The time for onboarding is also to train the new employee so
that they can fulfill their demands in the way the company
expects. Lower turnover Also called turnover, employee turnover
is bad for the company because you spent time and money training
someone to leave a few months later. Then you have to start the
process over again from scratch. Well-structured onboarding
makes people want to stay. As happened with this company that
managed to reduce the turnover rate from to in six months. Okay,
you already know why it’s important and the benefits of
onboarding. But how long does the integration of newcomers last?
       How long does onboarding last.
This is the type of question for which there is no ready answer,
simply because it will depend on factors such as market niche
and type of company. For example, when onboarding a healthcare
organization, you need to understand the disposal Phone Number

of toxic materials. In a technology or
marketing company , this process does not exist. To be more
complete and truly be considered onboarding, the ideal is for
this process to last for the duration of an employee's
experience, normally months. If it only lasts a day or a week,
it’s more of a company presentation than onboarding. But one
thing is a fact: the sooner you start, the better.

Say this based on our experience here at the company. When the
HR department begins onboarding in the first two days, the
employee feels welcomed right away, begins training knowing
better about the company's context and becomes more comfortable
moving around the office. If, for some reason, this period
extends and HR takes two weeks to acclimatize new arrivals, they
are likely to get lost, which tends to affect productivity and
the desire to stay at the company. And remember what I already
said, the better the onboarding, the greater the chances of that
talent staying at your company for years: of new talents decide
whether to stay at the company within the first six months.
