Half Season Predictions

seeing as there hasnt been any crack on here in days thought
would start a thing of similar to burnseys post the other day,
only instead of best goals or performances try and get everyone
to have a go and give there predictions on who will win what
come the end of season awards. If i remember rightly last year
we had a player of the season, players player, managers player,
most improved, most assists, top goalscorer and sportsman. So
with that in mind who would be winning what if form continues
from the first half of the season or who can anyone see stepping
up and putting there name in the hat for certain awards, il have
a go first and go for
Player of the season - last year i think it was most man of the
matches who won this award so based on who has won it and how
many times so far i would have to say it will be between paul
and dan
Players player - many people can still walk away with this
because there are players giving it there all week in week out
but so far on current form i would give it to grey, since he was
made captain he has stepped his game up and is scoring goals to
add to his game and really is having a great season up to now
Managers player - not really for us to say but again i am sure
plenty of people are impressing dan this year so will use this
as another players player and would say jimbob, at first wasnt
to sure about him but after a couple of games and seeing him on
the right he really impressed and has continued to up till now,
his link up play with dotty has been brilliant and the freekicks
he can pull out of the bag will always manage to come in handy
Most improved - zander hands down for me, i would of gave him
players player up till now but through work he has missed a few
more games then he will of liked but still cant take anything
away from his performances and i havent seen him put a bad
performance in once this year definatly stepped up his game more
than others and looks like he has built a solid partnership with
ian at the back
Most assists - dan is adding assists aswell as goals this year,
paul is up there supplying again but i can see hally nicking it
come the end of the season, depending on formations and how we
line up in certain games i think if he is used from the left he
will pip paul to the award to make up for last season when paul
took it in the last couple of games
Top goalscorer - hard to see any other winner than dan at this
point but if greys form continues he might be able to leave dan
dissapointed come the end of the season but at the minute i have
to say it will be dan winning this award
Sportsman - this award last year was based on overall attitude
to training, games, team selection and all other team matters so
at the minute i can see matty or rossi coming away with this
trophy cant remember eather missing a training session and never
hear eather of them complain about lack of games just keep there
heads down and try to take every chance they are given both have
a great attitude and have understood just how hard the squad
selection must be for dan this year so will say its between
those two and possibly anth aswell although i remember him
missing a couple more training sessions than eather of those two
just abit banter see if we can get more people to join in
instead of just 3 or 4 of us like on burnseys ha :)

i woulldn't argue with that Jacka mate,
Grey has been class this season and i can remember Zander last
season been on the bench and that, no confidence what so ever
and kept loosing posession constantly but now he has to be one
of the first names on the team sheet. massive figure in the team
on and off the pitch anar one thing.....the presentation will be
a good neet!!
