**IMPORTANT EVERYONE READ**

Right lads been discussing this with dan for a few weeks and
were going to change a few things at the club.
This year any money that's come in has gone straight out on
things and has meant at times there's no money in the "pot".
Were looking to rectify that and hopefully make things a bit
fairer on everyone.
We are going to need a treasurer as because the FA have
requested we be a "charter standard" club then we need bank
accounts etc. We will sound this out over the next few weeks and
see who fancies it. I know Jack said earlier in the season he
would do it?
The main difference to you lot is that every year if you want to
play you need to pay £30 to sign for the club. £10 of this will
go to pay your membership for the conny (that we have to pay)
the other £20 will go in the pot. Then each week from the first
game of the season you pay £5 this pays for subs and training.
This is paid weather your there or not. Now I know this is a bit
iof a knightmare if you work shifts or away however we need to
do something as we have been caught short a few times at
training and with the pitch. It also means that for example if
something was to happen and we couldn't play out of any pub
there will always be money to pay league fees etc. the only way
you won't have to pay is for a long term injury which Dan,
Myself and a treasurer would decide if they needed to pay each
week. IF YOU GET UP TO 4 WEEKS BEHIND YOU WONT PLAY UNTIL YOUR
DEBT IS SETTLED.
Finally at the end of the season we will reveiw what's in the
pot and potentially divvy it up between all players. It might be
£5 each it might be £50 we won't know until we've done it the
first year. We will obviously leave money in the pot for the
next season. Every player who signs will have to pay this £30 to
sign for us regardless of how many games left of the season.
We've discussed this and decided it's what's best for the club.
Were 99% certain this is what we are doing. If anyone has any
suggestions or has any questions please let us know.
If anyone wants to know what we pay out as a club each season
then let me know and I'll gather all of the information but it's
over £2000 so were doing this to protect the club.
Muchos love the fat lad

The thirty pounds makes sense, the Mallard is the only side i've
never paid a signing on fee for so no objections on that one
Let me get the other one clear in my head - If you are signed on
then every week you pay £5? - When is it payable each week or is
it split so £2 training and £3 match - There are roughly 37
weeks to the season so going in everyone needs to commit to
paying £185 + signing on fee - Just so everyone is aware
If it works and you get 18 signed on then taking away the Conny
membership portion of the fee you've got a guaranteed income of
£3690 - I wouldn't divvy any remainder out - The fees are for
the club and you pay in knowing the club gets stronger, also if
we can get sponsorship and arrange regular fundraisers we'll be
in a really healthy state
Also - I've enquired about getting the Drive for next season so
I'll let you know how I get on

Paul macs had the calculator out and made it clear.
Payment will be £5 probably payable on a Sunday. The reason
we've decided to possibly divvy up what's left is that say our
total expenditure is £2000 but we take £4000 over the year there
is no point in having £2000 sat in the pot. And then 3 seasons
down the line potentially having £6000 sat. The divvying up will
be better discussed at the end of the season as it might be a
non starter if there's only £500 there. We will worry about it
then.

Gassy punters will be totally separate and I'll be passing it on
to someone to run as I've got enough to sort with other things.

Ide rather pay £20 a month than £5 a week :)- Why are we moving
from houghton next season, its been great having that pitch this
year when conditions have been bad and we always get our game on
there! and Showers are nice.

Firstly I think moving back to seaham on the drive is a ideal
choice , back to grass, proper training sessions, less people
driving plus iv heard ppl from the conny would come watch us but
probably won't drive to houghton, its a big yes from me if we
get the chance.
30 quid sign on fee , yeah I'm good with that, 5 quid a week
again yeah I'm good with that aswell, if any moneys left over we
could just put it towards end of season or t.shirts or a night
out .so yeah I'm good with all that.

For me I'd stay at our pitch at Houghton sharing a pitch is not
ideal. But it's something we can talk about.

if we had say 2000 sitting in a pot, get polo tops training kit
and a nice tracksuit each look like a team coz some people come
like they gan rattin after games ha, also fines for not having a
wash. dirty boots etc all raises money. lateness etc. ;-).
we should never be caught short moneywise if everyone pays every
week unless dan is going on holiday hahahaha.
