Setting:Fictional world, not too different but definitely not
modern. This world has have different time set (only 21 hours
within a day but each hour is 30 minutes longer than our time),
a smaller sun and a larger moon. the main town is based off of
Italy and Spain while the alternate town is based of st. Basils
cathedral in moscow russia.
The clock is set by Daylight, Twilight, and Midnight hours.
Twilight hours are just 2 hours between daylight and midnight.

Noche Carlevaro is a very intelligent 17 year old boy taking
care of his handicapped mother and his baby sister at a bakery.
Silver-blonde hair and deep blue eyes is a rarity in this world
making the woman see him as a very handsome boy (in easier
terms: women act like cougars around him). Knowing full well
he's attractive, uses it to promote his bakery. He's hardly
interested in anyone except for a young woman named Lucia. He
searches for brotherhood more than romance despite the fact that
he loves Lucia.
Lucia Silva is a 21 year old woman, pure black short hair and
grey eyes, her emotions are subtle but leave deep impact on men,
she cares for Noche and doesnt get hypnotized by his appearance.
However she has a dark secret in which is related to Noche's mom
never approving of her.
Krema is a lunatic (a moon being in this series). Has the
appearance of a 24-year-old woman but her age is unknown. Stale
black hair, and turqoise eyes, She is emotionless and has no
memories of her past. Only cares about the task at hand and is
socially awkward among humans. In combat she is an expert and
well versed, able to turn anything into a weapon. She formed a
contract with Noche. Her true powers are unlocked during a
fullmoon. Her appearance would change to bright brown and her
eyes give off a glow. Her weapon is a scythe in which due to her
contract has Noche's name engraved on it.
Sebastian Aiza is an 18 year old boy. Brown hair slicked back,
green eyes and a small beard, He is Noche's best friend. When
Noche is around him, his dark demeanor disapears and becomes
more light and enjoyable. Unlike Noche he has strong interest in
women and often joins Noche to be with the other woman first.
Despite this, he has a strong yet casual loyalty to Noche.
Plot: Every year, the town celebrates Walpurgis Night, a night
in which a sage known as Walpurga sealed away most of the
Earthbounds. During this celebration, Noche accidentally forms a
contract with a Lunatic, a being from the moon sworn to slay
earthbound remnants. every full moon to see if hes worthy of
becoming the next Darklord. The first to slay 100 becomes a
candidate. Whether he wants to or not he is forced to
participate in this contest known as The Amber Moon trials.
Notes: Originally titled "Darklord's Romance" and had demons
instead of lunatics. Criticism over demons was over done despite
demon being a distinct species in the story. The differences are
minor. The only reason why I didnt name them lunatics was
because I wanted the moon features to be a major reveal.
Ive added a large amount of characters. Originally, focused on
just "handsome" characters, but for beauty to be more apparent I
needed to add average to ugly characters.
another strong point is that this was originally meant to be a
josei manga, so some realistic dark features were in the
original design. Unfortunately, I have to keep my work at a
strictly PG13 basis on this forum. So I turned this into a more
shonen/seinen approach. Most of the elements remained the same,
the only difference is I had to adjust the characters.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
there is a reason why the titles are color-coded (and if you're
happen to be color blind there is additional help)

Massive changes could be made. If you read this version, you
will get confused by the final product.

depending on review. I suggest you read this version only if you
want to help out in the development process. other than that, I
suggest you wait so you don't have to read it a second time.

CHAPTER I (part 1)

[spoiler=CHAPTER I (part 1)]
SCENE HEADING: Unknown city
A mysterious castle with large unique onion domes (resembling
St. Basil's Cathedral

and man are fleeing the castle with bottles filled with an
unknown liquid. They make their way into the city and quickly
turn in an alley where they get surrounded by knights.
The woman and man draw their swords from their backs but the
knights quickly draw out their unique fantasy-themed rifles. The
commander of the Knights steps forward toward the two and
smiles.
DIALOGUE:
Commander: Execute them.
ACTION:
A bullet was fired (off-screen) and birds fly away from the
scene.
SCENE: Second Town
A different town with a huge heavily-designed Clock tower and a
gigantic moon in the horizon. the townspeople are shown enjoying
a festival with and decorating a sign with the words "Welcome to
Orologio Cobalto" in an old-fashion font.
ACTION:
A boy with silver hair is sweeping at a bakery outside with
groups of women staring from inside the bakery. The bakery has a
sign saying "Dolce Celeste" in Classic Caps

DIALOGUE:
Boy:Hey! Noche!!
Noche: Oh hey, Sebastian. My shift is almost over. Hope you
don't mind waiting.
Noche's narrative: I'm Noche Carlevaro. 17 years old. Working at
my mom's bakery, "Dolce Celeste". I've work here at my family's
Pastry shop for a while.
Sebastian: That's ok. I'll just sit by and enjoy your company.
Noche's narrative: Sebastian Aiza, one of my best friends.
Always near by.
ACTION:
Sebastian leans on his chair, putting his feet on the table with
a mischievous expression.
DIALOGUE:
Sebastian: Hey Noche, why aren't the girls here with us? Don't
they come to see you?
Noche: Ah, i see. So you came to see the girls today.
ACTION:
Sebastian is looking through the window while talking to Noche.
Noche continues to sweep facing the other way.
Sebastian: what can I say? Its not my fault you have women
coming around your shop
Noche: You know i'm not really fond of them. I told them that i
prefer they stay inside so i don't get them dirty as i swept.
ACTION:
Noche looks at the girls and gives a faint and convincing smile
and waves at them. The girls wave back with more enthusiasm.
Sebastian gives off a slightly serious annoyed look at him.
Sebastian: And yet you give off an act. You know what i think? I
think you really like them and all of this is one big ru- Whoa!
Noche, its her! The girl with the red hair is back!
Noche: Yes, yes, I saw. My mom noticed her too. Shes been in the
shop all afternoon reading her novel. I guess she's becoming a
regular. I just hope she doesn't become a groupie like the
others.
ACTION:
Sebastian is putting his hands in a begging position. With an
expression on his face showing slight desperation.
Sebastian: Noche, you know I've been wanting to date her for a
while. Can you help me out this time? The Walpurgis Night
festival is happening tonight and i don't have anyone to go
with!
Noche: Didn't you have plans with another girl? What was her
name...?
Sebastian: Ala was her name. And she dumped me! She caught on
quick i had no intention of introducing you to her. Come on
Noche, be a brother here and help me out.
ACTION:
Noche shakes his head and sighs.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: give me a minute.
SCENE:
Noche walks into the bakery as Sebastian makes a small leap for
joy in the background with his fist clenched. Girls give a small
smile while they stare at him with glowing eyes.
DIALOGUE:
Group of girls: Hi Noche~
Noche: Hello ladies, I see your enjoying my mother's pastries.
ACTION:
Noche turns to the corner of the store where he sees the red
haired girl wearing glasses and reading a book. The girl notices
as well and gets flustered.
Noche: Excuse me. Would you mind telling me your name?
Red haired girl: My name is Alexis Rubio. It's nice to finally
talk to you Noche.
Noche: Would you like to go with my best brother to a date? He's
sitting outside.
ACTION:
Noche points to him outside as he bows to her. Alexis looks and
her smile lessens. Noche is showing faint irritated expression.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: please give me an answer, I rather not spend
too much time with you all.
Alexis: So long as i can spend time with you. I'd be happy to.
ACTION:
Alexis leaves the bakery with Sebastian while he turns back and
gives off a big smile of gratitude toward Noche. Noche sighs in
relief as he closes his eyes.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Glad that's over...
ACTION:
The girls sneak up on Noche from behind and surprise him.
Girl1: So Noche, who are you going to go with for the Walpurgis
Night festival? If you don't have a date, I could accompany you.
Girl2: Don't you have a fiance?
Girl1: What harm would one night of infidelity do?
Girl3: Forget about her, Noche. I don't even have a boyfriend. I
could be your date.
Girl2: There's a reason why she doesn't have a boyfriend.
Girl3: Hey! Don't you want to be my maid of honor!?
Noche's thoughts: ughh....They don't even know me. Just stop
asking me already.
ACTION:
One of the girls grabs Noche's arm.
DIALOGUE:
Girl3: Come on Noche! You would even be able to spend the night
with me. I promise you'll have a good time.
ACTION:
Noche's eyes widen and he steps away from her. Noche begins to
breathe heavy and shows a bit of sweat. The girls notice his
distress.
DIALOGUE:
Girl2: See? You freaked him out. He doesn't want to date you.
Girl3: That's not true...Noche did i frighten you? It wasn't me,
right?
Noche's mom: Enough girls, remember you're only allowed to have
one date with him per year...*whispers* plus additional costs as
well.
Noche's thoughts: damn it mother...
Girl1: oh that's too bad, I already spent my yearly date months
ago.
Girl2 & 3: same here...
Noche's thoughts: what? When was this??? Wait...did my mom
somehow trick these girls into thinking they were on dates with
me?
ACTION:
Noche remembers back to the times he had one-on-one moments with
these girls doing menial errands. Noche notices his mom showing
a shining glow of greed in her eyes, giving Noche shivers.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: I need to step out a bit.
ACTION:
Noche walks out Dolce Celeste and starts to pant heavier and
sweat. He leans on the wall near an alley.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's Narrative: Ok....i admit, I have a serious problem when
it comes to women...
???: Noche? You ok?
ACTION:
Noche turns around and sees a Woman with short, black hair, pale
eyes, with a few freckles on her nose. Her facial expressions
are subtle.
Noche: Oh...Lucia...it's you.
Noche's narrative: Lucia Silva. She's 4 years older than me. And
one of the few women i feel comfortable with.
Lucia: Is today one of your bad days? You didn't stop taking
your medication have you?
Noche: No, no...i'm good. Just had a moment was all...what
brings you here?
Lucia: I came to get my mom's favorite..
Noche: Oh right....Strawberries and cream. Let me get them for
you.
Lucia: No its fine. We can wait for a bit. Besides, you need a
friend right now.
Noche: Thanks...
ACTION:
A couple of boys look at Lucia as they pass by her. Noche
notices but Lucia is staring at Noche.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's narrative: I consider Lucia one of the most beautiful
girls in this town. But the greatest feature about her is that
she genuinely doesn't notice the attention she gets. I wish i
was more like her...Its one of the many reasons why I've fallen
for her
ACTION:
Lucia flicks Noche on the side of the head. Noche flinches.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What was that for?
Lucia: You're spacing out again. I was beginning to think you
had a stroke.
Noche: Liar.
ACTION:
Noche and Lucia laugh together.
SCENE:
Hidden Alley.
ACTION:
Two hooded figures come out of these dark portals. One is female
and the other is male.
DIALOGUE:
Female: We've finally arrived.
Male: Yes indeed. This will be most entertaining adventure yet!
Think of the fun we'll have in the festival!
Female: Focus on our mission.
Male: I am. I have a plan on how we can use the festival to our
advantage, but you'll have to trust me.
Female: Very well. Tell me what your plan is.
Male: Didn't I say to trust me? You'll find out soon enough.
Follow me, this will be a joyous surprise for you.
Female: I don't like surprises, but I'll just have to wait and
see.
Male: Good. Meet up with me here in 3 hours. Make sure to find
your potential candidate.
Female: I will.
ACTION:
The Male hooded figure walks out toward the end of the alley.
The female hooded figure looks at the end of the alley and sees
Noche and Lucia sitting at the side of Dolce Celeste pastry shop
and laughing together.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: So i saw Sebastian with a big smile on his face and a
girl. Did you happen to be involved?
Noche: Yeah....he been eyeing her for a while. I asked her if he
could go on a date with him at Walpurgis Night festival and she
agreed.
Lucia: Typical Noche, always doing everything for Sebastian. Why
doesn't the guy ask you for something simpler? Getting girls to
date him, that's so beneath him.
Noche: Speaking of dates, what about you? Aren't you going with
someone?
Lucia: Not really. Other than you, there's really no one i know
enough to go with. Such a shame, i had a really nice costume to
wear.
Noche: Does that mean....you would consider going with me?
Lucia: Are you trying to do me a favor like you did for
Sebastian?
Noche: N-no! I mean...i would like to go with you too. I-if you
like.
ACTION:
Noche and Lucia stare at each other in silence. The girls in the
background have shocked expressions on their faces.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's narrative: Did I...Did I just ask her on a date?
Lucia: Sure, sounds great. We could join up with Sebastian and
it would be just us friends.
Noche: Right
Noche's thoughts: Friends...of course....
Lucia: Ok, its a date. I better get the strawberries and cream.
I can't keep my mom waiting. Pick me up at 13:00 so we can get
through all the stalls.
Noche: Right....see you at 13:00
ACTION:
Lucia walk's into the pastry shop. Noche gets up and starts to
blush with his hand on his chest. The female hooded figure is
staring at him from a distance.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Ok....i admit it, i'm in love with her...
Female: ...
SCENE:
Neighborhood of high-class row houses.
ACTION:
Noche is waiting at a doorstep alongside Sebastian and Alexis.
Noche and Sebastian are wearing suits (both black) with white
Venetian half masks and white gloves. Noche however is the only
one wearing a top hat. Alexis is wearing a dark red Victorian
dress with a black Venetian half mask with handle, long vertical
striped leggings, and long black gloves Sebastian gives Noche a
friendly shove on his shoulder with a supportive smile and Noche
waiting patiently. Lucia comes out of the house in a short black
Victorian dress, Diamond patterned leggings short black gloves.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: I'm sorry i kept you all waiting. Are you all ready to
have fun at the festival?
Noche: Of course.
Sebastian: Don't worry about it. I'll be having the most fun of
all.
Alexis: Let's head out to the main street, the game hour is
about to begin.
Sebastian: Right! Don't want to pay full price if I lose!
SCENE:
The city is lit up with colorful bright lights and odd shaped
balloons resembling stars, crescent moons, and animal mascots.
Several acrobats and harlequin-themed entertainers are doing
stunts on the streets with people staring.
ACTION:
All four of them walk into a street where several stalls and
games are being shown. They all enjoy the games and Noche looks
at Lucia and blushes at Lucia enjoying the games slightly
distracted. Lucia pulls Noche from the arm and takes him to a
puppet show. A man with a Venetian carnival mask appears along
with a female assistant wearing a Venetian themed plague doctors
mask appear in a fog of colorful smoke.
Puppeteer: Welcome Children! Would you like to know the story
behind Walpurgis Night!
Kids: yes!!
ACTION: The puppeteer disappears with a colorful smoke bomb and
the puppet theater lights up. the kids start to cheer including
Lucia. Noche notices and blushes.
DIALOGUE:
Puppeteer: 200 years ago, our world was plagued by creatures
known as Earthbounds. These monsters ate the souls of humans
along with the life of our world.
ACTION:
Puppeteer shows comical Demon-like creatures attacking
townspeople and destroying a forest.
DIALOGUE:
Puppeteer: The sun goddess attempted to eradicate these
creatures. But these creatures were immune to her abilities.

DIALOGUE:
Puppeteer: One day a woman named Walpurga asked our Goddess of
the sun to grant her control of these creatures in order to
banish them from our world. The Goddess saw her wonderful
qualities and in return, answered her prayers by granted her
half her power.
ACTION:
Puppeteer shows goddess within the sun shooting rays of light
onto a woman.
DIALOGUE:
Puppeteer: Walpurga became aware that the Earthbounds were least
active on a full moon and so she became the Goddess of the moon
and used her new abilities to destroy the Earthbounds.
ACTION:
Puppeteer shows Walpurga standing in the moon and slaying the
Earthbounds with the rays of light from the moon.
DIALOGUE:
Puppeteer: However, Walpurga was just a humble servant before
and still held pity over the mindless creatures. So she sealed
the rest of the Earthbounds deep within the earth where they
originated, never to be seen again. Our Sun Goddess noticed her
mercy and decided to grant a select a few humans to reign with
Walpurga in hopes that they will guard humankind from any
malevolence.
ACTION: Puppeteer shows Walpurga sealing Earthbounds on a cage
on the right hand and gaining knights on her left hand. All four
are enjoying the puppet show. Noche accidentally puts his hand
on the side. Lucia's hand happens to go on top of his.
DIALOGUE
Noche's thoughts: Is she accepting my feelings? Wait...I'm
getting ahead of myself...she could easily be holding my hand in
a friendly way...No! She might still see me as a little kid and
she might be holding my hand like an older sister holds her
brothers! I have to stop...
ACTION:
Noche attempts to slide his hand away but Lucia notices.
Noche's thoughts: sigh...she's so innocent...I probably wouldn't
deserve her anyways.
Puppeteer: Now every year we celebrate our prosperity we had due
to the Guardians of Walpurga watching over us. I'm glad you
enjoyed the show children! The show is completely free however
we do accept donations!
Sebastian: Wow, that was an interesting puppet show.
Alexis: I know! But is that really how Earthbounds looked like?
I was expecting them to be more...i don't know, earthbound-y
Noche: Their name Earthbounds came after they were sealed away
by Walpurga. Who knows what they were known as.
Lucia: You sure know your history Noche. It's no wonder you
grabbed my attention.
Noche: hehe...yeah....hey, I'm going to donate some money to the
Puppeteers, would you all like to help?
Lucia, Sebastian, & Alexis: ok
ACTION:
Noche walks up to the Puppeteer and his assistant and gives
their donations in their donation feathered hat.
Puppeteer: I'm glad you enjoyed the show my good man.
Noche: Yes it definitely got me closer to my date tonight.
Puppeteer: Yes, my assistant noticed. I also see women from
distance were staring at you during the show. You may not be
fancying more than one girl?
Noche: No of course not. I actually not really fond of women all
that often...no offense to your assistant.
Noche's thoughts: why the hell did i even say that?
Puppeteer's assistant: none taken. I'm sure you have your
reasons.
Noche: y-yeah...thanks again for the show.
ACTION:
Noche hesitantly runs back to the group. Lucia daringly grabs
Noche's arm and the four walk together.The puppeteer's assistant
stares at Noche undetected as she collects donations from the
kids.
DIALOGUE:
Puppeteer's assistant: I believe i found myself a new partner,
Bura.
Bura (puppeteer): Yes, i noticed you have been looking at im for
a while. This year is going to be very interesting.
SCENE:
A large group of hooded figures wearing Venetian masks all
around the city are looking at their watches and some at the
clock tower showing the time of 19:30. A silhouetted man sitting
on a dark thrown is looking at the clock tower through a mirror.
DIALOGUE:
Mysterious Figure: 1 hour, 30 minutes left until the hunt
begins.
SCENE:
The ferris wheel completely lit and has hearts and spades going
around it. The four are together in the Ferris Wheel.
Alexis: Wow! Normally you would have to go to the clocktower to
get this kind of view.
Sebastian: It's amazing...
Lucia: Yeah, breathtaking...what do you think, Noche?
Noche: It looks beautiful (Noche's thoughts: But not as
beautiful as you.)
Lucia: Yeah...hey Noche, how come you asked me to go with you?
I'm sure other women were glad to give up their guy to date you.
Alexis: Yeah! If you didn't introduce me to Sebastian I might
have asked you.
Noche's thoughts: "Because I have feelings for you" just say
it....
Noche: I guess I just wanted to be with my friends...
Noche's narrative: Why did I say that!?...why can't I just say
it!? "Lucia, I love you!"
Lucia: We'll its a good thing we're all friends.
Noche's narrative: Yeah...Good thing...
SCENE:
At the stalls groups of hooded Venetian masked people talking to
each other.
Mask1: Did you set it in place?
Mask2: Yes, but you're not the only one who had this idea. I've
heard rumors of others attempting it as well. It may look too
suspicious.
Mask3: Don't worry about that, this is the only secure way to
make it work. Plus, I tracked some of the copycats and gave them
some "insurance". I guarantee you no one will be asking
questions.
Mask1: Who cares if they do, we'll find ways to cover our
tracks. Keep looking at your clocks, the time draws near.
SCENE:
Noche and friends are at a venetian/fantasy-themed restaurant
with them seated at a table on a balcony.
DIALOGUE:
Sebastian: You know, for a baker's son, you sure know how to
live. How the heck did you get reservations for the Falce di
Luna.
Noche: I usually save up some money for such special events.
Noche's thoughts: Actually the Hostess practically begged me to
eat here. She offered me a discount on everything in the menu. I
hope she's not using me to promote her restaurant further,
mother would kill me if i did that.
ACTION:
Noche gets uneasy as he sees more customers going to the balcony
and stare at him.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: It's good to know you're enjoying yourselves. And what
great food they have been serving. I haven't seen Cloud candy
since i was 9.
Alexis: I know, i can eat all of that and never grow fat. it's
every girl's dream!
ACTION:
Both Lucia and Alexis laugh together and Noche drinking his
drink as he gives a faint smile seeing them. Alexis then turns
her view towards Noche.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: So Noche, you're quite famous for potentially being the
cutest boy of all Orologio Cobalto, how did you meet Lucia and
when did she become your girlfriend?
Noche: Lucia and I aren't dating but-
Lucia: -but we met back in the Academy of Walpurga. I moved into
town 8 years ago and he helped me in my studies. We've been
close ever since.
Sebastian: Oh that's such a boring story. Noche met me after
those two, tell Alexis here how we met. I was quite the hero
back then.
ACTION:
Noche starts to glare at his drink and clenching at it very
tight. Lucia notices.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: Noche was bullied by a bunch of thugs in alleyway for
attracting their girlfriends. Right Noche?
Noche: Right...I was in an alleyway and they all ganged up on
me. Sebastian managed to save me.
Sebastian: ugh...yeah.
Alexis: Wow, i didn't know you were such a nice guy, Sebastian.
Sebastian: nah, I'm just a simple guy who likes to help those in
need.
ACTION:
Guests begin to wear their masks and dance onto the dance-floor.
Sebastian and Alexis begin to act formal in a very comical and
exaggerated way.
DIALOGUE:
Sebastian: Madam, may I have this dance?
Alexis: You may, good sir.
ACTION:
Both of them walk to the dance hall as they try to hold in their
laughter. Lucia and Noche are sitting alone together and they
both look infatuated with another.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Today has been great.
Lucia: Yeah. Greatest Walpurgis Night ever.
Noche: Even though she repeatedly called me her friend, I can't
deny that expression she's sending off. I can't take it...i need
to say something.
ACTION:
The clock tower is now at 20:58, only minutes away from being
21:00.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: I been wanting to tell you something for a long time.
Lucia: what is it?
Noche: Your not like other girls. You don't just see my face
when I'm with you...it feels like when you see me, you see right
into my soul. Like you're the only one who knows the real me.
And, you don't seem fazed by the looks other guys give you.
Basically what I'm trying to say is...I'm in love with you
Lucia: Noche I-
ACTION:
the moment the clock hits 21:00, the clocks from each side of
the tower explode. The two turn around to see the light of the
fire from the distance with a shocked expression.
DIALOGUE:

CHAPTER I (part 2)
Revised since November 10, 2014
[Spoiler=CHAPTER I (part 2)]
ACTION:
Several explosions across the town are being executed. Suddenly
an explosion from the first floor of the restaurant ignites and
hits the second floor as a chain reaction. Noche looks to see
inside but only sees smoke.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Sebastian!
ACTION:
Noche runs inside at the doorway. The balcony begins to crack
and fall completely. Lucia attempts to run toward Noche.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: Noche!
ACTION:
Noche turns around and reaches his hand toward Lucia and was
able to grab her hand at the ledge of the broken balcony.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Hold on, Lucia!
Lucia: I'll try!
Noche's thoughts: Damn! What the hell is going on!? Sebastian,
where are you?
Noche: Sebastian!!! Alexis!!! Are you ok!?
Alexis: I-I'm fine...Sebastian happened to cover the attack.
He's unconscious and heavily injured! What just happened?
Noche: I don't know, right now Lucia is barely holding on to
me!! (Noche's thoughts: She didn't get hit while Sebastian gets
all the damage! Damn her.)
ACTION:
Lucia's gloves begin to slip off. She starts to tear up as she
sees Noche struggling to keep her up. She notices Noche is
injured as well, and she begins to smile.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: I'm sorry Noche, i don't understand why this is happening
but...I'm glad I spent such an amazing time with you. I just
want to let you know....I love you too.
Noche: we'll get through this. We'll get answers soon Lucia,
just hold on! Alexis, help me!
Alexis: I can't... there's a support beam on top of us!
ACTION:
Lucia lets her gloves slips and falls on top of the sharp rubble
of what remained from the balcony.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: No! Lucia!
ACTION:
Noche stares at her body for a while. She has her eyes open and
blood spilling onto rock shows. Noche's eyes are wide upon like
a maniac and his face is covered in tears.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Why did this happen? What just happened? I don't
understand...I don't understand!!!!
Alexis: Noche! Lucia! What's going on back there?
ACTION:
He turns back and notices Alexis and Sebastian under the support
beam. He lifts the support beam and Alexis is able to get out
with Sebastian.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: Thanks Noche...where's Lucia? Is she ok?
Noche: .....
Alexis: Where is Lucia?
Noche: S-she fell...
ACTION:
They manage to get to the 1st floor. A group of people are
running around in chaos. He sees Lucia stabbed with a sharp rock
onto her. Alexis also shocked with her eyes wide open.
Alexis: Oh my god...is she alive?
Noche: I-i don't know...
Noche's narrative:Her eyes...their wide open....but she's not
moving...
Alexis: Noche...Sebastian is still alive. I can hear him
breathing.
Noche: ...
Alexis: Noche!
ACTION:
Noche turns to Alexis and snaps out of it a bit.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Right..we need to take him to the hospital...but...i
can't leave her here....
Alexis: R-right. I'll take him to the hospital. Leave it to
me...
Noche: Yes...sounds fine.
ACTION:
Alexis walks away. Noche picks up Lucia, closes her eyes and
holds her tightly. He cries silently with a tortured expression.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: I'm so sorry Lucia. I should've held on more tightly. I'm
sorry...I'm sorry...
ACTION: Noche moves closer to Lucia and kisses her. The
Puppeteer's assistant appears from behind from the shadows only
her mask is visible.
Puppeteer's assistant: Its such a shame, she was very beautiful,
just like you.
Noche: Who's there!?
Puppeteer's assistant: It's me
Noche: What do you want!? Don't you see what just happened!?
Please...Leave us be...
Puppeteer's assistant: I want to help you regain what you
lost...I can bring her back.
Noche: What...what are you talking about?
Puppeteer's assistant: I can bring her back, all you have to do
is give me your soul.
Noche: M-my soul?
Puppeteer's assistant: Cut your hand and allow me to drink your
blood, and that will make your soul mine, and i will bring her
back in return. I understand these are not easy words to
trust...
Noche thoughts: What's going on...she is telling me to sell my
soul to her
Puppeteer's assistant: Don't you want to do anything for her?
Noche: Of course ill do anything for Lucia...
Puppeteer's assistant: Then you owe it to her to
try....hurry...if you love her, then at least try.
ACTION:
Noche looks at his hand and cuts it using a sharp rock from the
ground. The puppeteer's assistant quickly grabs his hand
(without his consent) and lifts her mask halfway to drink.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Hey! Wait! I didn't agree just yet-
ACTION:
The moment she drank the blood, her eyes glowed white and wind
started to surround the three of them. A large ray of light
shoot toward the sky all across the city.
DIALOGUE:
Puppeteer's assistant: Thank you for forming a contract with me,
Noche Carlevaro.
Noche: What the hell is going on!?

CHAPTER II (part 1)
Revised since April 11, 2014
[Spoiler=CHAPTER II (part 1)]
SCENE:
A huge mansion-like building with a large gate. Several kids and
adolescents in uniform walking out of it. A preteen Noche is
seen walking out when a group of girls start to move around
Noche. The leader is seen with her hands crossed.
Noche's narrative: My appearance wasn't always a good thing...
ACTION:
Noche is seen walking with his head down. An older and taller
group of girls.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's narrative: Back then, i had no one....
schoolgirl1: You know Noche, i can't help but to hate your face.
How is it that you are considered better looking than me, and
not even say a word about it? You're not even high-class like
us. You're nothing but a baker's kid. Its like you're trying to
show off how modest you are.
Noche: ....
schoolgirl2: You got something to say!?
Noche: Just leave me alone, i don't care about what other
students think about me. I just want to graduate so I can never
see you girls again.
schoolgirl3: This is why we detest you Noche. You think you're
so much better than all of us.
schoolgirl1: Maybe its better if we take your books away. We
hear there's a very important test coming up, it would be a
shame if you failed it...
ACTION:
Girls take Noche's stuff and start stepping on them and ripping
them apart.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Stop that!! Stop it, you witch!
Schoolgirl1: What did you call me?
ACTION:
Girls push Noche on the floor and start stepping on him. He gets
in a fetal position and hold is head.
DIALOGUE:
schoolgirl3: I'm bored of this.
schoolgirl2: yeah, my legs are tired from track too.
schoolgirl1: Let's go. Remember this Noche, if we see you
talking to any of the girls...you'll regret it. Don't ever
approach us if you know whats good for you.
ACTION:
The girls walk off and Noche dusts himself off and starts
walking in a limp. Noche starts leaving the school grounds and
as he walks he sees an older girl sitting alone and depressed.
Noche attempts to walk away but he turns around as he sees her
crying. His curiosity and concern overwhelm him and approaches
her.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Hey, are you ok?
Lucia: Yeah, I'm fine.
Noche: You don't look fine...
Lucia: You don't either.
Noche: Yeah, guess you're right.
ACTION:
Both Noche and Lucia laugh a bit.
Lucia: I just moved into this city a few months ago, and I
already feel like i don't belong...I am constantly getting
lost...and don't have any friends to help me, and I'm having
trouble with my studies. All of it is too much...
Noche: Yeah...I feel the same way.
Lucia and Noche: ....
Noche: Well...It doesn't sound so bad as you make it out to be.
I can show you around the city one day...And as for your
studies...well there's a strong chance we're in the same class.
Lucia: You'd really do that for me?
Noche: Why not? Y-you don't hate me do you?
Lucia: I just met you, i don't see any reason why i would hate
you.
Noche: Right...sorry, i haven't spoken to someone in a long
time.
ACTION:
Lucia wipes her eyes with her wrist.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: What's your name?
Noche: I'm Noche. What's yours?
Lucia: Lucia. Would you like to be my friends?
Noche: You want to be friends with me?
Lucia: Well you're the first person to talk to me in this town.
So would you like to?
Noche: yeah. I'd like that. Hey... if you like, i can give you a
tour of the town right now.
Lucia: That sounds great. lead the way.
Noche: And after that I can show you this shortcut to get to
school faster. Its a little dangerous because there's a crazy
chef who yells at you if you get caught.
Lucia: Quite the adventure you have.
ACTION:
Noche and Krema smile at each other. Several scenes of a young
Noche and Lucia running around the city. And the two sharing
special moments during the night. Several others are them
getting older and enjoying more time together.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's narrative: She probably didn't realize at it at time,
but she was my first friend too. The first person to accept the
real me.
SCENE:
Orologio Cobalto from an air view with the clock tower in
flames. Rays of light across the city are being shot into the
sky. The moon begins to turn into a light orange color.
ACTION:
Back to the area where Noche is at, The mask of the Puppeteer's
assistant flies off and so does her robes. She appears to have
messy hair although her bangs appear like a wing of a bird. She
is dressed with a vest, and skinny-jean-like pants, and
high-heel boots. Her eyes glow turquoise.
Noche: What the hell is happening right now!?
Puppeteer's assistant: Your soul is unlocking my full power.
Noche's thoughts: She was telling the truth!
ACTION:
Noche's hand begins to glow a crest with a symbol resembling a
thin crescent moon. A radiant chain comes out of it and makes
its way onto the Puppeteer assistant's hand. The chain begins to
form a scythe with Noche's full name on the blade: Noche
Carlevaro. Noche sees her face and begins to blush.
DIALOGUE:
Noche thoughts: What the hell is going on...
Puppeteers assistant: Now to grant you what you most desire.
ACTION:
The Puppeteer uses the scythe and slashes Lucia. Blood spatters
onto the scythe.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What the hell are you doing!? I thought you were going to
save her!!
Puppeteer's assistant: What do you think I'm doing, Noche
Carlevaro?
Noche's thoughts: Why is she talking as if she's already
familiar with me? And how does she know my name? Damn, there's
more to this that i don't know about!
ACTION:
The scythe begins to glow again and shards of the scythe that
were covered in her blood start to go into Lucia's body. Healing
her wounds. Lucia's eyes open and glow as the scythe
deteriorates. Her eyes stop glowing, falls unconscious, and the
scythe stops deteriorating and what remains forms into a small
knife.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Y-You actually did it! she's coming back. How did you do
it?
Puppeteer's assistant: Didn't you see? I used the energy of your
soul to jump-start hers. Just in time, her Soul was almost about
to diminish.
ACTION:
Noche shows a slightly shocked expression.
Noche: What? that scythe was my soul??? What's going to happen
to me now that you used it???
Puppeteer's assistant: Don't worry, as long as your soul never
goes out, it'll always regenerates back to its original form. So
long as you're not near death, this is all that's left for now.
Lucia: N-Noche?
ACTION:
Noche notices Lucia waking up.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Lucia! You're awake.
Noche's thoughts: I can't believe it....she's alive...
Lucia: Noche? What's going on? What happened?
Noche: I don't know exactly. But I'm sure we'll get answers from
"her".
Puppeteer's assistant: My name is Krema. I'm a distant relative
of Noche.
Noche: What are you sa-
Krema's thoughts: --It's in your best interest that she doesn't
know who i am, Noche.
Noche's thoughts: Wha- I hear her voice echo..but..i can't see
her lips moved
Krema's thoughts: I can read your thoughts. since your soul is
mine now, i have access to your thoughts, your desires, and your
fears. Everything that makes up your soul. You can also speak to
me with your mind.
Noche's thoughts: Who the hell are you?
Krema's thoughts: I'm Krema, your Lunatic.
Noche thoughts: Lunatic??
Krema's thoughts: it's best we talk when we are alone. Right
now, don't you have to attend to someone?
Lucia: What's going on? Are you ok?
Noche: Sorry. It's nothing... it's not safe here, let's just get
you back home. The festival is over.
Lucia: How long was i unconscious? What happened while i was
out?
Noche: You were unconscious for a little while. While you were
asleep, Sebastian was seriously injured after the explosion and
Alexis is taking him to the hospital.
Lucia: We should go look for those two, maybe they got hurt!
Noche: I haven't heard any more explosions since they left.
We'll see them soon, but for now its best we play it safe. I
don't want to lose you again...
Lucia: Again?
Noche: oh right...i don't know what i'm saying.
ACTION:
Noche picks up Lucia and start walking. A group of panicked
people are seen in the background.
Noche: damn it...i really want some answers. Why is this
happening?
Krema: I overheard a few people talking about a series of
fireworks malfunctioned all across the city. Someone must have
tried to give a big show and ended up hurting everyone.
Lucia: I can't believe all of this chaos would be for such a
simple mistake.
Noche's thoughts: I don't buy it.
Krema's thoughts: you shouldn't.
ACTION:
Noche shows an annoyed expression but quickly diverts his
attention to Lucia.
Noche: Are you ok, Lucia?
Lucia: for now...thanks for protecting me.
Noche: yeah...don't mention it. Anyone would've done the same.
Lucia: Not for me. Only you would...
ACTION:
They both start to blush, Noche in a more bashful expression and
Lucia in a more happy relaxed expression. They reach her house,
and mostly intact with a couple of broken windows.
Noche: I'm sorry the night was ruined...
Lucia: It's not your fault. It's strange though, i don't even
feel injured at all. I could walk on my own.
Noche: It's still best that i carry you. Just in case.
Lucia: Noche you sure are acting older than me.
Noche: Stop pulling my leg.
Lucia: But you are, you're so much older and you still manage to
be smarter than me...You're not the same boy i met that faithful
night
Noche thoughts: Yes...finally, I'm an adult in her eyes. Giving
up my soul may have been worth it.
Krema: ....
ACTION:
Lucia suddenly kisses Noche on the lips. Noche shows a .
Lucia: I thought i'd give you your first adult kiss...
Noche: Th-thanks
ACTION: Noche lets her down awkwardly blushes and Lucia has a
very happy expression.
Noche: I need to go check on my family. Make sure there wasn't
any accidents
Lucia: Ok, be safe.
Noche: I will. Be sure to check the radio see if they tell us
anything different.
Lucia: ok.
ACTION:
Noche starts to walk as he waves Lucia goodbye. Lucia waves
back. Noche turns and continues to walk and has a tiny smile.
SCENE:
The Pastry shop where Noche works.
ACTION:
Noche arrives at the shop, its also intact. Noche enters and
notices its empty and dark.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Mother? Are you and Eris ok?
Noche's mom: Noche!! I just heard the series of explosions. Are
you ok!?
Noche: I'm fine. What about you and Eris?
Noche's mom: we're fine. The explosion woke up Eris, but she's
asleep now. And who is this woman?
Krema: You don't know me? I'm Krema, a distant relative of you
and your son.
Noche's thoughts: She's my mother. there's no way she would
fall-
Noche's mom: -Oh, of course! I'm sorry for not remembering hun,
it must have been a long time since we last saw each other. Wow
you look so different.
Krema: Yes it has been a while. My family died a few weeks ago.
and I have no other relatives other than you, I hope its ok if
I stay with you.
Noche's thoughts: What!? You can't live on your own?
Noche's mom: Its fine...I know how that's like. Sure, I'll set
up the guest room for you.
ACTION:
Noche shows an embarrassed expression on his face.
Noche: Ok mom. Me and Krema will be in my room now...A lot has
happened and we need to...clear our heads.
Noche's mom: Ok dear.
SCENE:
Noche's room. Filled with books all over. A crib is also in his
room showing a baby with the name Eris on her jammies.
ACTION:
Noche shows looking over Eris. He moves over to his desk and
leans on it as he gives a serious face toward Krema.
Noche: Ok tell me everything you know. You planned those
explosions, didn't you!?
Krema: Yes and No
Noche: What is that suppose to mean? Explain yourself.
Krema: I only caused the one in that restaurant you were in.
Noche: Why!?
Krema: So that someone you loved would be at the brink of death.
And that would get you desperate enough to agree to form a
contract.
Noche: What? Why would you go to such lengths, and why me?
Krema: I needed a human to form a contract in order to
participate in "The Amber Moon Games" and you have proven to be
most interesting. You appear to have good looks according to
other females...and yet you despise them. Something lingers in
your soul...and i like it. I also saw genuine love for this
woman...I knew I could form a contract with you if you lost her.
Noche: You're sick! And those other explosions!? If you didn't
cause those, who did?
Krema: There are other Lunatics such as myself who used the same
method to form contracts in order to participate in The Amber
Moon Games.
Noche: You only bring more questions. What are Lunatics? What is
this Amber Moon Games?
Krema: Do you remember the puppet show? How The Sun Goddess
granted Walpurga a group of humans to guard humanity?
Noche: You're one of Walpurga's knights?
Krema: Not exactly. There's another side to that story, a side
that humans don't know about. You see Walpurga granted those
knights her power, causing her to become weak. Eventually she
had to put herself in a deep sleep to preserve her life.
SCENE:
Walpurga entering in a glass icy coffin and a large group of
knights surrounding her.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: As she slept, every year on Walpurgis Night, the
Earthbounds would find ways to escape their prison. And without
Walpurga, the Knights slowly became weaker.
SCENE:
Shows the knights kneeling down toward a creature shrouded in
darkness. Scene changes back to Krema and Noche in his room.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Since then, the The Knights entrusted their descendants,
us Lunatics, to find a new successor to becoming Walpurgis'
Knight. And since we still honor her, we choose only the one to
be her true shadow, the one we call Darklord. And just like
Walpurga was originally a human we too seek a humans to become
her shadow.
Noche: So what does this game involve?
Krema: A select group of Lunatics form contracts with humans.
Human souls are the most unique than any other species. once
formed a contract with us, our true power is unlocked and we .
The first 13 to defeat 100 Earthbound becomes a candidate for
becoming a Darklord.
Noche: Damn it...knowing all this still doesn't change the fact
that you forced me to be apart of this!
Krema: Forced you? You could've let Lucia die. I would've found
someone else to form a contract with. It was completely your
choice. I didn't force you to do anything.
Noche: You know what I mean! And what if I refuse to be part of
this "game" regardless of the contract?
Krema: You can choose not to. However, a large group of
Earthbounds have already escaped their prison and they can sense
Lunatics and their contractors. Unless you don't care about your
family, I suggest you participate.
Noche: So what? You can just use my soul to revive them, like
what you did with Lucia.
Krema: Your soul is already in a weak state, and Lucia wasn't
truly dead, not yet at least. she had a tiny spark of life. It
would've died out if I didn't form a contract with you. But
who's to say the next time there will be no life within her or
someone else you love? Even if you had the soul for it, it might
be too late for you to do anything. You must participate in
order to protect them. After all, you chose to form a contract
with me.
Noche: How can you say all this with a straight face!? You're
toying the the lives of who i care for!
ACTION:
Eris starts to cry. Krema picks her up and she suddenly stops.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: That is exactly why, Noche. I'm reading your desires
right now, all you want is for your friends and family too be
safe...a quality that's slowly being discarded among humans. You
also see how other humans can really be, particularly women. I
see your very being...you have the capability of being a true
Darklord. It must have been fate for us to be partners in this
game.
Noche's thoughts: This woman freaks me out... She says
everything with a straight face...but as much as I hate agreeing
with a freak, she's right. I do want to protect my family and
friends. I'll have to more than ever now that Earthbounds are
coming my way.
Krema: So it seems you come to terms?
Noche: Fine. You win. I'll participate in this "Amber Moon
Games" but...you'll have to listen to my demands.
Krema: You're not in the place to make any demands...but I
suppose if it moves things along you may say your condition and
I'll follow.
Noche: One, I don't want you to read my mind anymore. Two, from
now on you tell me anything I need to know about Lunatics,
Earthbounds, and whatever else your hiding from me. Are we in
agreement?
Krema: sounds reasonable. Its a deal.
ACTION:
Noche's hand starts to glow and reveal a crest, this time its
flashing red. Krema notices.
Noche: What's happening to my hand
Krema: It looks like the first earthbound decided to show up.
Come, the Amber Moon games have just begun.
ACTION:
Krema's eyes glow and bat-like wings start to grow out of her
back. She pulls out her plague doctor's mask along another black
Venetian half mask. [/spoiler]

DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Whoa! Wings!
Krema: Put this on.
ACTION:
Krema hands him a mask. Noche puts the mask on. Krema picks up
Noche and starts to fly in the city.
SCENE:
In the sky where the city and clock tower can be seen.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Why do I have to wear this mask?
Krema: To protect your identity. We don't want other humans to
know about us. If they found out that Walpurga is no longer
protecting this world, it would bring chaos.
Noche: Their going to see us eventually!
Krema: But with that mask they won't know who you are.
Noche: I'm the only one with SILVER HAIR! The women will know
it's me!
Krema: Just lie.
Noche's thoughts: This woman talks like its all too easy!
Krema: Look. There's the Earthbound. It's on top of the clock
tower.
Noche: I don't see anything just smoke from the explosion.
Krema: Look closer.
ACTION:
A giant thick and well-fit humanoid creature can be scene hidden
in the smoke. Krema and Noche make their way on top of the
clocktower. The creature walks out of the smoke and reveals the
creature resembles a human with a series of small wings around
its arms. It opens its mouth and releases an odd screech that
shakes the floor. Krema looks prepared to fight but Noche looks
terrified.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: That's an earthbound!?
Krema: Yes. I need you to release your soul for me Noche.
Noche: W-what? how am i suppose to do that? i thought you owned
my soul.
Krema: In truth you merely granted me permission to use it. You
still have to release it.
Noche's thoughts: She tell me this now! Damn...i don't know what
to do....and that Earthbound looks like it can kill with one
hit.
Krema: Extend your arm and just think about giving me your soul!
Noche's thoughts: Damn it...I have no choice!
ACTION:
The Earthbound swings his arm toward Krema. Noche extends his
arm as he looks away in fear. A knife comes out connected to a
chain and reaches Krema's hand. Krema uses the knife to cut the
several wings off his arm.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Wait...if she's doing all the fighting, why am
I here? I can't defend myself against an Earthbound! I have to
get as far away as possible!
ACTION:
Noche attempts to run away but the chain stops him from running
and trips him. Krema tries to stab the Earthbound straight on
but can't as the knife won't budge from the chain.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: You can't run away Noche! Why do you think I brought you
in the first place? There's a limit to how far your soul can be
from your body! Your soul has become weaker too, the soul chain
is shorter than normal!
Noche: Why do you keep these important details to yourself!? I
told you if you were hiding anything, to tell me right away!
Krema: I thought you knew the implications of your soul being
weaken.
ACTION:
The Earthbound starts to regenerate multiple feathered wings
overlapping each other. And swings the multiple wings, shooting
a large ammount of feathers
Krema: Now's not the time to be arguing you have to get closer
in order to defeat the Earthbound.
ACTION:
Noche is kneeling with his hands on his head as Krema is
reaching his hand toward him.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: I-I can't. It's too huge. There's no way you can defeat
it.
Krema: It just saw us and caught our scent! It's going to attack
us eventually if we don't do anything. Trust me, I can defeat
it.
ACTION:
The Earthbound strikes with both arms, Krema dodges and
accidentally let's go of the knife. Krema quickly picks it up
and moves a couple meters back. A close up of Noche losing his
mental stability. Showing a scared and insane expression as
sweat and tears come out.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: I know I don't have much of a choice...-but to
trust a woman other than my family and Lucia!? No! it won't
work! She'll betray me...just like all the others.
Krema's thoughts: This human really doesn't trust me...I'll have
to use a different tactic.
Krema: The Earthbound will attack Lucia first after it gets
through with us! It has already caught the aura of your soul and
those you've interacted with! You want to protect her, right?

Noche: Ok...
ACTION:
Noche slowly walks in fear toward Krema. Giving Krema more
distance to attack. Krema then moves in toward the Earthbound
but suddenly the Earthbound explodes with rays of Light. Krema
is shown with her eyes widened.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: wha...
ACTION:
Bura is shown holding a pistol with a chain connected to a
woman's heart with a mask on in front of Krema.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Bura...
Bura: What a shame Krema, I thought you could've handled that
Earthbound.
Krema: I see you had obtained your own human contractor as well.
Noche: Th-that man! He's the Puppeteer from before!
Bura: Nice to see you my good man! Don't worry, we took care of
it for you!
Krema: That was our hunt. You had no right.
Bura: This Earthbound was exceptionally strong and your
contractor's soul has been weakened severely. There was no way
you could've defeated it. Meet my new lovely contractor, her
soul is very strong. And just like your contractor, she
sacrificed some of her soul to save the person she cared for.
ACTION:
Noche takes a closer look at the masked woman.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Wait....Alexis is that you?
Alexis: Noche? You became a contractor too? -Wait! Did you used
your soul to save Lucia?
Bura: Enough my dear contractor, we must be heading out now.
Farewell Krema and Noche! Thank you for distracting the
Earthbound, next time I won't be around to save you.
ACTION:
The remains of the earthbound shaped as black feathers slowly
make it into the seal on Alexis's heart and shows the number
"01" on it. Bura grows his wings as well and takes Alexis away.
Alexis looks back at Noche.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Alexis is a contractor too...
Krema: Which makes her competition. From now on we're going to
be enemies in this game.
ACTION: Noche looks disillusioned as he sees Bura and Alexis in
the distant.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Alexis...my new enemy...?

[Spoiler=CHAPTER III (part 1)]
SCENE: Clocktower in flames. The dial falls off. Noche and Krema
are seen on top.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Oh well. Next time, Noche. Let's head back.
ACTION:
Noche falls on his knees with his hands on the ground.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What's happening?
Krema's thoughts: Bura was right, I wasn't going to be able to
defeat that earthbound with his soul in this condition.
Krema: Stay calm, I'm returning your soul now.
Noche: I-I can't see...i feel cold.
ACTION:
In perspective of Noche he sees Krema getting closer. His vision
starts to darken. it's all pitch black. Noche is seen floating
in empty space.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Why can't i see anything...what's going on?
Unknown voice: It's time for your awakening, Noche.
Noche: What? Who's there?
Unknown voice: Become the Darklord, Noche...
Noche: Tell me who you are!
Unknown voice: become the Darklord...and your true self will be
revealed. Awaken and be my prince.
ACTION:
Noche suddenly wakes up in a cold sweat. He looks around and
realizes he's in his room and its day-time.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: I'm home....was it all a dream? How much of it was a
dream?
ACTION:
A small radio in his room is turned on.
DIALOGUE:
Radio Host: Good morning everyone. I hoped you enjoyed that
lovely song. The song is "Awaken, My Prince" by an up-and-coming
songstress. She decided to keep her identity concealed for the
time being but she will reveal herself once her first vinyl disc
is released.
Noche: It was just the radio...
Radio Host: Onto our news segment, yesterday a total of 13
explosions across the city were reported including one on our
beloved Clock tower. Originally speculated to be an act of
terrorism from our neighboring countries, it was revealed that
these countries have also been hit with same range of
explosions. Citizens are theorizing that it is an unknown
terrorist group. The government had dismissed these theories and
sticks to the claim of faulty fireworks. Considering all
neighboring countries were also celebrating Walpurgis Night, and
all locations were reported to having fireworks from the same
company, it appears to be factual. At this moment, no deaths
have been reported, however a small number local businesses have
started to sue the fireworks company. The fireworks company will
be reimbursing them and additional payments for any damages.
Noche's thoughts: So it was all real....How can the government
fall for such a story. Damn them...those monsters covered their
tracks well...I still can't wrap my head around this Krema woman
either...she almost got me killed, telling me to get closer when
that Earthbound was right there ready to kill me. Its all too
much. Now that i think about it...where is she?
ACTION:
Noche's mom walks into his room in a cheerful mood.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's mom: Noche dear, I know today's your day off, but we
have a paying customer who wants to go on a date with you~
Noche: A date? This early??
Noche's mom: Well your cousin Krema is working for the day. And
this woman spend 300 Phlorins. That's more than what I normally
charge. So you must go on a more formal date with her.
Noche's thoughts: So Krema she's still here...If it gets me away
from all that, then I suppose one date with a random woman won't
kill me. It'll give me a chance to check up on Sebastian and
Lucia to see if their ok.
Noche: I don't know- I guess I could just this once. Lucia and I
might be committed sometime soon though.
ACTION:
Noche's mom gets upset (she normally has that "gin ichimaru" fox
eyes that you really can't see the iris) and her eyes become
slightly visible.
Noche's mom: Oh forget about that woman, there are plenty of
other women you can have.
Noche: I wish she wasn't an issue.
Noche's mom: Enough Noche. I'm your mother, i know whats best
for you. Now can you please go on this date? I don't want to
return 300 Florins.
Noche: OK...I'll do it.
Noche's mom: wonderful! I was almost about to guilt you into it.
Quickly get dressed~
SCENE:
Front of the bakery.
ACTION:
Noche walks down the stairs wearing his button shirt, button
vest and shorts that barely cover his knees. His shoes however
are worker shoes and don't match his style. As he reaches the
front he notices Krema with more clean hairstyle, wearing a
provocative maid dress with large trays of pastries to large
groups of men.
Noche: What the hell...
Noche's mom: Isn't it amazing! I finally get to put that uniform
to use!! Look at all the customers! We'll be rich soon! Finally
be able to afford the experimental surgery.
Noche: At least more men are coming in...I suppose she can be
useful.
ACTION:
As Krema passes each table, each young man approach her.
Table1: Heey there lady, will you like to go on a date after
your shift? I promise you'll have the time of your life.
Krema: I'm married.
Table2: Would you like to have a secret affair with me?
Krema: not attracted to the opposite sex.
Table3: What do you say we go somewhere private and get to know
each other.
Krema: I'm mentally unstable and might kill you if I start to
fall for you.
Noche's thoughts: How can she lie like that? Doesn't she care
about her public image? of course she doesn't, she's not human,
she's a Lunatic.
Krema: Your bill.
Table3: What?? 600 Phlorins for a round of pastries and shakes?
Krema: You grabbed my buttocks, my waist, and you attempted to
"accidentally" graze your elbow onto my breasts. Each second
costed 50 Florins according to my manager. You must pay,
otherwise I will report for sexual harassment.
Table3: H-hey...ok...we don't have 600 florins. We only have 200
at the moment.
Krema: Then give me that and ill keep a notice for the other 400
for you tomorrow. You don't want to anger an unstable woman do
you?
Table3: O-ok. Whatever you say.
ACTION:
The men pay Krema and walk away at a very fast pace with nervous
expressions. Others around start to get nervous as well.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: She's scaring off the guys! I knew it was too
good to be true!
ACTION:
Krema counts the money and Noche reaches over to her and firmly
grips her arm.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Hey! Don't hassle the customers!
Krema: I'm sorry...I promise I won't do it again.
Noche's thoughts: What's with that stone cold face of hers.
Can't tell if she's sarcastic or morbidly sincere.
Noche's mom: Enough Noche, she's still new at being a waitress.
I'll teach her how to be more presentable. Don't forget about
your date.
Noche: Fine fine, anything to escape her. Where is she anyways?
Noche's mom: Over there, the one with red hair. She came in
yesterday, remember?
Noche's thoughts: Alexis??? Why would she want to go on a date?
Is it because we're both contractors???
ACTION:
Alexis notices him and walks up toward him.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Damn this isn't good.
Noche's mom: I ensure you Noche will be a complete gentlemen.
Now run along, enjoy your date as much as you can!
ACTION:
Noche hesitantly walk away with Alexis.
SCENE:
The streets of the city. Scene shows some citizens taking down
decorations while one is seen cleaning up their store.
ACTION:
Noche is seen walking in a casual way as Alexis wraps his arm
around his.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: So...why did you pay my mom double just to see me?
Alexis: I needed to talk to you and considering how things ended
between our "new friends", I wasn't sure you would be willing.
Noche: Yeah...you're right about that.
Alexis: How are you taking all this?
Noche: I don't know. I tried just accepting it all at first. But
when I saw the Earthbound, everything changed. I lost it...
ACTION:
Noche sees a vision of what happened that night. Mainly Krema
asking him to get closer. Noche starts to sweat and get anxious
of the thought.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Why did that freak me out the most...?
Alexis: I'm still trying to absorb it all too. Lunatics,
Earthbounds, blood contracts, it just sounds crazy to me. But as
long as our friends are safe, I think we can manage.
Noche's thoughts: How can she be so simple minded?
Noche: I still don't trust these "Lunatics". They are the ones
that nearly killed Lucia and Sebastian.
Alexis: Yeah, I was more worried about you, though. You
entrusted me with Sebastian's life.
Noche: Well now my friends are alive, but I will have to fight
Earthbounds...all because of Krema.
Alexis: I don't trust them either. But we're cornered, we have
no choice but to be part of this Moon game. I know they consider
us as competitors, but we're the only ones who will understand
each other. We should get to know each other better.
Noche: Yeah...I suppose.
Unknown voice: Noche!
ACTION:
Noche turns around to see Sebastian perfectly healthy.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Sebastian! Are you ok!? I don't see a single scar on you.
Sebastian: Yeah! I woke up this morning at the Hospital. The
doctors left me virtually scratchless. Can you believe that?
Noche's thoughts: Just like Lucia...Alexis really did became a
contractor to save Sebastian.
Alexis: I'm glad I was able to take you to the hospital in time.
Sebastian: Ah, my savior and goddess, I'm forever in your dept.
ACTION:
Sebastian comically bows and kisses her hand.
DIALOGUE:
Sebastian:By the way, what are you doing together?
Alexis: We were just about to visit you.
Noche's thoughts: We were?
Sebastian: I'm moved by how close we've grown. Well look no
further, i'm here.
Alexis: Noche was also going to help me on a personal errand. I
hope you don't mind, but we are actually running really late.
Sebastian: Well I trust you in Noche's hands. After all, we did
have a great time together, despite the sudden knock out.
Could've sworn I saw something.
Alexis: Noche and I need to be going now. Its very important.
We'll see you soon ok.
Sebastian: Very well. See you two soon! If you need me I'll be
at Dolce Celeste!
ACTION:
Noche and Alexis walk away as Sebastian walks in a cheerful
mood.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: Is Sebastian always so...."Blissful"?
Noche: Yeah...that's what I like about him. He's always such a
cheerful guy.
Alexis: He didn't even seem jealous.
Noche: He's not the type to be jealous unless we give him a
reason. let's not procrastinate any longer, where are you taking
me?
ACTION:
Noche and Alexis stop at an alleyway. Noche starts to sweat and
have a scared impression.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Why did you take me here!?
Alexis: So that we can speak in private.
ACTION:
Noche is seen breathing heavily. Alexis notices.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What's wrong Noche?
ACTION:
Noche starts to get anxious and sweat extensively. A man with
long messy hair sneaks up behind Noche and grabs his shoulder
and gives a tight squeeze. Noche staggers and sits at the edge
on the side of the alley
DIALOGUE:
Man: Calm down...we're here to help...
SCENE:
Dolce Celeste pastry shop
ACTION:
Krema continues to serve tables. Her nose starts to twitch and
her eyes widen. She turns to look out the glass window to see
two Earthbounds staring at her.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Earthbounds...
ACTION:
Krema puts the plate on a table and crushes a powdered dessert
to the point that the entire bakery is filled with a fog of
powder. In the fog, a silhouette of krema appears with her eyes
glowing.
DIALOGUE:
Customers: Hey! whats going on!?
Noche's mom: Everyone calm down, our new server just
accidentally dropped the powder cakes.
ACTION:
The Earthbounds attempt to enter through the bakery but Krema
quickly kicks them out. The earthbound stare at her and attempt
to attack her. Krema runs away.
DIALOGUE:
Krema's thoughts: I need to lure the Earthbounds away from the
public and find Noche.
ACTION:
Krema runs toward an abandoned street and notices Lucia walking
by. They both reach eye contact for a split second, but Krema
concentrates on running away. Lucia looks back at her.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: is that Noche's cousin? Maybe she's going towards Noche.
ACTION:
Lucia follows her while not noticing the Earthbound following
Krema. The second Earthbound instead moves through the shadows
and goes elsewhere.
SCENE:
back to the alley with Bura, Alexis, and Noche.
Alexis: Bura! Take it easy on him.
Noche's thoughts: what's happening, it feels like all my energy
is being drained...
Bura: Its fine, I simply calmed his nerves. Everything is ok my
boy, we're not here to hurt you.
Noche: You're Alexis's Lunatic, Bura. Come to eliminate your
competition in the Amber Moon Games?
Bura: No no, you have me all wrong. Amber Moon Games is a
competition solely focused on the destruction of the Earthbounds
not among other competitors. In addition, I'm a long-time
acquaintance of Krema, I wouldn't dare affect her progress with
you.
ACTION:
Bura and Alexis sit side by side of Noche.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: I asked Alexis to bring you here to talk.
Noche: What could you possibly want to talk about?
Bura: To put it bluntly, I wish to form an alliance between us.
Noche: What makes you think I would side with anyone involved in
this crazy competition? I don't even consider Krema as an ally
after what she did.
Bura: Yes I understand completely....after all, I knew risking
innocent lives was ludicrous way to form a contract. But Krema
was determined to see it through...she was desperate to having
you as her contractor. I even attempted to stop the bomb...but I
was too late and she already made you a contractor. All I could
do is reduce the casualties even further.
Alexis: That's why he made me a contractor. So that you wouldn't
lose Sebastian.
Noche: Ok...that's makes sense. But what would we gain from
forming an alliance with me? (Noche's thoughts: Or rather, what
would "you" gain?)

Bura: The Amber Moon Games is a competition to slay 100
Earthbounds. A rather "small" number, don't you agree? Think
about it, why would you need only 100 Earthbounds?
Noche: To end the game faster?
Bura: Good answer, but not the correct one. Let me ask another
question: what would've happened if I didn't intervene last
night on top of the clock tower?
Noche: We would have been killed by the Earthbound. Are you
suggesting that--?
Bura: --The game doesn't end when they find a winner, the game
ends when all the losers die out. We use human souls to see
which one can withstand Earthbounds physically enough to slay
them and how much their soul can fight off the spiritual energy
that remains. Not many humans even pass 50 slays.
Noche: What kind of game is this!? Just so you gain a new leader
for the next 100 years!? Do you Lunatics even care about us
humans?
Alexis: Noche, calm down...that's why we proposed this alliance,
so we don't become the "losers". We protect you when you need it
and you protect us when we need it. We'll be the remaining 13
candidates.
Bura: I don't want you or Alexis to suffer anymore. I care
deeply for Krema too, and I want her investment to last...Do we
have an alliance?
Noche: I'll have to think about it. but-
Krema: -Noche! There you are.
ACTION:
The three turn to the end of the alley to see Krema still in her
maid outfit but wearing a Venetian mask.

DIALOGUE:
Bura: It's lovely to see you Krema. I see you blending in with
humans well.
Krema: Bura, what are you doing with Noche?
Bura: We were just having a lovely chat.
Noche: Why are you looking for me?
Krema: Two Earthbounds are here and caught my scent, their
coming for us.
Noche: "Us"? You led it here!
ACTION:
Noche's hand and Alexis's chest reveal a glowing red symbol.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Crap, its really close by...
Bura: Everyone keep a sharp eye! This Earhbound has courage if
it thinks it can fight off 2 Lunatics.
Alexis: Everyone, look up!
ACTION:
A humanoid Earthbound with large feather-winged and his arms
crossed, and glowing yellow eyes appears above them on the
rooftops. It jumps down and starts stretching its wings and
shows layers of smaller wings. It begins to flap its wings and
throw its feathers toward the four. Bura covers Alexis with his
cloak. Noche notices.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: Are you ok?
Bura: I'm fine milady. Just permit me to use your soul so we can
end this.
Krema: Noche, let me use your soul now. This time I have plenty
of room to kill it.
Noche: R-right
Noche's thoughts: Crap...I'm starting to lose it again.
ACTION:
A chain comes out of Alexis's chest and reaches towards Bura's
hand and manifests into a gun. Noche stretches his arm out and
his hand wide open but nothing happens. His face shows stress
and his forehead is sweating.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: What's wrong? Why aren't you releasing your soul?
Noche: I don't know! This is how I did it last time.
ACTION:
Bura shoots one of its wings off. The Earthbound swings his
second arm, shooting large whirlpool of feathers and knocking
Bura and Alexis to the ground. He attempts to shoot the
Earthbound from the ground but is too weak to keep his hand
steady and misses every shot.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: I guess its time to repay the favor Krema.
Krema: Hurry Noche.
ACTION:
Chain comes out of his hand and reaches Krema's. This time it
manifests into a sword. The Earthbound uses its remaining arm to
swing toward Krema but she cuts it in half. The Earthbound roars
loudly and opens its mouth wider. It starts to run toward the 4
and sticks out its tongue. Krema swings the sword and Earthbound
starts to deteriorate into feathers the moment it falls on
Noche. Noche shows a disgusted shock expression as he sees the
Earthbounds slide off him.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: This earthbound...it's touching me...get it off me. Now!!
Krema: It's already being absorbed into your soul. It will be
off you and into you soon enough.
Earthbound: DDdaAAaRRr...kk...LLOooOR..Dd
Noche: ...W-What did it just say?
Krema: Their incapable of speech. Its of no concern to us. Just
ignore it until it disappears.
Noche's thoughts: I could've sworn it said "Darklord". How can
she be so calm about this?
ACTION:
The Earthbound then gets sucked into Noche's hand. And shows the
number "01" on his hand.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Now...why are you speaking with other competitors? They
are not to be trusted.
Noche: And I should trust you?
Krema: Yes.
Noche: Grrr!! I wasn't really asking that.
Alexis's thoughts: That woman seems to push Noche's buttons a
lot.
Bura's thoughts: Ah, its so refreshing to see someone else lash
out at Krema. She was always such a hassle to converse with.
Krema: If you allowed me to read your thoughts, I would be able
to determine better.
Noche: That's not going to be an option.
Bura: Enough you two...Krema, I asked Noche here so I can
formally request an alliance with the both of you. We will be
having a better chance of winning.
Krema: We're not going to join any alliance with you. Let's go
Noche, we got what I came for.
Noche: Listen- You almost got the people I cared about killed
and I'm being forced to be part a game that can cost me my life.
And to top it off, my friends and family will continue to be in
danger until this game is over! So if you want this to work, I
make the decisions!
Krema: ...
ACTION:
Noche shows rage in his eyes, Krema shows the same expression,
Alexis appears worried while Bura has a small smile showing he's
intrigued by the situation.
Alexis: ...
Bura: ...
Noche: ...
Krema: Very well then... Whatever your decision is I will not
interfere.
Noche: Bura, Alexis, I agree to forming an alliance.
Bura: Wonderful! Oh this will be splendid Noche! Just us 4
protecting one another! Its not the best moment for you, I
realize. But I'm here to make the best of the worst situation.
You wont regret this.
ACTION:
Bura wraps his arm over to Noche, and Noche showing slight
interest in what he's saying.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: He sure isn't like Krema....maybe not all
Lunatics are bad.
Krema: I suggest we leave, Noche. As I was looking for you I saw
Lucia walking toward the bakery. I assume she was looking for
you.
Bura: Now did you mention it, I recall you saying something
about "two" Earthbounds. Where is the second?
Noche: What? But the Earthbound was following you! What if the
second attacked the Bakery!? My family, Sebastian and
Lucia...are they ok?
Krema: I don't know, was more concerned with finding you.
Noche: Damn it Krema! We have to go check! Bura, Alexis, we have
to go!
Bura: Farewell new friend, i hope everything turns out well!
ACTION:
Noche and Krema run out of the Alley and into the main street.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Krema...stay a few meters away from me.
Krema: May I ask why?
Noche: Do I need to explain everything? You didn't bother to
change out of that maid uniform. Don't want people thinking i
know you.
Krema: There was no time.
ACTION:
Noche runs slightly faster to avoid her with an irritated
expression. Krema notices.
DIALOGUE
Krema's thoughts: I know I'm forbidden to talk to you with our
minds but I wanted to let you know that your soul has been
recovering well lately. It was strong enough this time to slay
that soul without you fainting. Congratulations.
Noche: I'm more concerned over my friends. I wish you check if
the Earthbound attacked anyone!
Lucia: Noche!
ACTION:
Lucia is seen ahead of them. She starts walking toward them.
Noche and Krema slow down and stop.
Noche: Lucia, you're OK!
Lucia: Why wouldn't i be?
Noche: W-well you know...because of yesterday
Noche's thoughts: So the Earthbound didn't attack anyone.
Lucia: There weren't anymore explosions since.
Noche's thoughts: i should consider this luck
Lucia: I saw your family, its good to see they weren't affected
by yesterdays incident.
Noche: Yeah...good thing...
Lucia: Listen Noche... I was thinking about yesterday... We had
such a great time and I wanted to ask.. could we be a... a
"pair"?
ACTION:
Lucia's eyes turn soft and shy and her face appears slightly
flustered. Noche looks caught off guard and starts to speak but
Lucia interrupts-
Lucia: I don't care about the age difference. I've always seen
you as more mature than me! And...
ACTION:
Lucia grabs his hand and blushes as Noche looks conflicted-
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: I like you, Noche.
ACTION:
Noche tugs his hand away gently and backs away- He starts to
sweat a bit and look down.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: As much as I want this...
Noche's thoughts: damn it...just a few moments ago i could've
lost her because she got too close to my family...i'm only
risking her life all over again....
Noche: Lucia... I can't be with you. Not right now at least...
Lucia: Oh...is it because of the kiss? It was bad timing,
nothing more.
Noche: That's not bothering me at all Lucia.
Lucia: Then what? What's stopping us?
Noche: I can't talk about it...I have to go. M-my shift is about
to start.
ACTION:
Noche runs away and Lucia sees him run with disbelief. Lucia
also notices Krema chasing him for a brief moment.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: But isn't today, your day off?
SCENE:
Bakery
ACTION:
Noche opens the bakery walks in a very fast pace.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's mom: Hello Noche! How was the date?
ACTION:
Noche walks straight toward his room and slams the door.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's mom: Noche? Is everything ok?
Noche: Not now mom...please go away...
Noche's mom: Ok...I made your favorite dessert for that date you
went on. Eat it before it gets cold.
ACTION:
Noche's mom sees Krema walk in the shop.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's mom: What just happened?
Krema: I'm unsure myself Ms. Carlevaro. I'll find out.
ACTION:
Noche is scene sitting at the foot oh his door shedding long
streams of tears as Krema is seen knocking loudly on the other
side.
DIALOGUE:
Krema's thoughts: Noche, why are you doing this? Isn't that what
you wanted? Didn't you want to be with her?
Noche's thoughts: You really are stupid Krema, you realize that
I hate you? Its because of you that I won't be able to be with
her!
Krema: I don't understand, clarify.
Noche: An Earthbound was chasing you and you saw her come
looking for me!? What would've happened if she found me? She
could've died all over again! Walpurgis Night would've happened
all over again! I might have not been able to save her this
time!
Krema: yes, you are correct, she could've died. But she didn't.
ACTION:
Noche shows a freaked out expression as he holds the sides of
his head.
Noche's thoughts: I never want to see her dead again!
ACTION:
Noche is sweating with a frustrated expression.
DIALOGUE:
Krema's personal thoughts: I see...he can't be with her because
of me...
Krema's thoughts: You're right Noche. Despite seeing resemblance
to Walpurga's personality within you, there are some things I
still don't understand. I see why you would hate me. I
apologize.
Noche: I don't accept your apology. I will never trust you.
You're a sick monster who ruined my life. Get out.
Krema: ....
ACTION:
Krema is seen walking out of the bakery shop and into the town.
She starts walking until she reaches a large fountain at what
appears to be town square. She sits on the edge and notices a
young couple and how happy they are
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Maybe there really is something wrong with me...I just
took Noche's happiness.
ACTION:
A dark portal opens beneath Krema's feet and a second Earthbound
appears.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: The second Earthbound. -in public? This is not good. I'll
have to lure it somewhere discreet.
ACTION:
Krema starts running as the portal on the ground follows her.
Some civilians notice the portal on the ground. Krema bumps into
Alexis (with Bura nearby) unnoticed, Alexis however noticed the
Earthbound chasing her within that portal aas BUra notices her
crest on her chest glowing.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: Another Earthbound in the same day?
Alexis: She's in trouble if Noche's not with her!
Bura: You go search for Noche, I'll go help Krema fend it off.
This time we'll take the kill.
SCENE:
Burned down cathedral. In the outskirts of the city.
ACTION:
Krema stops running and looks behind her, but doesn't see the
Earthbound or the portal. As she looks around the portal appears
behind her on the wall of the burned cathedral. The Earthbound
attacks her from behind and pins her on the ground. The
earthbound holds resemblance to the previous Earthbound but with
smaller wings. Krema sprouts her wings but the Earthbound still
pins her. He starts to choke her with his tentacle arm.
DIALOGUE:
Earthbound: LllllluUUUuuuNNnaaA
Krema's thoughts: Noche was right. They really can talk.
ACTION:
Bura tackles the Earthbound off of Krema. Bura offers a hand but
Krema gets up on her own.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: I didn't need your help.
Bura: Oh Krema, I love how you speak such horrible lies.
Krema: enough talk. Let's just kill it.
Bura: If either of us kill it without our contractor's souls,
neither of us will get the point.
ACTION:
Bura unleashes his wings as well and their bigger than Krema's
and his eyes start to glow.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: All I wanted to do was to lure the Earthbound so that
Noche wouldn't suffer anymore. You can have the kill if you
want.
Bura's thoughts: What's this? I've never seen her out of
focus...No matter, more kills for us.
ACTION:
The two charge toward the Earthbound. Silhouette of the two
fighting the Earthbound.
SCENE:
Noche's room. Noche's head tilted back against the door.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: If only i never met Krema...
ACTION:
Someone knocks on the door loudly, shocking Noche.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: Noche! Krema's in trouble! An Earthbound is attacking
her.
Noche: Why don't you kill it...
Alexis: Because we're a team aren't we? Plus she was in public.
She's probably luring it somewhere remote.
Noche: She could die for all I care...it would end this stupid
game.
Alexis: If it wasn't for her, Lucia would've died...
Noche: No, its because of her that being near Lucia will
endanger her life! All she cares about is this stupid Amber
Moons Game!!
Alexis: Noche...I'm sure she cares about you in some way. She
allowed you to make your own decision today, didn't she? If she
didn't care, she wouldn't have brought Lucia back to life after
she formed a contract with her. That counts for something right?
ACTION:
Noche seems to have an expression of realization. He then looks
down with his eyes shifting the other way.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: I-i guess...you have a point.
Alexis: Noche, we have to save Lucia. They won't kill the
Earthbound unless they use our souls.
ACTION:
Noche opens the door and Alexis immediately pulls his arm and
they both start running.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: Quickly. I saw them running west, we'll go toward that
direction until I'm close enough to connect to Bura's mind.
Noche's thoughts: Why does she care for these Lunatics so
much...?
SCENE:
Burned cathedral.
ACTION:
Krema and Bura are panting and sweating. The Earthbound is shown
sitting on top of the alter.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: Well....this Earthbound is definitely strong.
Krema: Stop playing around and kill it. I don't want Noche to
suffer because of me anymore.
Noche: Krema!
ACTION:
Noche and Alexis appear in the entrance of the cathedral ruins.
Krema looks back.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Go back Noche, I caused enough problems for you. I won't
let this Earthbound ruin your life any further...
Noche's thoughts: What's with the change of attitude? Does she
really care that much for my happiness?
Alexis: Bura! Use my soul now!
ACTION:
Alexis places her hand on her chest with a space between her
middle and ring finger to allow the chain to be released. It
reaches Bura's hand and forms a gun.
Bura: These Earthbounds are just one-trick-ponies aren't they?
Krema: I'm not so sure about that.
ACTION:
The Earthbound starts shouting and breaks the stain glass
windows with its voice. It opens its mouth and unleashes its
long tongue. The Earthbound swings its tongue toward the 4.
Bura shoots the tongue but had little affect and knocks Bura's
gun away.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: This isn't good...I have to help you Krema.
Krema: I'm fine. This is my fault...I manipulated you into this.
I caused your suffering...
Noche's thoughts: I don't care right now! I order you to kill
that Earthbound!
ACTION:
Krema opens her eyes wider as Noche extends his hand and the
chain unleashes a slightly cracked scythe. Bura, Alexis, and
Krema are shocked to see the scythe as big as it is.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Noche's soul...Ok, if it is your will...I will slay the
Earthbound for you, Noche.
ACTION:
Krema starts running toward the Earthbound as she drags the
sword. She jumps and is about to attack but the Earthbound was
hit by a bullet through the head. The Earthbound instantly
explodes into bundles of feathers. Krema looks back to see Bura
holding the gun with ease.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: Well, that's that. Good show, everyone. Especially you
Krema, I honestly wanted to see what you would have done if I
didn't take the kill. But...Alexis and I are also in this game.
ACTION:
The feathers of the Earthbound get absorbed in Alexis's chest
and shows the number "02" on it. Krema looks down and then looks
straight at Noche.
Krema: Noche. I'm sorry. I didn't know this would affect you.
Noche: I can't do much now...like Bura said...we'll make the
best of the worst situation...
Krema: I promise, I'll make sure it won't get worse.
Noche: that's a sad promise. Still...at least you care.
Krema: You're my contractor. I have to do my best to satisfy
your desires.
ACTION:
Noche shows an embarrassed face as Alexis shows an annoyed one.
Bura holding in his laughter.
Noche: O-ok...you don't have to talk anymore...
Alexis's thoughts: she really lacks communication skills.
Bura's thoughts: I can't believe she said that. Oh really enjoy
these moments. He brings out the idiocy of Krema.
Noche: Look...even though I mostly forgiven you for yesterday,
It doesn't mean we're friends or anything. Afterall, I still
can't be with Lucia...
ACTION:
Noche looks away with a slightly irritated face.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Fair enough.
Bura: Ohh that was splendid! Quite splendid. You both made up in
a blink of an eye! I must say, I think you two should appear in
radio dramas.
Alexis: Yeah...I'm glad you worked it out. Noche, you going to
be ok with this?
Noche: I'm not so sure. But as long as we have this alliance,
I'm sure I'll manage. I won't be completely alone.
Krema: by the way, this uniform was destroyed in the process, I
must find a way to fix it so that I can work my shift tomorrow.
Noche: Oh shoot!!! My mom is going to make me work double for
this! Why did you let that Earthbound ruin the dress!?
Krema: Are you blaming me?
Noche: Grr! Forget it, we have to go back now! We'll talk more
later!
ACTION:
Noche is seen running away as Krema follows. Bura and Alexis
watches them leave.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's narration: I guess this is my lowest point...no use
crying over it anymore...
ACTION:
Noche looks at Krema for a brief moment and notices a subtle
smile. Noche shows a slightly surprised expression in his face.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's narration: Who knows...this might not end so badly...
ACTION:
Bura and Alexis are walking alone in the outskirts of the city
as sunsets.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: This has been a great day indeed. Truly one to mark in
history books.
Alexis: Yes, they accepted our alliance rather quickly. But
something still troubles me...
Bura: Yes, my dear? What is it?
Alexis: She seemed to take the blame for what happened
yesterday. But it was you who planted the bomb. Why wouldn't she
clarify for Noche? It would have saved her the trouble.
Bura: Because for Krema, taking advantage of the explosion was
as if she planted the bomb herself. She is indeed an odd soul
but the point is that it was enough to convince Noche and they
are now our "allies". And this will help you get closer to
Noche, so we both march down victory lane.
Alexis: I know you're hiding something from me...but I don't
care what ulterior motives you have. As long as we make Noche
happy. So promise me, whatever secret plan you have, Noche will
not be harmed!
Bura: Oooh, it appears someone gained a little strength from our
new friend.
Alexis: do you promise or not?
Bura: Yes, yes, I promise. Noche will be unharmed...but I can't
say the same for the world.
ACTION:
Bura and Alexis looks at the city from a distance showing a
hollow clock tower and the moon taking up most of the sky.

A Little Something Extra:
[color=#9370DB]Since Chapter III is finished, I decided to just
give some minor information about the world of "Lunacy". There
is a name for the country, and there are some other towns that
will shown in the story.
But the first arc will primarily set in Orologio Cobalto (Cobalt
Clock in italian) (originally named Citta di Tempo / City of
Time) and one other city left to be unnamed. As the story
expands, a lot of the action scenes will be on rofftops or
during the night. But in the normal scenes, you will notice a
lot of it is going to set in restaurants, cake shops, clothing
stores. etc. and that is mainly meant to show how easy going
life is in this town (on the surface of course). A lot of high
end and unique dresses (lolita inspired) and italian and russian
insprited architecture is set. The architecture is inspired by
both fantasy and real world places. The fantasy inspiration came
from Pandora Hearts, .hack, Baccano! Kingdom Hearts and II. As
for the real world is london, italy, spain and russia (moscow of
course)
Throughout the series, I intend to add some intricate desserts
into the background. Specifically in areas involvin restaurants.
In this world, there's more nutrition in sweets than in any
normal healthy food. So although you will see normal food along
with desserts,, what's considered "healthy" is reversed. Here
are some foods I hope, or expect (if the artist is not me) to
draw in the future:

I'll post more soon. Also if anyone is wondering why I haven't
included "Alexis" in the character list, that character list is
meant to be only the characters that were believed to be
relevant in the beginning. So I guess I wanted her to be a
surprise.
Established Characters:
Alexis Rubio [color=#BA55D3] is a girl with red mermaid hair and
hazel eyes. She appears to be the same age as Sebastian. Not
much is known about her other than joining Noche's group on a
whim which gave her a permanent seat in his circle as now she's
involved in the Amber Moon Games. Although working on
establishing a relationship with Sebastian, her true interests
lie in Noche. She often reading an unknown book with "reading
glasses". She also appears quite casual and light hearted.
Ms. Carlevaro is Noche's mother and 38 years old. She shares
virtually no physical traits with Noche other than their blue
eyes. She has dark brown hair and slightly tan skin. She is
handicapped, although not made clear in what aspect yet. She
loves money and is happy her son is willing to do anything to
gain more customers. Rumors are that she was once a great pastry
chef but was fired for reasons unknown. Despite her greed, she
loves her family very much.
Bura Alexis's contracted Lunatic. His age is unknown but appears
to be a man in his early 30s. He has long messy light brown hair
and yellow eyes. He is an old acquantance of Krema and their
relationship is unclear. He is a smooth talker, able to convince
almost anything to anyone. He has other plans set up that are
not known at this moment but they seem to be sinister.

CHAPTER IV (part 1)
[Spoiler=CHAPTER IV (in progress)]
SCENE:
A silhouette of a man sitting in a throne casually (as seen in
Chapter 1) and a woman with a chart.
DIALOGUE:
Man: Report on the status of the Amber Moon Games.
Woman: 21 of the 50 competitors have all obtained contractors. 8
remain to be dormant.
Man: How many Earthbounds have been slayed?
Woman: Within the past 48 hours, only 20 Earthbounds have been
slayed.
Man: hm. Seems this game is going to be rather slow...
Woman: It has only been 48 hours, milord.
Man: I have a feeling its about to pick up...Do you have any
reports on who the contractors are?
Woman: Yes, milord.
ACTION:
Woman hands them to him and bows as she steps down. The Man
looks at them over. His eyes widen when he sees a specific page.
Man: Interesting...Did you notice this particular contractor?
Woman: Yes, milord i have no idea what she was thinking
contracting such a feeble human...
Man: Very well. I guess it is too early for me to get bored.
Still...only 10 slays within 48 hours. I would like to see what
this contractor ends up doing when more arrive.
SCENE:
A cathedral filled with people. Noche, Krema, and His mother
holding baby Eris are sitting in the front. Lucia can be seen
two rows behind him with a depressed expression. A priest is up
above giving a sermon. A large statue of a woman is behind him.
Priest: And it was then that Walpurga has established her love
for humanity and to this day continue to protect us through her
Knights.
Krema: Interesting how you human depict Walpurga...
Noche's thoughts: Whats more "interesting" is how i continue to
come here after i learned the truth.
Krema's thoughts: Why would you say that?
Noche's thoughts: The church preaches that Walpurga , our loving
Goddess, has been protecting us through her knights... But in
reality, she's been asleep this whole time and there are no more
knights. Which is why we're here slaying Earthbounds now
fighting her battles...all to find the next Knight.
Krema's thoughts: It can't be helped. Walpurga still made it so
that we can protect humanity even in her slumber. After all, i
wouldn't have existed without her.
ACTION:
Noche looks at Krema with an annoyed expression and notices
she's has a genuine interest in what the Priest is saying. Noche
shows a slightly surprised expression.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: This is the second time i see Krema change her facial
expressions...
Priest: that will be all for today. May you all be protected by
the moonlight of Walpurga.
ACTION:
the group of people walk out of the church. Lucia notices Noche
and attempts to catch up to him.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Why is that woman so hard to read!?
Lucia: Noche!
Noche's thoughts: Oh no..
Lucia: Noche, are you avoiding me? You seem to be in a hurry to
leave.
Noche: N-no I'm not. I just have some things to do today.
ACTION:
Noche looks away with a slightly sad expression. Lucia notices.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: Are you telling me the truth?
Noche: Yes...I really do have some place to be...
Lucia: Ok...I'm sorry for bothering you...maybe we can meet up?
ACTION:
Lucia reaches and touches his hand. Noche eyes widen and starts
to sweat a bit.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: DON'T TOUCH ME!
ACTION:
Lucia flinches and the church people begin to look.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: I'm sorry.
ACTION:
Noche runs off into the crowd and Lucia looks at the floor with
a bitter expression.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: Noche, what is happening with you?
Noche: just forget it...
SCENE:
Noche is seen walking into the street alone depressed. Krema is
seen following. Krema reaches her hand out to him.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Noche-
ACTION:
The scene gets surreal with a pressure coming up from the
ground. Krema starts to sweat intensely and falls to the ground.
She turns to the side and looks at a young boy resembling Noche
running into an alleyway. Krema stares in a shocked expression.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Hey.
ACTION:
The scene turns back to normal.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What are you doing?
Krema: ....
Noche: Hey! Answer me!
Krema: I don't know.
ACTION:
Krema gets back up and has the same emotion-less face.
Noche: Whats up with you Lunatics...you're all freaks...
Krema: You didn't have to be so cold to her...why did you push
her away? I don't understand.
Noche: Wow, you don't understand something. that's new.
Krema: Explain why you choose to be so rough with her.
Noche: Why do you care?
Krema: I'm merely curious. i don't care what you do, which is
why i didn't stop you.
Noche: I don't want my scent of a contractor or Lunatic to rub
on her...its dangerous enough for her as it is. Its best she
avoids me.
Krema: And if she visits you, what will you do then?
Noche: I taken care of it. My mom banned her from the
shop...Sebastian too.
Krema: Sebastian too? So you understand what this game truly
does?
Noche: Yeah... one way or the other, you lose the people you
love...but i'm used to being lonely....as long as their safe. I
can live...
Krema: You're very odd Noche...to accept it so easily.
Noche: what is that suppose to me-
Krema: !
ACTION:
Krema notices his hand glowing. Noche notices it too.
DIALOGUE
Noche: Damn...
Krema: An Earthbound is nearby.
Noche: Now? we were just about to head home.
Krema: Not important. Lets look for the Earthbound.
ACTION:
Krema sprouts wings and lifts Noche without permission. Noche
shows an irritated expression.
Noche: Warn me when you're going to do that!
Krema: Next time. For now, look for the Earthbound, your crest
should glow brighter if we're getting closer.
ACTION:
Noche looks at his crest as Krema carries him in the air. Noche
re-imagines the moment he was cold to Lucia at the church.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Maybe i was too cold...but i can't risk her
dying because of me.
Krema: Noche! Over there!
ACTION: their flying over a female-like Earthbound covered with
six wings over a rooftop. Noche and Krema land.
DIALOGUE:
Krema: Noche! now!
ACTION:
Noche extends his arm and a chain comes out of his hand. Krema
catches it and turns into a scythe. The Earthbound opens its six
wings and swings its feathers. Krema manages to block all of
them, but suddenly kneels onto the ground with one leg. [from
now on, i'll simply be saying "Noche summons his weapon" to move
the story more quickly]
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Whats with these guys and feathers...
Noche: Krema! hurry up!
Krema: ...I'll get rid of it.
ACTION:
Krems runs towards it and is about to swing her scythe when she
suddenly falls.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Hey! Whats wrong!?
Krema:...
Noche: Answer me!
ACTION:
Noche looks carefully at her and sees she's been stabbed by
several feathers.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What the hell! You got hit already!? How'd you get hit?
ACTION:
Noche notices feathers are from her back. Krema pushes him away
from her. And gets hit from behind even more.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Where they coming from?
Krema: There's more Earthbounds here. Stay back Noche!
ACTION:
Noche looks behind and notices two female looking Earthbounds.
DIALOGUE:
Earthbound: LuUNnaAtic...
Noche's thoughts: "Lunatic"? why do they talk like that...? Talk
normal you freaks!
ACTION:
Noche looks down onto Krema.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Krema! Get up!
Noche's thoughts: What do we do now...where's Alexis and Bura
when we need them!?
SCENE:
A large group of Earthbounds surrounding a masked Bura and
Alexis are seen in public area.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: How come there are so many!?
Bura: I'm not so sure...to have this many so early in the game
and so suddenly...i can't give much of an answer.
Alexis: People are seeing the Earthbounds in broad daylight. How
are we going to clarify this to them!?
Bura: Heh! Don't worry, we thought as much...but we already had
a plan in motion just in case we encountered such inconvenience.
ACTION:
Bura shoots several Earthbounds in the head. all of them turning
to feathers and being absorbed inside Alexis's heart. More
Earthbounds start to appear out of thin air.
Bura: Where are you coming from, you disgusting creatures...?
Alexis: There's too many
ACTION:
Bura covers Alexis with his cloak and aims at the group of
Earthbounds jump towards them. They suddenly burst into feathers
and softly land on them.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: How did this happen?
ACTION:
A cloaked masked man wielding a Trident appears with a younger
girl also in cloak behind him.
SCENE:
On the rooftops along with Noche and notices the Earthbounds
suddenly turn to feathers and slowly fall to the ground.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What the hell....
ACTION:
Noche sees a cloaked woman wearing a mask and wielding a knife
with a chain on it. The feathers get absorbed by her as they go
through her cloak. She then runs away and falls in between
buildings. Noche looks at the direction to where she left. And
runs toward the ledge but there was no sign of her.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Was she a Lunatic or a Contractor....
ACTION:
Noche looks back onto Krema and notices she's sweating with an
expression of pain on her face...
DIAlOGUE:
Noche: What the hell happened...? Krema, get up!
Noche's thoughts: At this rate she could die...I have to take
her back home.

CHAPTER IV (part 2)

[Spoiler=CHAPTER IV (part 2)]
SCENE:
Outside Dolce Celeste cafe. Ms. Carlevaro is seen halting Lucia
near the doorway.
DIALOGUE:
Lucia: Why this all of a sudden? You never stopped me before!
Ms. Carlevaro: It is of no concern to you. I just decided that
you are no longer welcomed, is that so hard to understand?
Lucia: Just let me see Noche...
Ms. Carlevaro: He doesn't want to see you.
Lucia: You're lying!
Ms. Carlevaro: It's the truth.
ACTION:
Ms. Carlevaro has her hands crossed with a slightly upset face
while Lucia is showing a more sad and frustrated one. Ms.
Carlevaro tilts her head slightly and notices Noche carrying a
blood-covered Krema.
DIALOGUE:
Ms. Carlevaro: Noche! What happened to your cousin!
Noche: We...we got mugged...
Ms. Carlevaro: But to leave a woman like this? We should report
this!
Noche: its fine...lets just take her inside.
Lucia: Noche, let me help you!
ACTION:
Noche widens his eyes when she gets nearer.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: S-stay back!
ACTION:
Lucia looks shocked while Noche starts to sweat and gets
nervous.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: P-please...stay back...
Lucia: ...
Ms. Carlevaro: You see? I wasn't lying, he doesn't want you
around.
ACTION:
Ms Carlevaro goes back to help Noche and Krema. Lucia has her
head down with her eyes hidden walks away. The scene goes to
Lucia as she walks further and suddenly runs. a close up of her
eyes show her crying with one hand wiping her tears.
Lucia's thoughts: Noche! What is going on with you?
SCENE:
Noche's room. Krema is in bandages as Noche is at the foot of
the bed. Noche remembers the scene where he shouted at Lucia.
Noche's thoughts: This game just keeps screwing with
me...but...i just hope she'll understand when its all over...
ACTION:
The door opens revealing Ms. Carlevaro holding a plate of
desserts along with Alexis and Bura.
DIALOGUE:
Ms. Carlevaro: I'm sorry dear, but they came to visit and told
me they were close friends to Krema. But when they told me they
were skilled doctors, I thought they could help her...
Noche: Its fine...(thoughts: for once, i don't mind my mom being
so gullible)
Bura: Well hello there! We are here to take care of our dear
friend, Krema!
Alexis's thoughts: To think he can make up such lies on the
spot...
Ms. Carlevaro: I have some Cannolis. Please take care of Krema.
ACTION:
Ms. Carlevaro leaves and closes the door. The smiles of Alexis
and Bura quickly fades and puts a serious expression.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Where the hell were you guys!? We were attacked by a
group of Earthbounds! Isn't this why we had the damn Alliance!?
Alexis: Calm down! We were ambushed by a group of Earthbounds
too, we couldn't have helped!
Noche: You too...? what the hell is going on? Not too long ago,
they would appear one at a time. Now they suddenly go into
groups?
Bura: What did you expect, these Earthbounds are unpredictable.
The game had just begun...its too early to find a pattern.
Noche: Luckily someone else managed to save me.
ACTION:
Bura shows a face of interest.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: So another Lunatic became your knight in shining armor? Oh
do tell....i'm curious what this Lunatic looks like.
Noche: it was a woman...but i'm not so sure she was a Lunatic or
a Contractor...
Bura: What's there to confuse? The Lunatic is the one holding
the weapon of the contractor.
Noche: that may be...but there was no Contractor with her, and
the Earthbounds were absorbed into her. It doesn't make sense! I
didn't even get the chance to thank her.
Bura: Interesting.....
Alexis: Well...whatever the case, it wasn't the same Lunatic and
contractor that saved us.
Noche: You were rescued? By who?
Alexis: We were saved by a cloaked Lunatic wielding a trident
and a barefoot cloaked girl. around her pre-adolescent i
suspect.
Bura: It doesn't matter, right now we should be more concerned
over Krema.
Krema: I'm fine...
ACTION:
The group looks over at Krema as they notice she's awake.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: How long were you awake?
Krema: The moment i caught Bura's scent.
Bura: Saying jokes at a time like this. You're becoming more and
more like me.
Krema: It was no joke. You also suffered injuries and i can
smell your blood.
Bura: I guess i had my fair share of scrapes. So what do you
think about this mysterious savior who could be both contractor
and lunatic?
Krema: I don't know myself...but it doesn't matter. I should've
prepared for an ambush.
Bura: With the group we encountered...we're sure to expect more
coming soon later tonight.
Noche: what? More? what makes you say that?
Bura: No particular reason. i guess i'm just being a bit
overcautious...
Alexis: Even so, we should scout the city. We just been ambushed
by two separate groups of Earthbounds and we were powerless.
Noche: Your right. We have to start doing scouts now in order to
protect the people we care for. We've been laid back so far, but
now we can't risk anymore casualties.
Bura: My boy, you are becoming quite the Knight in such a low
amount of slays under your belt.
ACTION:
Bura puts his hand over Noche's shoulder and Noche looks at him.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: Ok, Krema and Noche we'll back you up as you scout
throughout the city. We wont be too far behind.
Alexis: what about Krema? There's no way we can defend Noche on
his own while Krema is injured.
Krema: I'm fine. Its night time now, so my body should be
regenerating more quickly.
Noche:How?
Bura: Lunatics are able to absorb the moonlight and use them to
regenerate faster in the night, when the sun isn't in the way.
ACTION:
Krema takes off her bandages as Noche looks slightly shocked and
looks away.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: G-get dressed. We have to soon in case any Earthbounds.
Bura: You both seem to be coexisting swimmingly.
Alexis: Enough! Get dressed already!
SCENE:
Shows a scene of the remains of the Clock tower.
ACTION:
the four are looking in the other four corners. of the ruins of
the clock tower with the full moon shining on them.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Do you think we'll be able to see Earthbounds so high up?
Bura: Would you prefer we fly you both around until we get are
wings tired hoping for your marking to glow?
Alexis: Remember the first Earthbound that appeared here? Who's
to say another will show up here again?
Krema: Lets just keep looking...we still have a better chance of
defeating earth bounds if one appears here.
Alexis: well it is romantic seeing the city from at this height,
right Noche?
NOche: I suppose it could be...
Alexis: Remember when we were on the Ferris Wheel?
Noche: Yeah...
ACTION:
Noche re envisions the scene where he snapped at Lucia near
Dolce Celeste.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: I should've been more careful with how i said
it...
Krema's thoughts: Now is not the time to be thinking about her.
Noche's thoughts: Oh give me a break, will you? It was because
of your condition that i overreacted. No one told me Lunatics
regenerated faster.
Krema: ....
ACTION:
The Four are startled by a large crowd of screams along with an
unnatural scream head directly in the middle of the city.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: It looks like the show is about to begin.
Krema: put your hoods and your masks on. It looks like there are
people around.
ACTION: The four put their masks and hoods on simultaneously as
Bura and Krema grow out their wings and carry the two. They soon
fly in closer to the city and notice a crowd of people centered
around a cloaked woman fending off a tall Earthbound. The
Earthbound appears female like the previous but also has
additional wings on her arms and ankles. Noche looks closer at
the battle and notices a cloaked woman fighting the Earthbound
is using the same weapon as the one who saved him.
DIALOGUE:
Noche's thoughts: Wait...could it be...? It is!
Noche: Its her! The Lunatic-Contractor from before!
Bura: Luck always manages to find us, eh Noche? Let us unravel
the mystery behind this woman!
Alexis: We need to take care of that Earthbound first!
ACTION:
The four drop down in the middle of the battle and summon their
weapons.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: Well hello there stranger! Mind settling my curiosity and
telling me what you are? Are you human...or perhaps a Lunatic
like me?
Woman: ...
ACTION:
The Earthbound spreads its wings and throws its feathers to the
crowd. The woman releases her chained knife and manages to block
them all before hitting the crowd. The crowd begins to cheer and
clap.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: What? these people aren't scared, their enjoying this.
What the hell! Get out of here already!
Bura: Ah yes, run, run for your lives! Don't let this creatures
darkness touch your innocent faces!
Noche's thoughts: What the hell....is he being sarcastic!?
Krema's thoughts: we'll explain soon enough. For now don't worry
about the people, we'll be able to protect them.
ACTION:
Krema jumps and cuts off several wings. From her arms. The
Earthbound begins to regenerate multiple wings from her wound
but Burs is able to shoot it more times. The mysterious woman
lunges her knife cutting off one of her hands.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Alexis, do you understand what's going on? Why are people
enjoying this.
Alexis: Don't say my name outloud! I'm not sure myself but...its
better than a crowd of frightened people.
ACTION:
The woman wraps up the Earthbound with her chained knife while
Krema holds her scythe around the Earthbounds neck and Bura
holding his pistol to her head. They each give each other an
intense stare.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: So who will take the slay this time?
Alexis: Quit the drama! You knew we would give the next
Earthbound to Noche and Krema!
Bura: As you wish, madam.
ACTION:
Bura releases his pistol but the woman squeezes the Earthbound
to death exploding into feathers. The woman attempts to runaway
but Krema and Bura manage to hold her down by her shoulders.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: It is rude to walk away without saying thank you.
Krema: Next time, I make the kill.
ACTION:
The two face the crowd with a smile and a hand raised.
DIALOGUE:
Bura: Thank you everyone! I hope you enjoyed the show!
Noche's thoughts: What's going on. Krema.
Krema's thoughts: If Earthbounds became public, we Lunatics
would preserve them secret by creating a fake troupe.
Bura: Remember folks! These creatures come from distant worlds,
although highly trained they are still dangerous to be touched!
I must commend your bravery for being so close to the foul
beast!
Noche's thoughts: I get it...so these masks and cloak-
Krema's thoughts: -Are another tool for us to preserve the
existence of Earthbound remnants.
Noche:...
Bura: Thank you! We are the Shadow Troupe! I do hope you enjoyed
our show!
ACTION:
The woman slowly walks away as their distracted and quickly runs
off. Alexis notices.
DIALOGUE:
Alexis: Noche! Bura! She's getting away.
Noche: I'll go after her, you guys attempt to corner her.
ACTION:
The four split up with Noche chasing her directly. She manages
to go through an empty street.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: You don't have to run! I just wanted to thank you for
saving us!
Woman: ...
ACTION:
Bura and Krema land from the air and spread their wings wide.
The woman is intimidated and steps back. Krema notices she's
been holding something underneath her cloak. Noche catches up to
her.
DIALOGUE:
Noche: Hey...I just wanted to-
Krema:Noche! Stay away from her!
ACTION:
Krema rips her cloak to reveal a woman with long hair and bright
eyes holding a baby. Noche is shown with a shocked expression...
DIALOGUE:
Noche: You're...a...
Woman: Yes...I am Lunatic. And this infant is my contractor.
END
