cup game review

not a bad game today even with the defeat, i feel we played
well as a unit, and created plenty of chances , comunication was
key today, and we were unlucky with a couple of them goals ,
maybe i should have done better with a couple of them but its
easy to say now.
dan going off changed the game, he had that hunger in him
today, although grey coming on was a big plus for us, he won
most in the air had a couple of decent headers on target, i
really think we are a better team with grey in it.
our defence was really composed and solid with plenty of talking
and comunication, good working hard midfield and jonny up top
again worked his arse off.
well done anyways, was still a good performance in my view.

well it was certainly a better performance than the Hearts game,
if theres games to be beat then we shouldnt mind the odd cup
defeat, we all wanna win every game we play but it's hard to do
so, cant be disheartened by this.
I thought there was a good passing rythem in the first half and
unlucky to go in 2-1 down but i think we should just take it on
the chin, was a good improved peroformance all round, enjoyed my
run out aswell hopefully we get some league games to get some
good points on the board.
thought Lee was head and shoulders our best player today, making
that midfield role his own.

Thought they were there for the taking and think we should be a
bit disappointed not to have won. We had plenty chances and
didn't take them. As soon as they went 3-1 up it knocked us a
bit.
Thought Lee had a cracking game and Dan took his goal well but I
feel sorry for Jonny. He ran his arse off and held it up well
but got no support.
Disappointed to miss out personally but never mind, on to next
week and hopefully get back to winning ways.

Thought we were brilliant first half some of our passing was
excellent. A couple of silly goals but these things happen and
on another day we could of had a hat full. Thought we were
really quiet once Dan had gone off and it killed us a little
bit.
Lee was MOM and I thought Sinky looked better than in recent
weeks as well as Dan looking much better.
Roll on training and next Sunday

As a collective performance it was top drawer, you could really
see some of the things coming across from training.
In the light of day I am a little disappointed that we didnt win
but that speaks volumes for how far we have come as a team when
we can give good premier league sides a really good game. On a
personal note is was good to get 75 minutes under my belt, I
enjoyed the different positions and could get used to playing on
the wing with a little more practice, I felt a little rusty
after nearly a month without competitive football though.
I thought Lee was excellent, Johnny continued his good form and
was unlucky to not get a few goals. Dan seemed to be back at
full steam before his injury and took his goal really well, I
agree we seemed to lose a bit of something when he went off and
our ball retention in the second half wasn't as good as the
first.
All in all though a good team performance - plenty of positives
and plenty of confidence to take in to the next game - Away
against Belmont
I'm not there on Weds cos I'm away with work most of this week
so I'll be hitting the gym
