I'm The Derb!
I work. I love to cook. I cuss. I LAUGH ... A lot. Mostly at my
Minions. We watch Mark. Often.
I love Mark because of the Livestream he did for Children's
Miracle Network, because my youngest has spent a lot of time at
our local Children's Hospital. Many families with medical needs
can't afford their copays - or have no insurance at all- and to
give their children proper medical care can be a daily struggle.
Providing for a child with medical needs is really hard on your
own; I'm blessed to have insurance and a job yet I still
struggle to give him the care he needs. This charity event
helped take the burden off so many other hard-struck families!
Some people do events like that once a year; Mark does it -what,
once a month? And he wants to bring us together, as a family, so
we can do good in this world however we can.
I'm here because I want us to not only be able to share all Mark
Related fun, but also lean on each other as needed. Seems the FB
page is getting pretty poopy about the family side of our group.
Makes me sad, but I'll still remain a part of that group too!
Oh, and he's adorable. I want to cook for him, to say thanks.

Hi, for lack of other names, Derb! xD
Welcome to the place! It's real quiet, but hopefully the few
members we do have can bring some action into the fold, we'll
have to wait and see on that, I suppose.
I hope your kid will go ahead and get better, it's so sad to
think about how healthcare isn't just a right in such a
developed country! Should be high on the list to keep your
nation's people good and well. I'm glad you're able to do at
least something yourself, and hopefully it'll only get easier as
time goes by!
Thank you for joining this little place, and I'm sure Mark would
enjoy a properly cooked meal now that he lives away!
Also don't apologize for blathering, we encourage that here! ;)
