massive improvement last night and i dont think the result went
the way it should have, we played the better football and had
the better chances they just got the luck on the night. Overall
though everyone put a shift in and we went back to basics and
when we played simple passing we walked through them, plenty of
positives to take into the next couple of games and i am sure we
will get the right results in the next couple of weeks. Not
going to put individual performances because i think last night
we had about 17 or 18 ppl who got a game, give a couple of
mentions to some of the starting 11 and subs though, johnny
grafted well and got in there faces all half looked really good,
kev took his goal well, moo moo was best player in the 1st half
for me sinky did well again tills got about really well and dan
put plenty of big tackles in, out of the subs i think everyone
brought something to the game but robbo hally andy and matty all
did well when they got the chance and i think paul looked back
to his best last night which cant be good news for me since i
looked way off the pace ha. See how we get on sunday but i cant
see the result not going our way if we continue to make the
progress we were showing last night

Thought we were good. Didnt deserve to get beat but pre seasons
not about results and we played well. 352 worked and will work
better if we get a more settled team as the season goes on. I
think the squad feels loads stronger than last year not just new
players but the players who were a bit hit and miss last year
seem to have up'ed it a bit and everyone seems to be better than
last year. We still have el Capitain, Ian????, Lee, Macca all to
come back as well considering they were all starters if fit last
year things are looking good.
Our passing in spells was excellent. Sinky took two games to
find his feet when he signed and I dont think he has had a bad
game yet (still scored two OG's like) Thought Andy did well to
get plenty of chances, Hally was beating people again, Matty did
well at wing back, Elvsey had a good game and Paul Mac looked
100% sharper than he did at the weekend.
All in all a good performance I think and roll on Sunday.

Big improvement and didn't deserve to get beat.
We had plenty chances to put them away and didn't take them but
it'll come.
I think the formation suits us and it'll work much better once
there's a settled team playing in it. We were rock solid
defensively and I thought the 3 at the back were quality.
Jacka did well for his first game back as well, didn't shy away
from any tackles and got about the pitch plenty.
2nd half I thought Hally and Matty did really well. Hally was
taking the piss out of them and Matty was putting some quality
balls into the box.
Looks like everyone's enjoying it and putting the graft in.
Looking forward to Sunday.

cheers for the possoitives lads, I only managed to make the
second half yesterday but I thought getting there and at least
playing some part was the most important thing,
I got there just as kev scored last night and it was a decent
strike well done mate.
When the game was 2-1 i thought we looked very good passing was
sharp and we held our positions when we needed to defend all in
all lads 3-2 against them isnt too bad as we have to remember
they are a league above us and they finished mid table as far as
I can remember.
Well done lads and looking forward to sunday already!

Great performance by everyone last night in my opinion. 3-5-2
defo works, and the passing was spot on. I think we need to be a
bit more clinical in front of goal, but im sure it will
come.Need to just keep pushing on now and be confident for the
season.

I agree with all comments made already,passing was excellent
last night in my opinion, movement from everyone was great also.
I was just sorry i couldnt finish off the chances i had, but im
not gunna let it get to me and i see alot of positives from
managing to get into those positions in the first place, so il
keep my head up and take it into sunday. If we play like we did
against those last night against the times we should get a
result, but we cannot take this for granted, they have a few new
players and will b a harder team to best than last year. Was
nice to see jacka back in action last night and i thought robbo
and sinky did well.like robbo said, everyone seems to have
improved their game so it makes dans team choices even harder
when the season starts.few issues with fitness last night as i
heard one or two players saying they were fucked, this is
something these players need to improve in their spare time or i
think they will struggle to get into the team

We're only half way through pre-season to be fair, Andy.
Still plenty time for people to get their fitness up in training
and friendlies before the season starts.

Aye true mate,but its in peoples best interest to do some in
spare time aswell now competition getting better mate,well in my
opinion anyway. ;)
