Hi!

My user name is DBNext. Maybe one or two of you will recognize
me from Mangaraiders, and for those who don't, hi. I was a
member over on that forum for nearly 5 years now, but I haven't
been active in the slightest.
How did I find this forum, you may ask? It's kind of a long
story XD
Roughly 2 or so years ago, I was sent a message by Lorenx, or
Lumaria, as she's currently known. Nice to see you again, by the
way. I look forward to re-reading your story and hopefully
sharing in some critiques. Anyway, I wasn't active when I
received the message, and when I did, it was pretty late. The
message only mentioned the goal of creating a new forum, and
even though I was interested, I didn't have any leads. Fast
forward a couple years later and I randomly stumbled upon this
place.
I'm an aspiring, amateur manga artist and writer and I am
excited to share my stories and drawn comics with all of you;
some are old and shared previously on Mangaraiders, while others
are completely new and never before seen by anyone other than
myself.
Anyway, I guess I mumbled on a lot more than I had planned. I
realize that this forum is still small, but there's always a
start to everything. I will be posting and participating soon,
maybe in the next couple days, but for now, I just wanted to say
hi. So, hi!

Hey welcome! Glad you're joining us. We get dead every now and
then too but you're guaranteed a review for sure here. I haven't
seen a single story. Maybe because of its size. But the more
content the more people.
Can't wait to read or see your work.

Awesome. I'll be thoroughly going through this place and getting
to know the various members, starting tomorrow hopefully. For
now and from what little I've seen, I've got to say that I
really like the look of the forum. Purple on black is a nice
color choice, so props to whoever designed it.

Welcome to Manga Mavericks. I'm happy you like the Skin.
It was originally White and blue but I chose black background so
that font colors could stick out. But was inspired by Lumarias
color choice when she posted one of her stories and liked the
colors she was using.
EDIT:So far no one has complained about the skin. I still
atte.pting to add multiple skin options for people to choose. I
hope you enjoy your time here. We have passionate people. We are
still small but still passionate.

hopefully. And as you said, passion is what's important.
@変態: Thanks, I'll be sharing pretty soon. In fact
I think I'll create a thread right now and post a more recent
drawing. (By more recent, I mean one I just finished XD)

Wow, I'm late. Nice to see some activity around here. I had
almost dropped out of here due to the tumbleweeds, cobwebs, and
dust. I think my gallery might be screwed thanks to PhotoBucket,
but I may post some things again eventually.
(And yes, I'm from the "other side" as well, although I'm not
sure why some of the members here seem to pussyfoot around it.
Every place has its problems, and MR is no exception.)

I've had issues with my galleries being screwed as well, on MR.
I think I used to upload on FB back then, but now I've switched
to Imgur and Deviantart, so hopefully my images will last
longer.

Yeah, I recently had to switch to IMGUR as well. Third-party
hosting can be such a hassle, but then again, retaining data for
a site would be much more difficult with a direct attachment
system. It's a struggle.
