       Squad Rotation

rite lads, quick update on things at the minute, as u know a lot
of people are in good form both on and off the pitch and
competition is fierce atm. just to let you know, im lookin to
try a couple new things sunday, having macca absent gives me
perfect oppurtunity to do so and im also looking to shake the
team up in the next couple weeks dependant on fixtures,
       absentees etc.
so if you are on the fringes now cudnt be a better time for you
to impress in training, show what you can do on the pitch and
also show your versatility such as positonal sense.
another point which i wana say also, for me as a manager i like
to pick hard working players who can play good passing football,
can both get up attacking and make sure they get back to defend
and vice versa and work hard to try and win the ball at all
times. then can get ball down and play it out instead of big
boots and rushing under pressure, and play simple no flicks no
hollywood shitem good simple sold performances. my pet hate is
laziness and if you think you may be lazy at times in
training/games ur already a step behind other people bcos i will
pick others over ya. now that there is such competition i pick
the team tacticaly and on merit, so if its harder for me to pick
im goin to look at pros and cons of players such as the above.
just a heads up so people knw what i expect, what impresses me
       and what doesnt.
hope its useful to ya lads, cheers ;)

no worries for me then :P hahah
but in all seriousness, this will probably make people more
aware, i'd imagine and they might actually want to put in that
       extra. :)
I made sure on wednesday i was completely flat out off the run
by picking up the pace within the last mile. has to be done haha

i think thats what alot op people are doing like saving
themselves for the football but when u think about it we do an
hours football and the job takes about half an hour so its
really the length of a match if can constantly be moving for 90
mins then u can do it in a game

Bit harsh judging people on the run, cos if you're not as fit as
the likes of Anth Martin, you're bound to fall behind. It's
       football, not a marathon.
Look at Hally (not having a dig), he's never at the front on the
jog but he still grafts in games. Some of us just aren't cut out
for distance running, it's different on a pitch.
Hold me own hands up and say I need a kick up the arse though.

nah mate, i totally agree with you i cannot seem to keep up with
the lads doing that run, and i probebly never will, its not that
i dont want to, its just i simply cannot lol.
but.. in a match its totally different put a ball at my feet and
ill run for hours! just look at the running i had to do up top
       on my own :)

so u can run for hours with a ball at your feet but not without
1 ??? lol strange and theres no such thing as cannot really its
more like dint want to try hard enough u think anyone of us cud
run 4 mile flat out before ?? not a chance i used to only sprint
then i changed the way i trained the thing is with people is
that if they cant do it first go then they think fuck it and
wont do it again it takes time just like lifting weights and
drinking beer u only get better with practice u want to finish
upfront then put some extra time and effort in for urself not
just for the team thats what i do and i come back from a 4 month
out injury in me knee so never ran not once in 4 month but bcos
i didnt give up i went to gym and focused on other muscles and
kept my fitness levels high and come back strong its easy if u
want it enough lads thats all im saying ;)
