Starting 11 vs Wingate on sunday
By: jacka Date: April 7, 2011, 6:53 am
---------------------------------------------------------
thought i would stick this up seeing as nobody else has yet :)
if i am remembering rightly these just played the long ball down
the wing and caught us out that way so i am basing my team on
that and that i dont know if certain people will be there have
heard chrissy is at oxford and dont know about warren, so i will
go for
4-4-2
Burnsey
Macca/Lee/Gray/Anth
Kev/Me/Paul/Leon
Hally
Dan G
Burnsey - just getting my vote over tills but still first choice
for me i think on his day with his confidence up he is one of
the hardest to leave out but was really close between him and
tills for this one.
Macca - he mentioned to me on sunday he is a right back
naturally and i think with there style of play putting him there
to cut out all the long balls will work in out favour
Lee - solid at the back week in week out and again a bonus to
have in the team to cut out there long ball game
Gray - the way he and paul played last week was the best i have
seen them play together but if macca is pushed out onto the
right theres only gray in my mind that can fill in for him in
the centre we need his voice and his composure to control the
backline
Anth - with not knowing if warren will be there on sunday i
think anth has shown lately with his graft he would be able to
fill in on the left with ease will be full of running and aslong
as the centre backs keep him in check i think he would do well
there
Kev - right hand side has been chopped and changed alot lately
and i think kev with his pace can cause problems to any defence,
might not be the best time to try a whole new right side out but
with macca behind him i think the height and pace they will both
bring to the game could really help on sunday
Me - for no other reason than i think me and paul played well
against these last time
Paul - back to his best last week, passing was spot on and even
got a goal to go with his play if he can keep that up for the
last few games of the season we should walk the next few games
Leon - off day for him last week but with his pace and the way
he has been grafting in his tackles the last few weeks would be
a mistake to leave him out this week
Hally - best i have seen him play over recent weeks his work
rate is better than i have seen it in years and like he showed
for dans goal last week can pick a pass out better than most
Dan G - since he has gone back up top we havent struggled for
goals in any of our games and i think that speaks for itself and
i think him and hally at the minute is the best partnership we
have up top
just my thoughts lads but whatever team is picked sunday lets
make it back to back wins and finish the season on a high :D

Burnzy
Myself Gray Macca Zander
Chrissy Paul Jacka Anth
Gibbo Hally
Burnzy - Think tilla looked abit shook up on Sunday and had an
off game in my eyes and gives Burnzy a chance to step back in.
Myself - Leave others to judge tbh.
Gray - Simply because we need a voice commanding the centre
backs and i think Lee has been quiet the last few games we've
played.
Macca - wins all the sloppy challenges and picks up the peices
with his stride.
Zander - defensive minded, doesn't go astray from his position
and would fill in for warren ideal (if he isn't there)
Chrissy - Had a bad couple of weeks but he knows he's been
played out of position and prefers RM and wants a start there.
Paul - Just does all the creating from the midfield and has the
voice in there too.
Jacka - Deserves his chance, doesn't show much at training as
much as he can on a pitch and when he steps on he is top draw.
Anth - Going by leons performance last week, making his spot
loose i think Anth would fit in well. plenty of graft and gets
to the line well.
Gibbo - Can't miss him out, does all the scoring, is the target
man with height and strength.
Hally - Slots in some nice passes and has some good play, loves
a lob ;) haha

il be there lads but im not playing il be on sideline so good
luck to whoever fills my shoes but dont get too comfortable haha
;) also me and macca had abit crack on in the car on the way
back
Tilla/burnzy
macca / Grey / lee/ Zander
Damen / jacka / paul m / leon
Gibbo / andy r or hally (cant decide)

Tilla or burnzy - again cant decide out of these two just bcos
tilla had a good game and made one mistake he shudnt be judged
as a bad keeper bcos weve all made them and this will make him
more determined to prove himself burnzy is just a crazy cunt
whos fearless but also does have his moments.
Macca - he said hes played here before and he does make decent
attacking runs for the overlap etc give him a shot there
Grey - putting him here he will hate me for but hes a good
centre half strong tackling good in the air and reliable .
lee - he does what it says on the tin end of lol ;)
Zander - if i can play left with a right foot so can he lol
aslong as he plays it simple hes got the skills reliable good
tackler gets stuck in
Damen - might only last a half but i think hes the best option
for a right winger weve got he may not be fast but his crossing
and on the ball play is cool calm and collected hes a nightmare
to defend against on his day
Jacka - this is were i like the idea of the back 4 bcos jacka
deserves a first team spot wether u like it or not hes hard
grafter good in a tackle and makes it harder for the opposing
midffield a felt sorry for him when he lost his first team
position after the performance he put in when grey wasnt there
outstanding.
paul mac - well when hes not trying to take on all 11 players at
once and looks up and feeds the forwards and wingers hes a good
midfielder sprays the ball all over the filed and causes
problems good crack
leon - backed him all the way cos when hes not been a DRUGS MESS
and is sobre hes the best left winger we have to offer good
crosses tackles and skill to beat players
Dan G - everyone knew he was gonna make an impact upfront hes
scoring goals creating chances and making runs starting forward
everytime for me
andy r or hally - these 2 are battleing it out like no other but
theyre 2 totally different strikers hallys a holding forward who
flicks and tricks people but does get abit greedy and does too
much and andys the pacey attacking forward with the through ball
skill and the option for dan to play along side rather than
playing off but also he does get abit greedy and forgets when to
pass or shoot this for me is the hardest choice and one im not
gonna make thats dans decision
cheers ;)

Im basing this selection on last time we played them and knowing
people may be missing.
Burzy
Macca Lee Grey Leon
Damon Paulo Mcanio Jacka Hally
Me Gibbo
Burzy-Number 1 atm
Macca- Used to be a right back and the ginger kyle bird
lookalike winger they had last time needs someone to keep him
out of the game
Lee-Solid
Grey-Will do a good job there.
Leon-Only left footer able to cover for warren.
Damon-Most composed person in our team on the ball and can run
st them and bother them.
Paulo Mcanio-Got his shooting boots on now.
Jacka-Best game hes played all season was against these last
time.
Hally-Can provide excellent cover on the left and able to get
forward with a killer ball.
Me-No comment
Gibbo Gibbo scores the goals. ;D
Different look to what we have tried but i think it would work
very well in my opinion. 8)
