Semi Yesterday

Well what do we think? People will say forget about it and move
on but we need to look at what was the problem?
For me it was work rate and attitude. There were some bad passes
made etc but the lack of trying to win the ball back and fight
for things was shocking. They had loads of unchallenged headers
and won far too many second balls. Was the most frustrating game
I've seen us play. Last 20 mins we created more chances but the
work rate was still shocking. Think we thought we had won the
game before it started to be honest. They are up there with the
worst teams I think we play. The pitch was bad but that
shouldn't effect our work rate and desire. Disappointing to not
get through as if we had got to two finals everyone could/would
have at least played in one.
Hopefully it gives us a kick up the arse and we are better next
week!!

Little worried clicking on this topic - Concerned it would be a
description of Robbos sexual activity yesterday :)
We were very lacklustre - A real chance lost as everybody
involved last season knows how good a day out the final was
We all know we weren't good enough, we're not kids so people
shouldn't have to be shouted at to get a response
Wednesday is a big training session. People need to show there
desire again otherwise a promising start to the season can go
down the toilet very quickly
Peterlee Chilla this week in the league so the perfect chance to
get back to winning ways.
Come on lads , lets pick ourselves up, learn from our mistakes
and show what we can do

Totally agree with robbo, too much twisting, not enough heart.
Gibbo will sort it out im sure. People will have to start
performing or find themselves out of the squad im sure with the
amount of players we have at the min willing to fight for
places.

For me it was as if we had been on a crazy session the night
before. People were running about like they hadn't got a clue,
too much laziness, not enough discipline (formation and tracking
men) and people thinking they're worldies, trying to skip past
people. It may happen once or twice but they click on to it then
continue to make ya look shite.
Once we went 4/4/2 and kept it simple that's when people started
to play, we looked a little more direct (instead of this tippy
tappy shit) and created a couple of chances but it never
happened. We we're 3-0 down and so we're our heads.
We thought we had this won before the ref blew for kick off.
lets give our heads a shake. Bounce back and start performing
like we can, making sure that results prove just how good we
are.
I <3 MALLARD FC
ps i've got £5 on us winning a cup this season @10/1. if we can
do it JARS ALL ROUND xx

anyone can have a bad game but unfortunately alot of people had
a bad game on the same day, i cant avoid blame, first goal was
totally my fault, stuck in 2 minds punch or catch, got stuck in
between and done niether but at the same time i made 6 saves and
sinky cleared a couple off the line before that so maybe we
could have changed something to ease the pressure but its easy
to say now.
as for next game i think we need dan up top and paul in
midfield, it worked so well for us last season . dans got that
attitude not to give up and paul is probablys our best passer on
his day. defensively i think we are solid.
as for attitudes of players that needs to improve , back
chatting and arguing doesnt help us as a team and to be honest
its embarasing watching us argue like kids, and its alright
being on the sidelines barking orders and at times utter
bollocks its different when your playing, its mixed msges , one
persons shouting one thing and someone else something completely
different. in my eyes dan has picked turney as a vice manager
and macca when hes there, thats the only real people we should
be getting advice from, the rest should be just giving the man
on shout, or time if needed.
im a 30 year old playing in a pub football team not 13 in a
neighbourhood football team,so i think we could all look at how
we played and how we can improve, i myself no how good i can be
and sunday i showed flashes of how good i can be but i also
showed a careless error,
so i know what i am going to do to improve, do you ???????

As a team and performance we never turned up and its cost us,
but gotta dust ourselves off n make sure we put it right
starting the next game and make sure we win the next semi.
Everyone knows what they did rong so its down to urself to put
it rite like burns sed.
That aside the attitude of some people stinks for a few reasons
and needs to change, i will adress these issues in person next
time we all together and explain wat im talking bout

I sort of agree with what your saying Bursey about the sidelines
but then in other ways not. I scream and shout things every week
to help the team there's times we would be silent on and off the
pitch if I didn't. I tell people what I see is going wrong. I
don't shout things to steal there place or get them to do the
wrong things I shout because I'm trying to help out. 9/10 times
I'm not wrong. Watching people not track men and not help each
other out is the most frustrating thing to watch on a Sunday
morning especially if you don't even get in the squad. We all
want us to win regardless of who plays and that should come
across from the sideline.

No need to go into detail about it cos everyone knows why we
lost. They wanted it more than us, it's that simple.
It is really frustrating being left out and seeing us play like
that Robbo, you're right, but you're in the squad more often
than not so I dunno what you're getting at with that one.
Summit needs to change for next week otherwise Chilla will beat
us as well, they're in good form.
