thort we didnt play too bad especially 2nd half where i felt we
dominated but defensivly was a shambles as all goals were
exactly the same, gota start listening to what im saying and
putting it into practise as my teamtalk before hand spoke about
position, and thats what cost us 5 goals.
1. burns - didnt have much to do other than the goals which
from 2 yards out u cant be to blame for them, other parts of ya
game were fine mate played out the flanks when you could and
picked up the pieces when u were called upon.
2. chrissy - poor game yesterday mate, again positionally getin
pulled all owa same as last week, gotta make sure you where u
put in order to be able deal with the threat in that position,
more communication is needed wit other defenders, chin up lets
get back to ya best bud.
3. warren - brought a lot of attacking presence to game, again
linking up well wit leon and getting stuck in, but positionally
u were all over the shop which lead to goals. same wit chrissy
stick to ya postion and communicate wit other defenders to mark
anyone coming in another area so u dnt get sucked outa position.
4. zanda - had a canny game all round, got stuck in. looked
rusty at times and need to talk more and read game whats goin on
around ya to get help from ur teammates. also passing again
wasnt best which we have spoke bout, keep working on it
5. grey - wernt as solid as usual and your very loud voice wasnt
in full flow, these are what you bring to the game and team miss
so make sure they there next week, other than that got stuck in
and aerially u were commanding also geting a goal for ya
efforts, some good interplay going forward also breaking from
the back, jst remember you are centre half so dnt get carried
away ;)
6.lee - another solid performance, didnt put much wrong, got
stuck in read the game well, with your ability to read game you
gota start commanding the back, tell them what to do n being a
dominant figure back there, this is what we missing at the back
n its time for u step up n start doing it, everyone will see the
benefits.
7. andy - had a canny game, decsion making played a big part in
ya game as u have to get this right otherwise u wont stand out,
make sure the ball get held up first before flicking past cos ul
lose it like so many times sunday, also dont be rushed into
making a long ball, ur on the wing use lads round ya to pass n
get to the byline, more chance of good delivery doing this.
8. paul - good game for ya creating a lot of chances, also got
in amongst it winning battles, passing yesterday wasnt best,
again use simple balls although rite idea was intended with
light balls and wind of sunday those balls wernt really guna
come off, basics is better. also midfield are way too deep, u
gota lead by example and make the lads push up further.
9. jacka - defensivly u worked well getting stuck in, bt
yesterday was an off day for ya, again moving forward in
possesion gota work on close control and better first touch as
kept losing ball thru this, positionally again as touched on jst
make sure stick central and not too deep .
10. me - noramlly wudnt comment on myself, n although i thort i
had a canny game my finishing wasnt there at all yesterday which
if i had been a normal day id of had at least three, so thats my
fault as if id scored the chances could of been diffrent game bt
still doesnt excuse giving them 5 goals the same, we all have
them off days sorry lads.
11. leon - played well down the flank, got at them any chance
and got sum decent deliverys, but again rushing yourself by
taking ur time looking at options available inside, killing ball
first before looking at first time crosses ur game will improve,
love ur use of the byline bt doesnt always have to go there.
subs =
damen - played well wen came on, held ball up well got stuck in
n created few oppurtunitys, keep it up. b a cracking player jst
need improve on fitness
hally - played well wen came on, good interchanges wit myself
and wingers, also created couple shots on target, gud stuff
anth - played well wen came on, got yaself about loads of graft,
positionaly remember stick central if thats wer u are put gettin
pulled out a bit n leaving centre vulnerable, other than that
gud
Main points which must be adhered to for sunday coming:
stick to postions
more communication
take ya time on ball dont rush
we need 3 points sunday, so lets get back to solid defending and
put our mark down

this sunday is really a massive game for us,. everyone there
on time , get the nets up and get focused on the job in hand.

Cheers for the comments gaffa,couldnt agree more with what you
have said about everyone and im sure everyone will take it on
board.Lets not forget lads this is our first season together and
we need to learn the way each other play and think about the
game.Next season we are going to be fighting for this league if
we all stick together like we have this season,we will get the
creases ironed out now.I understand its frustrating for a few
lads atm because they not getting playing time or whatever bt we
have all been in that situation at some point this season and
its what makes us stronger better players if we overcome that,if
ya cant do that then maybe ya not strong enuf to play for the
mallard fc,cos we are a strong fucking club with good management
and structure.
Just remember to go out on sunday and give 100%.(Pain is just
failure leaving the body ;))

Should try and play people in permanent positions too in my
opinion.
Like Readymarcher for example. Plays up front one week and then
right wing the next. I know Andy would completely disagree as
he, like everyone else, will take the game time regardless, but
it helps players get used to playing them positions and can help
others on the pitch when they get used to playing in front or
behind the other.
