Just make it a monthly subscription fee by standing order - The
understanding being this covers all the match and training fees
and any kit that needs buying and this takes away the chasing
fees and people turning up pleading poverty week after week, but
this needs to be reflected in the professionalism in the running
of the club so we have loads of footballs, water bottles
basically all the kit you would expect by paying that amount of
money

In theory I would prefer it to be a DD being paid in every month
however in reality its easier for the club to collect the money
in every week. We may change that system in the future but for
now we would be going for £5 a week.

Surely monthly direct payment from a bank is easier than
collecting week on week?
And there are changing rooms at the Drive just no showers as far
as I remember. But we could look to get the Cricket Club
facilities?

Unless everyone is prepared to pay on exactly the same day. Then
someone has to check that everyone has paid and tick them off a
list anyway. Then when it comes to paying referees fees and for
training we have to go to the bank before hand to get the cash
out at least 2 of us have to go to the bank. then when do direct
debits stop and start? what happens in a 5 week month as we will
train 5 times but will have only paid for 4 weeks?
In an ideal world we would do it all online but for practicality
reasons weekly payment is a better solution. I'm going to try
and do some sort of spreadsheet on here so people can see if
they have paid or not and what they owe.
There's no easy solution and both ways have there positives and
negatives.

u could probs put a poll up so everyone can put up and state if
they are happy with this and nobody will know put up what , just
only a few have responded to this

I thought about that but to be honest we've got no choice we've
got to do it this way. If people have any other ideas but I
think this way seems canny

Yeah its just so we have a rough idea how many like it and
don't because if 10 ppl don't want to it might mean looking for
new players , and nobody knows who they are ad ppl aren't really
getting involved and popping anything on apart from a few of us
. I think its worth a go Mr Bolton .
