I said "lol" only 2, maybe 3, times. I don't use "ur". I also
have not been using "Lol" constantly. It's difficult to listen
to someone who you feel has insulted you. You have very good
ideas and you have very good advice, but I feel like you are
ignoring what I am saying and jumping to the conclusion, "Oh, he
must be this type of person."
I'm going to continue working on my ideas, not because you
recommend it, but because I don't like you. Now instead of
saying "lol" I'm going to say that I find this situation a
little funny. I want to beat you with my story and show you what
I "profile" into. I'll show you that my story will be pure and
exciting. I'm still busy with college and work, but I'm going to
try to write down everything I have and make a new chapter. Then
you can take a look and tell me what you think, but for now I
need to play around with more/new ideas.

Lol sorry, I did delete it all. I want to make a story that
feels epic. Just so you know, Johny, that doesn't mean I plan to
have every moment be intense and epic. Lol (I hope my Lols
bother you). I would like to have moments where the characters
are just living their lives too. I want to make a story that has
an impact on people (Johny, don't you dare tell me that I'm
naive or some ****) I chuckled IRL (Because LOL means I'm trying
to be passive).

Thank you, I'll use docs to organize my themes and ideas. And
I'll post my chapters here. I just thought the commenting and
recommendation features in docs is really neat and useful.

it feels like a video game what you are describing. But you are
also being very vague.
A story has to have a purpose. It doesn't have to really teach
us something completely new but it does have to share a
perspective. I think a lot of times making stories feel "epic"
is a bad thing. The idea of an epic story means creating a story
that is vast and open. The problem with these type of stories is
that they end up being so vast they lose logic and reason or
don't define them properly. Or it loses it's purpose.
So I recommend starting off with something simple and slowly
adding onto it.

Okay. Thank you. Do you think I should start with something
else, or should I make a different, smaller, story that's in the
world I want to make?

make sure your world is easy to work with the laws (of physics)
and logic. Don't push too many obscure ideas. Something that
readers can easily grasp.
And then once you do, see if a smaller story can fit into your
world and also if there's potential for it to grow, add more.
And if you see new ideas changing the story slowly, keep it in
the back burner until it feels obvious the change needs to
happen. Some people will keep writing a story with the same
goals even though the story evolved.

Geez... I find you very insulting. I'm not saying "lol" to
appease you or whatever it is you think i'm trying to advertise.
I say it whenever I find something funny. [/quote]
Too late to get to this , but this needs some addressing ...
Critiques in general (more in-depth feedbacks may also be
included) are treated as formal conversation & like any normal
conversation , both party are supposed to engaged with each
other in a well-behaved , serious & neutral manner (and for this
situation , proper grammar if possible) .
Lol , or 'Laugh out Loud' for those who are stuck in the ninties
pretty much says it all . The kind of 'energy' it gives off
though differs between different types of conversation . In a
casual conversation , 'lol' may work as you intended it to be ,
the same can't be said for formal conversations ...
If you're an Average Joe , do you randomly put a Gringe-like
smirk , snort or laugh whenever you're discussing a major topic
along with esteemed peers who're engaging it to heart ?
If you're a freshmen model who is at the client's company
looking for a job along with other models of equal or higher
caliber than you are & when the client is being serious during
his/her speech/lecture (laying down rules , T&C & debriefings) ,
do you roll your eyes , chuckle and/or talk in the middle
randomly in the middle of it , right in front of your potential
client's face ?
Even for comedians whose job is to invoke laughter among his/her
audiences , when it comes to anything that are deemed 'formal'
in terms of conversation (like above) , they keep it away unless
they're asked for one and/or after it ended because common sense
tells them that if the sender is giving off messages that are
deemed so , you're to take it & reply back as so - something the
majority of the internet users don't seem to get it , attitudes
& egos aside .
Sure , there are people who do initiate a formal conversation in
a loose manner but what the unwary don't realize is that despite
it being in a lighter mood , most of the time you'll only see
smiles & on some occasions , a brief laugh & that it doesn't
happen throughout then entire conversation . What's for sure is
that it doesn't go full 'hipster' like "Lol ;D , I don't
entirely agree with your T&C , but thank you for offering me
this assignment :D ! Lmao ;D ! I'm f***ing pumped ! Hahahaha !
:) :) :) ;D ;D ;D" ... okay , let's say you lost it at that
moment . All you can do to fix that is an apology & gaining back
your composure , not ... you know .
If anything , it's best to keep casual speeches out of formal
conversation , preferably entirely . In such conversation , we
expect both ends to behave & converse in such manner .

I recommend working on one story and making it simple and have
distinct rules if it's in a fantasy setting. Rules we will see
from chapter 1 and onward.
