Mallard FC v Times Inn FC MOTM

Right lads,good game today and time to provide your feedback on
indervidual performances,team performance and your MOTM.
I thought as a team today we played some good football
considering it was a makeshift team,we pulled together really
well and just shows again how much strength in depth we have.
As for inderviduals I think ANTH was outstanding at the back
giving plenty of energy and not putting a foot wrong. JACKA was
also key in the middle of the park breaking up alot of the play
and getting stuck in had a great game. DAN at the back has to be
my MOTM though,he was out of position but still managed to grab
two goals and was an rock at the back,breaking was
fantastic,fast and strong and the times just didnt want to get
near him.
Only negative i will add is that i think we could have grabbed a
few more goals today if simple passes were played across the box
for people in better positions to score than trying to score
from impossible angles,its a team sport at the end of the
day,not about inderviduals and goal difference could really make
the difference at the end of the season.
But overall i think we played and looked well :)
Also a mention to the subs, well done kev and rossi for you
assist and goal and i was really impressed with robson,hold up
play was excellent and made sum great little effective passes
(just goes to show ya done need to grab people like ya normally
do ;)...great game lads)

I thought it was a poor game and it took us a while to get
going, but considering the changes we had to make, we did well
and never really looked like not winning. Burnsy had fuck all to
do bar a couple of shots straight at him. Good graft and some
canny football at times though so well done lads.
As for MotM, Dan and Jimbob were solid at the back but I thought
Jacka was quality again. They weren't the best side we've ever
played, but everything they tried to do in the middle he stopped
and ran his arse off.
Also thought Robbo did well when he came on. Kept things nice
and simple and held it up well. Well done mate ;)

am deverstated i missed this! had my alarm set and for some
reason it just didnt go off, apolgises to dan and the you lads
because i know we were short today especially defensively and me
sleeping in didnt help!
but well done to the lads that played nice to see a clean sheet
with about 1 defender available! ha
be back and raring to go on wednesday see yas there

Where where where wheres Paul Mac???? Took us a while to get
going and we lost a lot of shape towards the end but its little
wonder when the team was thrown together and everyone was so
rough. I think there was a few who could have been MOM Paul,
Jakka, Dan but im giving it to JimBob must have won 100 headers
and had to try and controll an untried defence. Thought Warren
and Anth did well considering they were thrown in.
Lets be honest we should be beating the Times and we were always
comfatable.
Good win
Well done lads and roll on next week!!!!!!!

It's not perfect but it will have to do. Now go get ready for
P.E, you better have remembered your kit !!!!!

Im going with jacka again for man of the match and pretty much
everyones said what happened we started off slow but gradgually
found some sort of level to beat them and although it was bish
bosh team just shows it aint no thing but a chicken wing baby
!!!!

I'll go with JimBob
Hardly put a foot wrong
I think I 'll agree with everybody else and say it was a case of
getting the job done yeaterday, not the prettiest of games but
still at times we did play some nice stuff and created alot of
chances.
The standout feature of yesterday was the effort. Everybody
really grafted and put in a shift. (My legs are definitely
hurting today, but i am old )
Special mentions for Jacka, you just never give up but I'm gonna
put a bell on you so I know where you've gone
Dan Looked like shit played alright I guess ;) - No, put in a
performance for the team and still got a couple of goals - man
you're just awesome if I wasn't married :)
Also the three subs all added to the game
Robson - Best game for you so far, loving the dragbacks :)
Kev - Kept it simple and put yourself about
Rossi - Showed good strength and movement to grab a goal (Our
50th in the league this season)
Not sure who's missing this week but as a squad again we showed
our strength
