HTML code support ?
By: guest4 Date: December 12, 2016, 6:50 am

When I made this thread
HTML http://mangamavericks.createaforum.com/personal-art-library/'my-personal-list-of-pixiv-artists-i-followed'-megathread-(56kbps-beware!)/<br
/>initially I had plans to use the codes given by the site , but
this site do not accept them .
To be honest , I don't feel comfortable on building up the
thread any further without any means to actually use links
directly from the art site itself (DeviantArt too uses HTML
codes) . It feels somewhat ... wrong , having to re-upload them
here .
Are there any means of including the use of HTML codes for this
site ?

Incidentally, I just tried an <a href> tag a while ago...
I would like an html code support.
Making tables is nice (:

Yeah , that's what I like about HTML . Websites in general are
made up of HTML codes , so it comes to no surprise that when it
comes to what can you do with it , you can do a lot more than
the simplified BBCode (not that I don't like it) , provided you
know how .
My knowledge on HTML is limited to personal use , image and site
linking , quoting , font change , etc. . But I don't dabble with
actually re-designing profiles and posts made - it's difficult
for me . Which is why I had no problems with BBCode . But when
it comes to flashy , complex stuffs , BBCode seems to not 'like'
it , but HTML do .
There was one site which allows the use of HTML code to a
certain extent for forum posts , not just limited to profile
customization . People say that it's risky (security problems)
to have it used on posts , but from my experience there , there
hadn't been a problem so far , except for broken profile page ,
which were entirely isolated from the forum itself .
---------
EDIT : Here's why I decided to put up this suggestion . This is
the HTML code provided by Pixiv :
[spoiler][code]<script
src="
HTML http://source.pixiv.net/source/embed.js"<br
/>data-id="58097934_21168dadb916848963eec7f8b3bddd5d"
data-size="large" data-border="on" charset="utf-8"></script>
<noscript>
<p>
<a
href="
HTML http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=58097934"<br
/>target="_blank">浴衣エレン</a> b
y
<a href="
HTML http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=56688"<br
/>target="_blank">moruga9</a> on
<a href="
HTML http://www.pixiv.net/"
target="_blank">pixiv</a>
</p>
</noscript>[/code][/spoiler]
Now , if it works , it'll look like it's shown on preview in
here
HTML http://www.odditysoftware.com/page-webtools15.htm
(Paste it in
there , it's the only one that has preview mode that works for
me) .

Couldn't even see what's inside the "wonky" spoiler tag XD
Don't worry, it's just because of my screen resolution but
still... it's a weird spoiler tag.

It's okay , it's just a embed link provided by Pixiv itself . If
you go to any illustration , you'll find them at the bottom
right of the illustration . They have the BBCode , but I don't
think people in general are attracted by "Links only" ...

this is also one of the first things i wanted to do. i will look
into a way. there are other things that should allow me to
change or add but for some reason it is not allowing me to do
so. its very aggravating.

I think it has to do with this forum is under Createaforum . I
believe the only way that you can do all of the changes is to
liberate this site from their grasp .

It's going to take a while. I'm actually working on getting a
more secure email.
