The training game...
By: Leon Date: January 12, 2014, 1:51 pm

Yeah it's only a training game but I feel it's good for us to
give a good opinion on it, I thought our team played really well
for long period let the other tea back into it in the second
half but I still felt we wouldn't loose even tho it was 5-4 to
us.
Be great to give an opinion on who impressed you etc. Obviously
had players playing who doesn't play for us but I think it was
good for them to be involved, but I terms of us I was impressed
with Rosey centre half played well and looked comfortable,
marksy was good too and other players on our team like Lee
getting the hat trick and then Jac and Robson played well too
And certainly give Dan a headache, thought Dotty and Moo played
well for the bibs.
Great workout and thought it was really benficial to us, fitness
wise and stuff Great to know what peoples views are and is all a
bit crack!
P.s anar people have commitments etc. But we have just left a
pub cos we didn't give it the support he wanted and moved to the
Mitchell's where we get tret brilliantly but we need body's back
and it's shit! We get mint bait on etc. And if it carries on
john an the lasses who bother to do our bait will just get sick
etc. End of the day you play for a PUB team so would be no harm
on supporting it especially when John is good to us!
Not there Thursday so see yas Sunday
Xx

Enjoyed the game it was a canny run out! good 2 see some new
players to see what they were like and an old new player as well
(Paul Mac) some good stuff played at times and some good team
goals scored. Rose looked good at the back reads the game class
and is comfortable on the ball. thought Mowks was good as well
until the 2nd half when he was hanging! holds the ball up well
and set a couple of goals up as well. took the match ball home
its on the fire place next 2 all my trophies!
and a won a steady £60 for the punters!! £3 double Dzeko /
Suarez first goal....if Real had won by more than 1 goal would
of had an extra 90 beans in!

was a good game, shame about me blisters trebled of it tho ....
!!! :o
nice to get 20 lads together and having a game against each
other, the sides were fairly even and both teams had good halfs,
with plus and negatives on either side, but thats footy , new
lads looked comfortable and paul looked like hed never been
away, and jim bob,, played a good game, shame he wont sign back
on instead of being the man in black,
Mitchells are treating us really well, the food selection week
in week out is completely different, this week was chips, rice,
chicken curry and prawn crackers, but theres only ten of us gone
back so half of it was left, bolton told john when he took us on
we were looking at about 15 to 20 going back every week so we
are going to have to put the effort in, as leon said we are a
pub team so you go back to the pub after the game, even if its
just for a pint of pop and a bit grub, i dont really see what
the problem is with going for some free grub with your mates
after a game its only like half an hour and that baffles me to
bits..
So note 1..
everyone back to mitchells after the game
on sunday
note 2..
refer to note 1.
peace.

Enjoyed yesterdays game and was good for everyone to get a
chance to show what they can do. Thought Rosie and Marksy were
both excellent and was nice to see Paul Mac back being tidy.
Lots of people played well and we played some good possession
football which is what we need to do against teams as we've got
lots of people who are happy to have the ball.
Ill reiterate what people have said we need to get people back
to Mitchelles as were being well looked after. Theres a few who
pop in for one then go home which is all we need from a few
others.

I thought yesterday was good - The pace was a little slow which
may have been down to the cold or the fact it was a training
match but it allowed for some good football from both sides.
Personally it was nice to continue to blow away the cobwebs,
i've managed to knacker a pair of boots already and at times my
legs didn't want to do what my brain was telling it but still
for a first go at 90 minutes in over 6 months I was happy(ish)
One thing I noticed which has always been our problem is the
vocal side. You are all normally a bunch of mouthy cnuts but at
times on the pitch it is a little too quiet so lets start
talking more.
I will start coming back to the pub - Had to go back and get the
kids yesterday as the wife was at work but normally I'll be
there for at least one although doubt I'll join your Sunday
session club
