No mate I dont think your bad at all. The last couple of weeks
has made me realise your one of if not our most important player
due to the way you controll the pace of the game and with your
positioning. You dont often lose the ball when its at your feet
only with the hollywoods (which I dont think you make that many)
PS. Your a twisty bastard, your pretty ugly, you smell and your
boring....this will give you a complex xxxxx

Robson I think you're confusing me with Gray :)
I welcome constructive criticism which is why I didn't like
being repeatedly told I wasn't playing as well as last year, If
you tell me why , then I can do something about it
In the same manner I wasn't fishing for compliments
I will be the first to admit that the first few weeks I
struggled, I had a disrupted pre season and my head wasn't in it
for a few external reasons and I considered leaving as I wasn't
helping the team on the pitch if anything my negativity was
dragging the team down.
I had a few words with Dan and got my head down and tried to
concentrate on the simple things which in my opinion I think I
have done
I will admit that now and again I will look for a pass that
seems ridiculous but when I see it I think it is makeable and
will create a chance for somebody so I try it
I am confident enough in my ability that I think i will make
every pass and score every shot (I have been proved to be wrong
in the past) but I would like to think that everybody goes onto
the pitch with that level of confidence and wants to try
something exciting.
Sorry If it feels like I was having a moan but it does start to
get to you when it is repeatedly said and I thought it best I
say something now than let it fester
So in the future just tell me
I'm a grown up I can deal with people's opinions, I won't agree
with you but you can still tell me ;)

I'm not putting a squad up, simply because I can't be arsed. But
I will say that I think we have enough quality in the squad to
pick more than one team and anyone who plays will do a job.
Robbo you're probably right about me and I've had a crack on
with Dan about it. I think I deserved to be dropped yesterday as
well.
Not getting involved as much is a confidence thing though,
sometimes I'm not keen on taking the ball for fear of ****ing
up and losing it etc. Confident enough in myself that I can get
into the team though, just need to work harder for it,
especially now with Hally hitting top form.
I also think people are a bit harsh on Paul sometimes. Still
hasn't quite got back to his best but he's getting there and on
his day is easily one of the best players I've ever played with.
Everyone is just so used to the standards he set last season.
Plus he's getting on a bit, give the old man a break ;)
P.S. Robbo telling Rossi he's nice and strong? That how you like
your men is it, Robbo?

i would agree with robbo, each game is different so u can always
have an attacking or defensive team and sometimes a mix of the
two, if we were going defensive i would go 4-5-1

Burnsey - best keeper in the our league for me
Jimbob - always looks comfortable on the ball and is another big
voice at the back
Ian/Zander - Ian has came in and looked solid alongside Zander
and the pair of them have formed a great partnership
Lee - been wanting to see lee at lb for a while and think he
looked comfortable on sunday
Me- people might not like me putting myself in my own team but
if i cant even name myself why would anyone else ? haha :)
Macca - like people have said to good a player to leave out and
last season played here a couple of times grabbing a goal if i
remember plus bags of energy to get up and down the wing
Paul - has taken stick from all of us this season me included
but everyone knows the quality he brings and can change a game
with one touch or one ball through
Gray - goes without saying he is now our in form player scored
in every league game for about the last 8 and has really lead by
example since being made captain
Hally not just me who has mentioned it but his work rate has
gone to a new level this season and is starting to get on the
score sheet again aswell which shows both his attacking and
defensive qualities
Dan - again a no brainer top scorer and up there in the assists
aswell always a threat and be stupid to leave him out of the
team
Bench
Andy - probably his best attribute is he can get stuck into
people so in a defensive line up having him to come on and get
stuck into the other defence is a plus
Robbo - once the fitness comes can see him being a top player
has shown already he can read the game and has a great
footballing brain so be a nice option to come on
Leon - always a threat going forward but has the bite needed
when games are scappy and challenges are there to be made
Anth - again full of energy wont stop running and for me the
games he has played full back have been when he how well he can
play for us
Rossi - hard to knock of the ball and in a tough pyshical game
out of the other strikers u would argue he could be the best
option to bring on to hold up the ball just needs to pass more
and can start to show us what he can do
For the more attacking games i would switch to 4-4-2

Dotty Paul Gray Leon
Dan Hally
Bench
Kev
Matty
Warren
Me
Macca
only really changed leon and dotty in attacking formation so
only need to say for the starting 11 dotty back onto the right
because he showed yesterday he can control the game and on his
day is probably our best player with the ball at his feet,
fitness levels are alot better and if he can get a decent run of
games at the level he played yesterday he will be unstoppable
for the bench
Kev - his pace and his finishing stand out more than most in our
team if not our league, have noticed he is a confidence player
so needs a run of games to get into his stride but when he is at
his best no defence in our league could cope
Matty - again for me was our best player in pre-season but
through no fault of his own and down to how well dotty has
played he is struggling for game time but has continued to show
us he can do things with the ball alot of us cant and isnt
afraid to run with the ball which we sometimes miss so be a
great player to bring on if a game is getting away from us
Warren - another option we have like kev whos pace stands out
always, never shys away from a challenge and if we needed an
extra bit fight at the back warren would be first one i thought
of to bring on
Me - again pointless not picking yourself on here :D
Macca - again to good a player to leave out of the team
sorry to anyone i left out at all but it just shows the stength
in depth we have now and it has took me forever to do this so i
definatly dont envy dan on a sunday morning haha

I can't even pick a starting XI let alone subs as well :)
How about we try sneaky sneaky and see how many people we can
get on the pitch

After reading all this, am not putting a team up until the mad
monk himself does. Purely because he's a sneeky fucker , starts
the shit off then hides back under his rock ;)
But av gorra take this time to tell paul that although am a
wanker in a game nearly all the time, its only because a care :)
I know how good you are. Yeah ya can be better but who can't.
You don't need anyone telling ya where ya going wrong or
whatever because your good enough to know yaself. In my opinion
a think your one of the better players I've had infront of me
(don't worry robbo, he's not infront of me the way you always
are) Not being a licky arse mind so before ya get too carried
away about me being nice, yer a ugly bastard if ever a saw one
;) but skillful and do deserve a bit credit every now nd then.
