It's oh so quiet

Cmon Lads it's quieter on here than it is on the pitch and
that's saying something ;)
Where's the crack
Where's the boasts ( Well Dane is on his hols at the moment)
I'm a cockney so i'm meant to be stand offish but you lot have
no excuse :)
OK I'll start things off
What do people think so far of our pre season performances ?
Obviously we have quite a few new players and have made a lot of
changes during games so it is hard to judge but I think there
are a lot of positives so far
Scoring goals and creating lots of chances
Defence looks very strong especially to balls in the air
Fitness will come with time and I think we need to start using
the ball better across the midfield ( I'll hold my hand up
there)
But all in all I think we are a lot stronger now than we were at
this stage last season and I for one can't wait for the season
to start

Fantastic start in pre season for the new signings!
Matty,been excellent on the right wing for the past two
games,looks good getting forward and did what he had to do in
his first game as a right back.
Dotty,Ive played football with dotty a few times throughout the
years and hes always been a top player and hes showed that the
past few games,hes been composed and can bring and extra
dimension to the side.Would be my early bet for most assists
this season like.
Jimbob,PLayed against him when i played for the cove,hes solid
and an excellent centre half,but i think he is going to be
utilised well in a few positions for us and is good because hes
an extra voice on the pitch.
Overall,more competition and its going to be a hard side to get
a place in this season,i for one am worried that i wont get a
place and i think everyone else should,bt i plan to try my best
and thrive under the pressure to gain that place.after all if
the team improves it just means inderviduals need to improve or
get left behind.its going to be hard for the lads like dane and
chrissy who are missing pre season to get back in when they come
in my opinion.

Ah and Robson sorry mate,looks fit,and looks like a player we
are going to need in the hard games where fitness comes into
play when your up to your knees in mud ;D

Agree with Andy about the new lads. Considering Matty hasn't
played for years he's done really well and Dotty looks like
he'll be class after a few more games. Jimbob looks solid and
looks like he can play anywhere so that'll come in handy. Can't
say much about Robson cos I haven't seen as much of him in games
as the others.
For me personally I'm sick that my knee is back to its worst.
Feel like I've lost a yard of pace cos of it so it's gonna be
even harder for me to get back into the team now with some of
the forwards playing well.
The squad looks much better than it did last season though.
Plenty of competition everywhere which should bring out the best
in everyone.

Well from what I've seen in training the football at times is
great lots of hard work and people moving for each other. I know
its difficult in a game when people are on top of you but think
I only saw glimses of it in the game the other day. Ive only
seen one game so my opinion doesn't count for much! Hopefully I
can get myself fit and used to playing 11 a side again and be a
bit sharper. I'll fight for things and hopefully can assist
somewhere along the line.
Is everyone there tomorrow??
