well i didnt exactly help things by gifting them the goal
before half time to make it 2 - 2.
just thing the final ball just wasnt quite there today, and for
all we scored a few i dont think we tested there keeper enough,
he seemed very flappy so maybe encourage some of the lads to
take a more direct approach and shoot from distance.
they did it today and it nearly whent in, was a rocket, so maybe
the likes of paul, leon hally and dan should think more in that
way,

Were a long way from our best. Not enough passing to feet,
talking is non existent and we look scared to tackle!!! Many
times today we should have won tackles in different areas and we
bottled it. That's how ya get hurt. Gotta be firm and stop pussy
footing around. Also diving in at stupid times is costing us. No
one following runners at all is another problem. Yes its gunna
be looked at different views from the likes of paul and grey but
from my view from a centre half that's how a see it. The back 4
can only do so much in a game. Individual battles not being won
or nowt. We neeed to get some confidence back and start winning
games or we'll not get anywhere. Sounds stupid after scoring 3
but were not hitting the target enough. Wasted good chances when
we get them so improvement all over is needed. Sooner were back
on the field the better! Anyway rant ower cas corrie is on. Tra.

My shots don't test the keeper unless you mean test his patience
with the amount of times he has to go and get the ball back

I do agree with zander, from the sideline the only thing i can
see is that the same fight doesnt seem to be there that was
there when we were winning. People not chasing down balls, not
getting stuck into challenges and generally seeming quite
scared, scared to challenge and scared to shoot. I dont know why
this has came about recently, wether its people becoming too
comftable in the team and not trying or something else, not sure.

take into account the pitch today it was difficult, they played
direct and got a lot of joy i think because they used there
heads and 75% of the time they hitted it long, maybes we should
of done that a bit more (not all the time) just a bit more
that's how Tilla's goal came then we stopped doing it, and the
first half when i had that chance it would of been a awful
attempt cos it was bobbling all owa, shame about Dan's effort at
the end which would of made it 4-4 really unlucky that, just
wasnt our day today but i thought it was an improvment from last
week which in my eyes was the worst of the season, probably the
reason we were better today is that our attitude was better and
there was encouragment more than shouting at each other (yes i
was the biggest culprit of this last week but am mental cunt)
haha
we have Shotton Royal George next week and it's gunna be hard
because by the league table there very decent so i think
descipline and keeping it tight is key and the big characters
stepping it up that bit more

Yes we are playing Chilla this week in the semi final so plenty
to look forward to
Yesterday I think there were a lot of positives, on a bad pitch
in bad conditions we played some good football at times and
created a few chances . If we had gone in at half time ahead I
think it would have been a different story and again who knows
if we had got it back to four four. I think Dan was back to his
old self at times yesterday , really causing problems further up
the pitch, burnsy made some great saves and Tilla showed some
great touches and a good finish when he came on.
On the down side we didn't press them enough, I agree with
Zander , they had too much time on the ball in the midfield and
were allowed to pick their passes. I will hold my hand up and
say that yesterday we made it too easy for them and didn't use
the ball well enough when we got it ( Their 4th goal was
completely my fault , I held the ball for too long and ended up
giving it back to them ) also the final ball was poor, I had the
chance a number of times to play people in and I picked out the
defender time after time, so sorry lads.
But I think it will change for the better, maybe we make to many
changes and need to stick with a formation and a starting XI for
a few weeks and give the team time to gel or maybe the answer is
wholesale changes across the pitch?
I think there are enough positives to show we are still a good
side, we just need to start doing the easy things more often.
Following runners, playing the simple pass, battling for every
ball, taking more shots, and taking our chances when they come
along
So heads up lads, at least you haven't woken up this morning
with big blue stitches in your chin
Sunday is a new start, let's get back to basics and get into the
final

take into account the pitch was terrible maybe the worst we have
played on all season, standing on the side lines it was pretty
frustrating for me to watch this game I could see the distance
between defence and midfield and midfield to dan.. when we where
winning all the times these spaces where alot closer together
and we worked a lot better as a team.. we need to get this
rythem going again if we want to win anything this season..
starting from sunday eh?
I would like to think that when I come on I give them somthing
different to worry about up front. playing on the last man give
dan more space to work with and at 4-3 i think we had the
momentum to possible get the draw if not the win.. dan was
though keep saved it and I was there for the rebound but hitting
the post sent the ball the other way and the defender got back
and blocked it.. chances like that would have fell our way at
other time..
also I would like to point out that when I come on and I had a
snap shot straight away which was shit in all fairness people
where telling me to keep my chin up and forget about it.. thats
the way we should be thinking and not shouting at people for
shooting so cheers boys
