It is nearly impossible for a .400 hitter to have a 56-game
hitting streak. A .400 hitter would have to play 120 seasons to
have a good probability to reach the same streak. Joe DiMaggio
holds one of the hardest records to break.

In chapter 15 of the Mathletics book there is an argument that
athletes in the early stages of sports would not be able to
perform as good today. Ted Williams hit a .406 in 1941. Defense
and pitching has improved by around one BA points a year. So Ted
Williams would not be able to have a batting average of .406
today's game.

Yesterday, October 25, 2018, we began 'beat the streak'
'eliminator'. Which is when we have to guess who is going to
score a touchdown and what team is going win. Every week we have
to pick a player and team, but we can not pick them again if he
already picked them. I picked Michael Thomas as my player
because Drew Brees throws a lot of pass touchdowns and his main
target is Michael Thomas. I picked the Patriots to win because
they have not loss to Bills in forever and the Bills are still
not good.

In chapter 5 of the SRS book it talks about if the designated
hitter increases offense in the MLB. After analyzing, there is
no evidence that the American league has a greater ability to
score runs as teams in the National League. Pitcher is way we
can not determine whether id the designated hitter increases
offense in the MLB.

For my third case study, i am going to do: MLB players that
should have been inducted into the hall of fame. Such players
include Barry Bonds, Pete Rose, etc.

As time goes on, our fantasy team scores less and less points.
This is due to injuries, bye weeks, and fatigue. However, we are
still winning the league, hopefully we can keep it up.

The eliminator and beat the streak games have started in our
class and i like competing so this is fun. I picked Adam Thielen
to score a touchdown and the Kansas City Chiefs to win. I am
very confident in my choices.
