Interesting. Two questions: 1) how long did it take to draw the
jewel? 2)how old is the art?

Those gemstones look so pretty. It speaks to my creative side
for some reason.
As for the digital art, how old are they?

Your latest artwork of Tara is definitely better, although how i
feel about the character overall is a different story.

Isome of your work doesn't show up for me yet. Probably due to
slow internet. Ill give my impression once I see them.

I love what you do with colored pencil! It plays really well
with the light. It's interesting to me how you use the white of
your paper to help bring some of that light out.
My only advice would be to perhaps try increasing the contrast
by starting lightly with a contrasting color and then building
your darks over that. For example, if you want to draw something
red, start with lightly using green in the darkest areas, and
then a dark red over it. It will create a darker shadow as well
as contrast by bringing out the natural depth of red through
brown.

I love how you color. It looks like a real painting sometimes.
Very neat stuff. I also get a sailor moon tingly feel. Good
work!

Slowly but surely.

Your eyes are low.. That never happens.

This is an issue for a while where you generalized manga to have
low and puffy cheeks. You originally gave your characters an
appearance of toddlers. You haven't posted much since.
I recommend looking at manga such as Akumetsu and Gantz (the
later chapters).
If you're going for a sense of realism, and a more mature style
than definitely make the facial proportions right (and make sure
the face is also proportioned to their body. No toddler face,
adolescent bodies)

Generalized? I knew there were other styles, but I chose to draw
that style. Incidentally, I don't draw much these days.

Yes but you don't have a good grasp. You're mixing a very broad
common interpretation of Manga style and it just doesn't work
all the way.
If you want to aim for a mature and closer look, then you have
to get the proportions closer to reality. I agree the eyes are
way too low and digging into the cheeks. If maybe a more
simplistic design, I might not say much.
But you've always had this overly chili design.
