Starting 11 Vz Ashdown

right lads, Im not sure if Dan is just going to play the same
team as he would have when they bottled playing us the last time
so I thought I would get this up and running again
Also gives the likes of me, robo and paul something to do while
we are at work lol
what would your starting 11 be and why?

Was just about to put this up.
Is everyone there Sunday???? Im presuming Lee and Macca are
still crocked but im probably wrong!!!

Really want to go out and batter these so attacking formation
Burnz-Speaks for itself
JimBob-Been excellent here but dont know if hes even fit
Ian/Zander-been our most consistant pair in this possition
Leon-I think he was playing really well here before x mas
Jakka/Grey/Paul- all compliment each other Jakka to run about
for the old men, Paul to provide and Grey to lead
Me- Was playing well before x mas and thought I did well in the
tournament got to put myself in!!! (if I wasnt fit before x mas
there is no hope now!!!!!0
Dan-I would like to see Dan playing CM to make sure he is fully
used but there are plenty who play in there and he scores for
fun!!!
Dotty- Best tecnical player on the team and will embarass these
this week.
Probably harsh to change the team that was picked when it was
called off but ive done it. Was thinking of my team and kept
realising id left players out. If Lee and Macca are fit they
should play.....where I dont know. Most of the lads ive left out
have been playing well aswell hard to pick a team from our squad
at the min..............
Cant wait for Sunday!!!!

Based on form before christmas and if i am remembering the team
dan had in mind for the game against these i would stick with
the same 11 but with macca picking up an injury last week i
would bring jimbob in for him which would make my team a 4-4-2
with
Burnsey
Jimbob Ian Zander Anth
Dotty Me Paul Hally
Dan Gray
Burnsy - speaks for itself
Jimbob - would always be difficult to choose between him and
macca at rb but based on how well he links up with dotty and his
form before christmas he would have gotton the nod for me
regardless of macca's fitness (although macca would of had a
place somewhere in my team seeing as he always plays well
whenever and wherever he plays)
Ian - solid since the start of the season and the partnership
between him and zander has been brilliant
Zander - looked like a new player this year really stepped up
and i think the signing of ian has benifited him more than
anyone
Anth - leon could easily come back in at lb because he was
playing well before xmas break but anth filled in with people
missing in his last game and played really well never stopped
running and listened to everything he was asked to do deserves a
run of games if he can keep that form up
Dotty - again with jimbob behind him they link up probably
better than anyone in the team and against a team like ashdown
he can really put a stamp on the game nice and early and cause
plenty of problems
Me - i just want to play :D
Paul - had started to hit the form everyone has been calling out
for and again like dotty this could be a game he can take
control of and play a big part in the result
Hally - work rate is shining through this season and had a
blinder of a game against these last time so can see a similar
outcome on sunday
Dan - scoring for fun this season and has added assists to his
game this year aswell and again like hally had a screamer of a
game against these last time so wouldnt be suprised to see more
goals from him sunday
Gray - if he ends up playing uptop it is something new for him
this season but he has shown more than anyone with his form this
season that he is comfortable enough infront of goal to cope and
with both dan and him up there to win the headers there should
be plenty of chances dropping to the 4 in midfield to gamble and
get a chance at goal
just my opinions and probablys way of the mark come sunday
seeing as people are really stepping up there game lately and
with people performing well in training and at last weeks
tournament anyone could step in come sunday. the likes of matty
robbo kev andy rossi all will be waiting for there chance and
have to mention the fitness of robbo and rossi has really
started to show so well done lads :) and obviously with the
likes of lee and macca they are to good to be left out so theres
another headache for dan when they are back to full fitness.
Lets just make sure we start the year on a high and get a win to
take us into that semi final :D see yas sunday lads

Tough one this week.
Burnsy
Jim, Ian, Zander, Leon
Dotty, Paul, Me, Jacka, Hally
Dan
Feel a bit harsh on people like Anth,Robson who have worked
really hard to get back to fitness (however it's not going
unnoticed) but the squad is really strong now. Therefore I would
start with this formation as I feel its hard to judge on only
two games that Jacka, Paul and myself have played together in
the centre of midfield. If this isn't working then I could move
up top with Dan, however with regards the team I would look to
give players who have been waiting patiently on the sidelines a
go maybe at half time to give them enough time to impress.

I wud leave the team as the same team dan picked last time
against these bottlers,hope yas have a good game lads,gutted I
wnt b there 2mora cos of work ,cyas next week :)
