Can't say I fully agree Robbo. Dan would do a job in CM because
he is a good all round player, but he would be wasted at CM.
I agree that when we don't have a full squad, then it would
perhaps make sense to put him in there because of the physical
presence he provides, but it's a far stretch to say he's a
better CM than CF.
Someone who scores as much as Dan and is as much of a threat as
he is, playing in CM he would do a job but it's not his natual
position, and I think that shows when he plays there. Not that
he plays badly, but I think if you compare his form playing in
the middle to his form as a forward, they don't even compare
because of how good he is up top.
We all have our opinions like, none of which REALLY matter haha
but as long as we are winning we can play Burns at centre back
for all I care ;)

No mate Burnsy is not allowed out of his cage! I mean Box.
I dunno mate how many games have you seen him play CM compared
to CF. He probably wouldnt score as many goals but thats not
what Im getting at. In our team he has a much bigger impact
upfront but if we had another striker who scored goals for fun I
think hed be as good if not better in the middle.
The more I think about it I might be wrong but he scored 2 when
he played CB the other week so he scores wherever he plays. Its
a shame his shit stinks really!

haha i know robbo mate reading it back its came out more
personal than i intended but the point i was getting at is most
of us have seen dan in cm last season and its in my opinion that
he was wasted there like matty has said he can do a job there
because he is a tank of a man haha but he can do a job at cb
aswell like u mentioned, that just shows he is an all round
player but just to take a look at his goals tells u he belongs
up top (enough kissing the managers arse now though i cant play
for weeks so its all going to waste haha) and i agree with what
people are saying about being inform with regards to hally and
what not and i am the first to say when people deserve a run of
games and i couldnt agree more that anth has been brilliant but
with sinky signing and the quality he can bring to a game its a
headache for dan because for me anth would be wasted on the
wing, plenty of graft and many tackles but that bit flair and
final ball that hally can have on his day is missing in him,
like i said before though im not looking to cause an issue ha
was just reading it and thought it was a sick joke that u
thought dan would be better in midfield haha i think your rite
though robbo i do need to get out the house im going to end up
pissing someone off at this rate ha

oh and if we are looking for an option in cm with no me or gray
(if he isnt fit sunday) then look no further than macca if he is
fit, would be much better here than at lb i think and then that
leaves dan free to play just infront of the midfield which keeps
us both happy mate ;) haha

Last season Dan played quite a few games at CM and everyone kept
telling him he's a better forward. Once he moved up top he was
class and scored for fun.
I see what you're trying to say Robbo but Dan is our main source
of goals, so why move him from where he's at? Defenders are shit
scared of him and often double up on him so it makes the space
for others. He couldn't do that from midfield.
On Hally, he might not have been at his best in the last couple
of games but if he keeps getting picked, he must be doing
something right. Bit harsh picking him out lads.

We not being harsh,he knows he's a good player and so do we.its

at the risk of opening up a new arguement here il throw in that
if we are dropping people on form after one game then dare i say
it but dan is as much at risk as hally after last week ha it
sounds stupid and people will look and think seriously but both
players had chances and neither scored so are we know all going
to say lets drop dan he didnt score? i doubt it lads haha
another point i can make is earlier in the season alot of people
were giving paul lots of grief but dan stuck with him and his
best form is coming through now, u cant continue to judge people
on 1 or 2 games when u know the ability they have, i agree a
team should be picked on form but after last week with a few
exceptions it wasnt our best match so not everyone was at there
best last week and that was there for everyone to see, so coming
on here and singling hally out for not being on form seems harsh
when u could name a handfull of players to be dropped if thats
the case but nobody else was. again sorry if im annoying people
but ive got nothing better to do haha and good point zander mate
:)

Anyone who isn't on form shud be dropped if ya think some one
could come in and replace them,in dans case he's our best
player.always has been probs always will b therfore is
irreplacable,his out of form performances are probs better than
mosts inform!
