I thought for a first game in a month we didn't do to bad, if it
wasn't for there goalkeeper it would have been double figures
and that's not including our other missed chances. We played
some nice football at times but think it was a little flat and
no where near enough talking (apart from zander who must have
won the title from Gray now ;)
Personally I think Gray was a little lost and adds more to the
game when playing in midfield but that might come with a few
games up there as he still grabbed a goal
Personally ok with own performance today should have scored at
least one and at times had so much time that I ended up taking
too long but again may be down to rustiness but it was good to
be back out there again
I thought Gibson obviously took his hat trick well and zander
looked strong, Burnsy took some good crosses and looked rock
solid but I am going for Anth for mom, he wins every header and
is always talking and for somebody so obviously right footed he
looks very comfortable on the left
So through to another Semi Final but a huge league game on
Sunday at Wingate
Chance for revenge after our worst performance probably as a
team against them last time, 3 pts to maintain our promotion
push and looking forward to a successful 2012
Have fun at training and I'll see you all on Sunday

Dont think it was our best performance but we got the job done.
Rusty was a good way to describe us. Thought that the back four
were all pretty decent, Paul had a good game but ive gone for
Dan he missed a few chances and wasnt his best game but got a
hatrick!!!

Could have should have been double figures! Their keeper did
nothing special either apart from save everything that was
straight at him. Better finishing in future is needed because if
that was against better opposition we could have been in
trouble. Thought we kept the ball well in spells and defended
ok. Created millions of chances though so there's a bit
positivity from me!
Anth martin mom tho cas he won everything! Looked a solid left
back.

ive went for ian for mom thought he looked solid at the back and
never really looked in any danger of them creating a chance,
although there was a decision that could of went against him
with the pull on the shirt ha but both him and zander looked the
part again and i cant think of anything that troubled us at
apart from the lucky goal from the corner that they got.
As for people (zander ;) haha) saying chances were wasted and
the keeper only saved what was straight at him i think thats a
little harsh because of all the keepers we have came against he
was one of the better ones, i will admit i should have scored
alot more by now so i can appologise for that and try again but
i think people are rite in what there saying we never really hit
our best standard which is something we need to make sure we do
against the bigger teams, but at the same time we still created
a hell of alot of chances and never looked uncomfortable at all
i think burnsey was limited to catching long balls and crosses
which shows we were never in any danger so that can be taken as
a positive because it shows even when we arent playing to our
full potential we still got a comfortable result with plenty of
chances and a solid defensive performance at the same time which
if we are to continue challenging near the top is something we
will have to keep doing on a consistant basis.
I think anth deserves alot of praise aswell because he has shown
again he wil listen to everything he is asked to do and never
shys away from a header or a challenge and really put in a great
shift yesterday, i think dan showed signs that he is going to
continue his great form he was in before the xmas break and the
hatrick capped of a really good game for him. Paul looked like
he was comfortable on the ball and really eager to be creating
and some of his passing was brilliant which sometimes goes
unnoticed but when your playing along side him u notice it alot
more so if that continues it will benifit the strikers alot in
the coming weeks. Gray looked lively and got himself a goal
which is all that could of been asked for him playing in a new
role for the first time so well done mate. I have mention zander
and ian were brilliant again, jimbob played well linking up with
dotty brilliantly again which is promising, hally never stopped
running and showed a less selfish side being on the wing which i
should of took advantage of but i am as composed infront of goal
as heskey ha. I think all the subs got involved as best they
could and all looked sharp and got into the game straight away
with kev really unlucky not to have been given his goal, think i
have covered everyone in that now :). So i think it was a good
first result back and a nice way to go into a tougher game this
weekend knowing what we need to improve on and how we can get
the results against any team aslong as we fight for it :D Speech

Haway jacka a could have played in goal and saved just as much!
Not saying we were shite just we should have scored another 10
if we weren't smashing them straight at him haha!!

haha yeah there was a few straight at him but he was still a
better keeper than alot of the ones we have played against this
season ha and if certain people could take a decent freekick
things might of ended different haha ;) im not even getting into
it mate or my chances i have missed this season will be brought
into it and that could go on all week ha

I;ve gone for Jacka, I think this was the best I've seen him
play.
I'm pleased we played them first though as we were'n't at our
best (especially me!) however I think Dan was right to try out
new positions in these types of games where we should be more
comfortable. alright it didn't work but at least I now know i'm
a shit forward and also got quite restless as i'm used to having
the ball a lot more. I think I even prefered defence!!!!! with
Ian!!!!!
good games also for Dan and the defence who looked solid.
Looking forward to next week now
Even if it might be as a sub!

Grey ya weren't that bad. Coming from me ya should be ower the
moon with that anarl because am a right miserable bastard!! Is
it wrong to demand perfection ? Looking from a defensive point
of view, hopefully ian can back this up, when we create so much
and miss so many chances it gets frustrating as fuck for us at
the back! Very little credit goes to the back 4 for last ditch
tackles or crucial interceptions. Its all about the killer pass
or the perfect goal. Ano its only sunday league but so! Winning
mentality is kicking right off here like along with the time of
me month! Haha rant ower.

Gray you're being a bit hard on yourself. You had a decent game
and got your goal. It's not an easy position to play when you're
not used to it.
I can see where Zander's coming from like, we probably should
have scored a few more, but at least we're getting chances. Last
season we weren't creating half as much. Keep making chances and
the goals will come, unless Jacka's on the end of them ;) haha.
Like others have said though, it was good to play a weaker team
for the first game back to shake off the rust. Hopefully get a
some revenge on these cunts on Sunday cos we were minging
against them last time.
