Spread the word - open/closed forum

I have an suggestion:
Let's bring this forum into life! Or try at least.
There is a group in Facebook named Markiplier's heroes with
PLENTY of active memebers. I think anyone here with fb account
should join that group and try to get people here from there.
(not like we would be "robbing" the members: just trying to get
people interested and to get them to use both) Make your own
post, or try to find other posts about this forum and make it
popular by commenting it. Because one problem with the fb group
(and the reason I would like this forum more) is that there is
so many new posts every day it's hard to keep on track on
everything. It's not only the amount of the posts, but the way
how fb works too: It is impossible to follow every interesting
post there. Here it would be so much easier and more organised.
Having enough people here is the only way to make this forum
lively. And no-one likes to hang here if this wasn't lively. (I
don't either. I'm here really just trying my best to make people
register, visit and write here more.)
Another suggestion:
This forum should be as secure as possible, since people might
post sensitive stuff about themselves: Rules would be readable
for anyone, but only the registered members would be able to see
any other stuff. Or even better: only the ones who have
introduced themselves would be able to see other posts.

You are naturally always allowed to spread the word about this
forum, word to mouth is the best way to make things grow and get
recognized. I am unfamiliar with the rules of that particular
group, but as long as it will not be considered spam, I can only
encourage it.
This forum sprung out of exactly my annoyance with Facebook's
setup, it just doesn't work for highly active groups. Same posts
constantly, etc. It's just a pure mess.
The forum will remain open however, it is preferable to be able
to see what a place is, before you decide to join. Closed forum
generally generate less members, and it would only make a fake
sense of security as anyone could still make a fake account,
screenshots, etc.

I like the suggestion. In my forum experience, I made a paid
forum site named as "warmerisehelp.com" which Is down by now due
to copyright issues. According to the forum rules, you are free
to spread your forum in any part of social media unless you
don't spam and someone don't report on you. Try googling the
official way of expanding your forum which clearly states that
you are not bound to share your forum in any other social media.
So go ahead, I assure no issue with that. Good luck
