Was surprised that it took so long for baseball to start
applying stats to their roster. So many people doubted them
until they won which is stupid. Everybody was afraid to take a
step into different territory. Not surprised they all joined in
after. Billy is till a loser though, according to his daughter.

Moneyball was an interesting movie. I enjoyed the beginning of
it with Peter explaining all the statistics and analysis to
Billy. Towards the end I lost interest. I thought the movie
became boring. It is impressive though what they did with the
       budget they had.

We finished Moneyball today. General Manager Billy Beane used
analytical reasoning to put together a successful team in 2002.
The club put together a 20 game win streak, the longest win
streak in MLB history. However, the A's lost in game 5 to the
Minnesota Twins, leaving Beane to an offer from the Red Sox for
$12.5 million, eventually turning it down.

The use of underrated and undervalued players in moneyball
showed that statistical players can win more games than one
superstar player. The runs earned formula showed up when the
team was trying to pick up statistically good players. The A's
won 20 straight games with players that no one thought could
lead them to that win streak.

Some things that stood out to me from the movie was that Bill
James made the theory up, but no one wanted to use it since he
never actually played, until Billie of course. A big part of
the theory was that you have to get on base to win. Billie was
telling their players to not bunt, not steal, and if someone
bunts don't go to second and be a hero, go to first. Peter also
told them that every first out you get, your score goes down 75
points. After this the A's won 20 straight games. The A's only
spent $206,000 every win while Yankees spent 1.2 million every
wins back in the 90's. Now that is why it's Moneyball.

Wasn't surprised that I crushed MacD in fantasy this week. A
good amount of players performed very well exceeding their
projected. Fitzgerald and McCoy got injured plus they're on
horrible teams so I don't plan on starting them for a minute
unless their teams pick it up. McLovin.

Dylan and I won again last week in fantasy. We already made
changes for this week so we can take on MacD's team. I'm excited
to see the outcome of this weeks matchup. Hopefully our players
       play well this week.

This past fantasy week was a great week for the Manteca Kneecap
Killaz. Almost all of our players except for the Ravens played
better than their projections. Stefon Diggs and Kirk Cousins had
great games and gave us double points. We ended up scoring
179.90 points and winning by a wide margin.

Our Fantasy team performed above our expectations except for the
Ravens defense. Their defense scored -2 points. This caused me
and Joey and to pick up The bears defense who have performed
extremely well after acquiring ALL-PRO LB/DE Khalil Mack.
