Mandatory To Read This! How the League Will Work!

Alright, he is what we are going to do for the league.
1) I will create the league. It will be up to you to join. Its
going to take forever for me to invite guys so im just gonna
post the name and password in here and you will sign up. The
league will be created tuesday morning pacific time.
2) As soon as you get in the league, the first thing you do is
RELEASE all the players you have traded. Trades take a week to
register in the system, so we will release the players we have
traded, and pick up the ones we got in trades. IF I SEE YOU HAVE
SIGNED UP FOR THE LEAGUE, AND NOT RELEASED YOUR PLAYERS. YOU
WILL BE PUT ON AUTO-PILOT FOR THE FIRST WEEK. IT IS CRUCIAL YOU
RELEASE YOUR PLAYERS.
3) After you have released EVERY PLAYER involved in trades, you
can play your game. You dont have to wait to pick up all your
guys if you dont want too.
4) At midnight Tuesday Eastern Time (Wednesday Morning) you can
pick up all the free agents you want that are not involved in
trades or have been signed by a team in real life. If Brett
Favre is for some reason a free agent, you CANNOT pick him up.
If you pick up a free agent before wednesday, you will be forced
to release him and will not be allowed to sign another free
agent until thursday.
5) You will have until sunday at midnight eastern to play your
game for week 1. If will not always take this long, but since
some people wont get it the day it comes out, i will allow extra
time for week 1 to be completed. If we finish early i will
advance.
6) The Normal Advancement days will be Sunday at midnight
eastern, and Thursday at midnight eastern. So essentially, you
have the weekdays (monday-thursday) for one week, and then the
weekend (friday-sunday) for the next week.
7) If you are playing a user, and you fail to contact them
before the last day, you will be put on auto pilot for that
week. If they try to contact you and you dont answer back, its
not fair to them for their game to be simmed. So in user games,
make sure you establish a time to play your game.
8) Quarter Length will be either 7 or 8 minutes, with 15 second
accelerated clock. The Difficulty will be on All-Pro.
9) There is no glitching allowed. No "Nano Blitzes" or "Rocket
Catching".
10) If you quit a game, i can see what the score was when you
quit. You have to tell me why you quit. If i find your reason
acceptable, but you would of lost the game, you just get the
loss. If you quit against the computer for an unacceptable
reason, you will be given the loss for that week, and be put on
auto pilot for the next week.
If you quit against a user, you will be given the same
treatment. If you do this a second time, you may be kicked from
the league. QUITTING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
11) Lets all have a fun and enjoyable time in this league. We do
this for fun, so dont get TOO worked up about it ;)

so, if i want to pick up TO, i wait till wensday, or can I pick
him up right away.

if the free agent belongs to your team, you can just pick him up
right away. sorry about that, i should of clarified.

Wait so when we release all the players in trades... does that
mean that when we sign the players on our team (from trades) we
can give them any sort of contract we want? I thought trades
would involve getting rid of guys in their contract years, etc.
With this format whoever we trade for we can just sign to a 7
year deal from the free agent pool.

Why do we have to drop the players? Won't there be an option
that says "Do both users accept this trade?" It would be a lot
easier than dropping players and having them sign them.
If it's a deal with more than 3 players than they can drop those
players.
If the deal includes a draft pick, trade the extra players for
the draft pick...
For example...
Patriots Receive:
Chris Johnson
Jacob Ford
1st Round draft pick
Titans Receive:
Wes Welker
Ty Warren
Brandon Meriweather
Tully Banta Cain
Gary Guyton
Laurence Maroney
I could trade Wes Welker, Ty Warren and Brandon Meriweather for
Chris Johnson and Jacob Ford and then trade Tully Banta-Cain,
Gary Guyton and Laurence Maroney for a 1st round draft.
Of course I don't have the game yet so I don't if there is a "Do
both users accept this trade?" feature.

Trades would take effect in week 2 then... and what happens if a
player in the trade gets hurt in week 1?
It is so much easier to just drop them too...

Trades would take effect in week 2 then... and what happens if a

Alright I didn't know that they wouldn't take effect until week
2.
