What do you notice? If you make a claim, tell us what you
noticed that supports your claim.
I notice that different styles of music are popular in various
parts of the country. For example, Migos is more popular in the
southeast while Metallica is more popular in the southwest.
What do you wonder? What are you curious about that comes from
what you notice in the graph?
I wonder what affects these statistics and how cultural
differences play a role.
What’s going on in this graph? Write a catchy headline that
captures the graph’s main idea.
“Music Across the Country”
I agree. I also wonder how cultural differences play a role, as
more rural areas and cities are very diffrent.

What do you notice? If you make a claim, tell us what you
noticed that supports your claim.
I noticed that Taylor and Migos are listened to in basically
opposite areas. The majority of people that listen to Taylor
Swift were in the north-west areas and Migos had more people
listen in the south-east areas.
What do you wonder? What are you curious about that comes from
what you notice in the graph?
I wonder why people listen to more Taylor Swift in those areas
and what age the people are that this data is coming from.

I didn't notice that before! Taylor Swift and Migos are two
completely different artists, and this makes me wonder what
genre of music is more popular in different places.

What do you notice? If you make a claim, tell us what you
noticed that supports your claim.
I noticed that that both Maroon 5 and Metallica are both popular
on the western side of the US. And the Migos are more popular on
the Easter side of the US.
What do you wonder? What are you curious about that comes from
what you notice in the graph?
I wonder what are the ages of the people getting interviewed.
Also how does culture difference affect this graph.

I notice that the migos, who are from Atlanta and have made rap
music similar to previous southern rappers have a very high
popularity in the south.
What do you wonder? What are you curious about that comes from

I wonder where the other artists are from and if that effects
who likes their music. I also wonder if you took the popularity

I also noticed that Migos and Taylor Swift are listened to most

1. I noticed that Metallica and Migos are popular in almost the
exact opposite areas, as they are inverses.
2. I wonder why Metallica and Migos are inversely related and
not mutually enjoyed in many areas?

I agree. Different samples across the US have different
populations, which is why the difference in taste of music is
notable.

The maps for Metallica and Migos are almost inverse and I feel
it is a cultural reason as well as a population reason, for
instance, more people in Mississippi like Migos instead of
Metallica but it's inverse in California but California has a
higher population than Mississippi
2. What do you wonder? What are you curious about that comes
from what you notice in the graph?
I am curious about what a map of classical music would look like
3. What’s going on in this graph? Write a catchy headline that

"Music tastes from across the country."

I agree with number 1. Different samples across the US will have
different cultures, which reflects the differing taste in music.

I notice that the popularity density for these five musical
artists greatly vary, and there are no cases where the streaming
information of two artists completely overlaps.
What do you wonder? What are you curious about that comes from
what you notice in the graph?
I wonder why different parts of the US prefer certain
artists/music genres.

What’s going on in this graph? Write a catchy headline that
captures the graph’s main idea.
"Music Preferences Across America"
It is interesting that you bring up that artists rarely overlap.
This reflects the diversity of the US, and there differing
cultures and music tastes based on sample area.

The areas where Migos is popular seem to be where Taylor swift
isn’t. She is more popular towards the west coast and not in the
south of the east coast but he is very popular in the south of
the east coast and not popular in the west coast.
What do you wonder? What are you curious about that comes from
