Next Season

Ive been having a look on the leagues website and they have
already put up the opening days fixtures for next season - I
know these may change but thought it might be a good place to
start a conversation
According to the site we are playing Peterlee Central away, if I
remember rightly these have tended to be our bogey team, I think
we drew 5-5 and then lost at home after being in the lead
against them ? - if this is right then it's a good chance to get
off to a good start against what were an average side at best.
Also it looks like only two sides got promoted which means
Horden Comms and Belmont are still in our league with only one
new side Hearts FC + the two relegated sides Seaham Marlborough
and Peterlee Town meaning another 14 club league . Looking at
the teams there are no real standout sides this year and we
really should be looking to dominate this league as apart from
the George last year we were never second best against anyone
really.
What do people think?

this our third season where we have had changes in the squad
like personel etc. but for me whats killed us recently is the
hunger towards wanting to win after the final, non existent just
like Sunderland perhaps in the final stages of the season got
beat off Everton in the cup then that was it, no hunger....signs
havent been great pre season either with low numbers etc. sunday
was back to it's best like with good numbers and a really
enjoyable session.
i think this season it should be a relaxed approach to the
season, no pressure on ourselves type of thing, nee shit
attitude this year either, sunday league football's an enjoyable
thing, simply get fit enjoy pre season try to motivate yourself
to the best you can hopefully it just all comes together.
good team spirit is key!!

We shouldn't be scared of playing anyone but I think we got a
bit over confident half way through last season and it cost us.
I agree with Leon, I think we should concentrate on getting fit
and enjoying it again then seeing where we are once the season
starts. We know how good we can be on our day.
Numbers so far have been abysmal but Sunday was quality - really
enjoyed it.
