Times this sunday
By: biggibbo Date: November 22, 2012, 2:25 am

Right lads training last nite was poor for our standards
football wise, people nt doin the simple things enough nd it
showed, at all times we need to keep in tht mentality Nd get
into good habits so like last sunday we can apply it on the
pitch Nd dominate. Taking last week into account and last nites
training what would ur starting 11 and 5bench be?

Fiesty one you are starting this. Your not allowed ha!!!
First of all I'm disappointed about not being playing the whole
time. I cramped up in one calf then the other I need to sort it
but I was enjoying training.
I thought in spells training was alright people were doing the
right things but there were lots of occasions when people were
not. It still amazes me how often people don't scream for the
ball or communicate with each other and at times peoples
movement is non exsistant. When I was on the bibs team Turnbull
kept running across the back pulling me across the back leaving
massive holes in behind that people wern't using. The thing that
pisses me off most is though people not just bouncing the ball
off a man and getting it straight back. We've got to be
comfortable giving men the ball who ask for it when they know
there under pressure. Jakka was a perfect example last night
Dan(of all people) was tight on his back he still asked for the
ball got it, held Dan off and popped it off (he was never going
to be able to keep the ball for long but he dint need to) We
don't seem to do that enough. Johnny does it well (not the
popping off bit mind!!!) Tilla and a few others are comfortable
having the ball in those situations and we need to use it more
and support them.
Anyway that's enough of a waffle from me. Think we were
reasonable last week but think there could/should be a couple of
changes. I thought we did alright at the back but certainly
weren't perfect but not sure you can change a back 4 that kept a
clean sheet!
...........Burns............
Sinky/Moo/Grey/Leon
..........Jakka.............
....Dan/Lee/Hally.......
......Tilla/Johnny........
Me (this has to be the first time in months I haven't picked
myself!)
Anth
Clucker
Andy
Paul
Picking the bench is harder than picking the team. I've shirked
out of it by presuming Matty and Kev are going with Ian :)
I know Ian said he's not there Maccas obviously a crock and
Zander is MIA is anyone else missing. Matty & Kev are you going
with Ian?
Feel a bit harsh on Kev as didnt think he did anything wrong on
Sunday but I just couldn't leave Johnny out.

Same team as robbo but i would go me and jonny up front, i dont
think ive played up front with jonny n i think it would b a
physical frontline with a good workrate , feel like im starting
to become more decisive in front of goal scoring in training and
games and think me n jonny might b a good option. Heard the
midfield three of dan hally n lee bossed it last week so i
wouldnt change that. If we start physical and fast from the off
n then get a comftable lead then the likes of tilla and paul can
come on to slow the game down n hold up play (scholes and giggs
type of play :). )

I wasn't there last week but based on the fact that we got a
good result against a team that always give us a tough game, I
wouldn't expect too many changes
I enjoyed training last night , good to dust off some of the
cobwebs. Overall I agree though the football at times wasn't
simple enough. As Robson said people need to always want the
ball and keep on their toes making an option for their teammate.
At times people stand in silence or all just run away from the
ball.
And as for the idiot who put the ball on the roof !!!
As far as a team goes for Sunday - I have heard a rumour that
sinky might be missing unless he gets over a knock but I might
be wrong, Ian is away and Macca is injured
Based on this I would go for:
Burns - First choice
Moo - RB- His best position
Leon - LB - I know its not his favourite position but he can
play anywhere on the left
Gray - CB for me is his best position
Me - CB - With a few people missing I am backing myself to play
here.
Jacka - DM - Protecting the defence
Lee - CM - Can dictate the pace of the game
Andy - RM - I think Andy is better from deep and can add a bit
of steel into midfield
Hally - LM - Looked back to his best the last couple of weeks
AM - Dan - Play in the hole allowing him to float but hopefully
get forward and support the striker as often as possible
Str - Jonny - Looks over his injury and for me is our best
attacking option
Subs
Kev
Tilla
Anth
Robson
Clucker

I'm not gonna base it on training cos if I did, I'd never play
again, I was stinkin! Ha.
Scrappy team performance last week n I think we should keep it
near enough the same.
Burnsy
Moo Paul Gray Leon
Jacka
Dan Lee Hally
Jonny me
Think Paul would be fine at the back against these and he'll
play it out from the back, plus with Gray in there with him
he'll keep him right.
Jonny is too good to leave out and I think the pair of us would
cause them all kinds of problems. Jonny holds it up class and
it's so easy playing next to him and running off him.
Feel harsh on Matty cos he's looked better recently and only
left Tills out for myself.
Whatever side we put out we should have enough to get the win
but we can't take them lightly, they'll be up for it.

Bursney
Moo,Ian,Grey,Leon
Jacka
Gibbo,Lee,Me
Johnny, Tilla
Pretty much same team as last week but bringing Ian, moving moo
back to his natural position, nothing against Kev i think he
done what he was asked last week but Johnny, Till 2 strong lads
holding the ball up for me, gibbo and lee to run onto would be
an awsome attack force which was shown last week it simply just
works :)
jacka last week play just behind us and cleaned up anything that
broke his wall and again he would relish to get stuck into
brimmer again if he gets a chance :)
anyway sorry to the lads iv missed out but thats what I would go
wit

Can your read hally?
No Ian!
As there's no stinky either I'd put Dan at Cb (he scored two
from here last time we played these) move Moo to Rb opening a
space in CM for.............moi!!!!
That worked out well!!!
