Sarah gets up with a smile, "You are horrible at this game,
Marcus", she laughs, "You're losing your touch!" She prances to
the door and opens it with a brilliant smile, recognizing the
aura signature on the other side. Her open arms encircle her
daughter in a warm embrace, and she kisses her sweetly.

"Hey Mama! How are you doing? Has Mama Jess and Jo got here yet?
I haven't seen him in forever and ever and ever!" Absinthe
enters, babbling as usual. She seems unusually perky this
evening.

"I'm much better now that my beautiful songbird is here", Sarah
replies merrily. "Joey hasn't shown up yet, and Jessika is down
stairs; she should be up soon." She takes her hand and leads her
to the sofa across from Marcus, explaining, "I had hoped you
would be one of the first to arrive, darling. I got new
furniture that I wanted to show you." With that images and
locations appear in Absinthe's mind's eye, "I thought I should
update things a bit since styles have changed a bit in the past
eighty years", she laughs again. Situating her daughter at the
sofa, she asks brightly, "You remember Marcus, don't you, love?"

"Marcusmarcusmarcus...Oh yeah! The one with the deep lusty
voice!" Absinthe laughs. "How ya' doin'?" She grins. "Hey mama,
you got a drink? I can't have anything at the bar again." She
looks mildly distracted as she twiddles her thumbs.

"Awesomeawesome!" Absinthe takes a sip of the glass. She bounces
slightly in her seat. "So have you heard anything from Jo-jo? He
hasn't called me or anything, except this morning to ask if I
wanted to come jam with him and mama jess!"

Sarah tucks a strand of loose hair behind Absinthe's ear, "No I
haven't. He usually just talks to Mama Jess. While the man
doesn't hold me in disdain, I don't think he quite holds me on
the same ground of respect as he does with her."

Absinthe nods, still vibrating. After a while, a beat can be
discerned from her movements. "D-D-Do-Do-Do you think the
session'll go well today? Do you think he'll let me record this
time?"
