Time of the week

If there all there think that would be my team from the last few
weeks and training etc I know there's no Grey and Hally must be
injured ;) x
Or for something a bit fruity as it's a cup game...

second week running im not in your team robson. i defo think ill

I think in order to build on last week (the level of football
played at times was the best we have managed) we should go with
whatever Dan thinks is the strongest side available
Personally I wouldn't change too much
Burnsy
JimBob Ian Zander Leon
Macca Me Jacka Hally
Dotty
Dan
Most of the changes are due to people missing (Gray & Andy) and
the return of Ian and Zander means that JimBob can move to a
more natural rb position and Macca can push forward
I have swapped Dotty & Dan round, I think Dan is most dangerous
the closer he is to the opponents goal, he can hold up the ball
and bring the midfielders into the game and also I think Dotty
is better with his head up running at goal rather than with his
back to goal holding up the play.
As with most formations it is a fluid XI and people are free to
swap positions and move around, the key this week lads is to
talk
Sometimes me and Gray get sick of our own voices so this week I
wanna hear everybody for 90mins plenty of man ons and shouting
names and encouraging each other
Come on Lads , good chance of a cup run lets really start
playing the kind of football we know we can

since gray and andy arent there and ian and zander are back i
would go for a 4-4-1-1 with
Burnsey
Jimbob - Ian - Zander - Leon
Macca - Me - Paul - Hally
Dan
Kev
Burns - best keeper in our league by far and on his day
unbeatable
Jim Bob - looked a little out of place at cb last weekend but
thats judging him on an amazing game at rb against fc easington
so with ian and zander there can let him slip back here and
hopefully have as big an influence as he did in that game
Ian - said it time and again has came into the team and made the
place his own dont think i have seen him have a bad game for us
and will be a big plus to have him back this weekend
Zander - best player of the season so far for me, has stepped up
his game beyond a level i knew he had and is impressing more and
more each game he plays along side ian forming a great
partnership
Leon - think he was abit critical of himself for last weekend
but i think he has been playing alot better in recent weeks and
has really started to look like the leon of old so i would stick
with him here because both he and hally looked like they had a
good understanding of each other and with the ability he has to
get past the wingers and get a ball into the box he will be to
much of a threat to leave out
Macca - with his crazy runs he is always going to cause the
defenders some trouble, he can add some height to the midfield
that we will miss this week with gray not being there to, always
going to be reliable getting forward and back which will benifit
jim bob and bring him into the game more hopefully
Me - felt fit in training again so hopefully can get a game
since gray has came back and turned on the style with 2 goals
already ha :)
Paul - has shown glimpses of just how much he can influence a
game lately but without having the final killer ball or bit of
flare that we are used to seeing, but with the ability he can
always change the game in one moment so would have him in there
Hally - dont need to say much on him seeing as most people will
agree last weekend was one of his best if not his best
performance since he signed great attacking threat and got up
and down the line as much as he could always causing problems,
if he can bring that into his game every week theres not many
teams who will cope
Dan - shows time and time again if he gets a chance he will
score, last week got three chances and ended up with 2 goals and
an assist from them, has the height to get a flick on the ball
for whoever would be infront of him and is always willing to
drop into the middle to get into a tackle which helps out
whoever the cm's when the other team pack there midfield
Kev - came of the bench and scored last week with what might of
been his first touch im not sure and was really unlucky not to
add a second was a great save from the keeper, think with his
pace if the ball is right and we can use him right in the game
theres no reason why he cant be bagging alot more goals for us.
think that will be a really strong team but was a right task
picking it ha i had to leave warren and dotty and matty out who
for me are all players i would class as first team so shows the
competition we are having for places now, with no andy there
that is the only reason i didnt put him in there because he was
another player i thought played his best game last weekend, and
with no gray i would of put robson in there because he never
misses a training session and has grafted his arse of but that
would of meant leaving me out and i want to play :D sorry robbo

But whatever team dan picks it will be more than capable of
picking up the win so lets get a nice cup run on the go see yas
sunday lads :) x

picking a team must be an absolute piss take in deciding on who
to leave out nd what have ya but this week al go for

reckon that could be a decent line up, just feel like a wanker
leaving lads out haha
