there who doesn't know vhat he's
doing", Jessika explains to Absinthe, "I think it vould be a
good idea to find him and set him straight before he gets
himself killed or calls down a hellfire of hunters on this
city."
"Jess, can you find out what the Nos are saying about this?
Maybe they have some insider info, such as where Louis is
staying?"
"Jah, I'll see what I can do."
Sarah meanwhile sits near Marcus with a concerned look on her
face, "What is it Marcus?

He hears his name being called and snaps out of his trance like
state.
"Oh nothing. An old friend of mine from New York. I asked him to
look into something for me and he was just calling me back.
Anyways back on task. Personally and this is just my opinion I
say we find the persons sire. I mean think about it. How do we
know the sire is going to go out and do this again. For all we
know the sire could be doing this just for the hell of it and
may do this same thing all over again and again and again?'

Sarah's brow creases with disapproval, "That sounds like Sabbat
mentality to me, and isn't this a neutral area? That would mean
that they are working outside of their territory and
jurisdiction, which makes this the Prince's business, not ours",
she turns to include the others, Our job is to keep ourselves
safe from any repercussions of these events and to keep an eye
out for this Louis gentleman. We watch out for our own, we
protect our havens, and we keep our people safe." She redirects
herself to Marcus, We do not go out on crusades against a Sire
that may not even be in this area anymore.

" I understand what you mean, but sometimes the Sabbat have the
right idea Ms. Sarah. From at I have seen and this is just my
opinion I would much rather see the knife coming like the Sabbat
do to their own rather then getting stabbed in the back like the

He takes another sip of his drink.
"Okay then you say we should try and keep an eye out of for
this Louis character. Are you saying we should actively go look
for this guy or just wait till we come across him?"
