Starting 11 vs. Wingate Grange

Again, just get this going for abit crack like. judging by
last weeks game, I can't see much I would change to the team at
all tbh.
Burnzy
Anth Macca Gray Warren(if
he's back)/Zander
Myself Paul Jacka Leon
Gibbo Hally
Burnzy - Good game, came out for some good punches in the
corners and is starting to look more and more confident again.
Anth - Had a great game on Sunday. Can't fault anything apart
from his dodgy back pass but the grass played a part in that I
think too.
Macca - Won every ball in the air and was solid, composed and
worked well with Gray
Gray - Voice at the back really showed how solid our defence can
be if it's commanded and Gray really contributed well to this.
Warren/Zander - I went for Warren for his work rate and
partnership with Leon. Zander as he's defensive minded and gives
Leon some more opportunity to stay up.
Myself - No comment, leave others to judge.
Paul - Had a great game Sunday and won every second ball,
creating chances and some good balls whipped in.
Jacka - Grafted his little arse off in the middle and got about
the pitch well, almost grabbed himself a goal for his efforts.
Leon - Better going forward and we need that left foot swooping
some crosses in!
Gibbo - His goal tally says it all and we need him up top.
Hally - I think hally at the moment is the better option as he
seems to play off Gibbo better. was hard to pick between him and
Andy as I think they are both good on there day. But Hally edged
it with his performance on Sunday.

i think i would go just about the same as dane tbh i think the
team we had out last week is a strong enough team to get a
result against anyone aslong as we all perform to our best :)
i would go 4-4-2 with
Burnsey
Anth/Gray/Macca/Leon
Chrissy T/Me/Paul/Dane
Hally
Dan G
Burnsey - looked back to his best last week, a couple of bounces
caught him out nearly but i cant think of one person who wasnt
beaten by the bounce atleast once on that pitch last week,
confidence looks like its coming back but tills has been amazing
lately so really tough choice in goal with burns just sneaking
it
Anth - for someone playing in a new position in a new look
defence he looked the part a dodgy back pass early on as he
found his feet but apart from that composed and was solid at the
back all game
Gray - got man of the match even though the other team hated him
that shows it all lol was one of his best games and showed what
our defence can do aslong as theres a big voice reminding
everyone what to be doing
Macca - best game in a while last week was back on form winning
everything in the air and again the famous run tackle run move
came of for him and was managing to be a threat at both ends
Leon - i would keep leon here only because i have pushed dane
onto the left and i think if warren isnt back then having leon
to cover there is ideal with dane being more of an attack minded
player, both of them like to get forward but leon has been
putting himself into any and every tackle he can lately so thats
why i have him at the back
Chrissy - missed last week but from what i have seen of him i
think he would fill the right midfield spot perfect infront of
anth both players can run the wing and chrissy has been pushing
forward from the back and looking dangerous when he does so i
think would be an ideal chance to see what he can do on the wing
with anth holding his runs and being so defensive minded last
week could be a good partnership
Me - let other people comment on me
Paul - always going to be on the field for me best passer of the
ball on the team and now he has started to add the goals to his
game he is looking in the right kind of form to help us finish
the season on a high, should be on all set pieces for me aswell
because he seems to pick the right ball out each time and we
need that with the likes of macca, gray and dan and there
heading ability (not so much dan after the one i put on his head
on sunday and he scuffed it :D theres me dropped sunday lol)
Dane - best game i have seen him play ever on sunday was chasing
every ball and grafting his arse of looked like he had a point
to prove, if he sticks to the simple play and uses the wing the
way he can then theres no reason why he cant push on and get
alot more game time coming up to the end of the season for me
Hally - needs to be up top with dan they understand each others
game and they both seem to play to there best when they are up
there together, his graft has been noticed by everyone lately
and aslong as he keeps that up then he already knows the passing
side of his game and for the most part his finishing are spot on
Dan g - top goalscorer, big target man and always a threat
running at defenders having him up top has payed off the last
few weeks as the problem with scoring goals has dissapeared,
will finish every chance on his day which is always a bonus to
have in the team
just my thoughts lads i could easily of had a few other ppl in
certain positions because everyone is performing well in
training and taking there chances when they get on the pitch, i
just think based on last week and what i have seen of other
people the likes of anth and a couple others deserve a run in
the team :D
but dans choice and i would hate to have to make it each week
because the teams are getting alot harder to try and work out
the way people are performing :)

Based on the number of people missing and the fact that they
were very strong in midfield last time I have gone for this
Burnsy
Chrissy Anth Macca Warren
Dane Jacka Paul Gibson Leon
Hally
Last time we played these they had a very quick forward and a
midfielder who sat in between the mid and att and picked up the
ball all the time so I have gone for Anth to partner Macca at
the back, Anth was really good on Sunday and he has played here
before against Shotton so he will add a bit of pace at the back.
We need Jacka to do what he does best and stop them from
playing, he needs to shadow there att midfielder and really just
irritate the life out of him, it will be up to me and Gibson to
support Hally as soon as we are on the attack. Dane and Leon are
good at getting down teh line and putting crosses in so we need
them to be up and down the line all game swapping with the full
backs when they can.
Hally needs to hold the ball up and be the link on the pitch the
key to the success will be how well we keep the ball in there
half easing the pressure on the midfield and defence
Just my opinion

the lads i have chosen in my eyes have palyed well in traning or
last weeks game also think turnbull should get a game from the
bench as he has impressed me at traning work very hard on monday
looked well keep the good graft mate
