If there was something she didn't know, she was going to try her
hardest to find out. For know, she didn't have to search hard
for information right now. Samael would enlighten her on this
particular subject. She smiled at the gesture and lowered
herself down to her knees. She hoped this explanation or story
would be interesting. Sitting back on her calves, Julianna
folded her hands in her lap and gave her full attention to the
Arch-Angel.
Her mouth dropped open slightly. A reaper..fear? these words
played in her mind as he continued. Whlie he continued, the
young purity grew more and more attentive to what he was saying.
Truth way, she was a youthful, ripe soul before her father
called her forth to do his work, but she didn't know that. "
Interesting..." she muttered almost soundlessly while he
continued. Dangerous? The man had pretty much told her he was
dangerous, well so was a lot of other people and things. "
Whoa..” she whispered as one set of wings slipped into view.
Her eyebrows shot up when the second set slipped into her view.
" Oh wow!" she gasped before her deep, ocean colored orbs waved
back and forth from his face to his wings and back. Her hand
went to her mouth as Samale preceeded with telling her about
himself. Death dealer, soul stealer, hells angel. How could
someone do that? Before she realized it, a third set appeared,
these bigger. " Seraph.." she repeated. " Seen God?" she smiled.
" That is my father, I have seen him." she laughed. " He was the
one who gave me these..." with the ending of her sentence, Julie
unfolded her white wings that were against her back and allowed
them to stretch to full length. Her wings were ten and a half
feet long and four feet in width. She fluttered them lightly
before refolding them back up. She could sense a change, ever so
small, in Samale's voice.
She took a deep breath and allowed it to slip through her now
slightly parted lips slowly. Her face slowly contorted while he
spoke. Her God, her father was no great and infinite being....?
This slightly stung to her. Was he trying to turn her against
her father? She remained quiet as he seemed to be into telling
her about his knowledge. " A warrior?" she tilted her head. "
oh, I'm sure I am no warrior..." she gave a small smile and then
it faded.
Her jaw tightened while Samael seemed to bash on her father. How
could someone not believe or love in the father? Why would
someone feel this way towards him? She couldn't speak her words,
but soon she would. She wanted to respect this man and that is
what she did. She waited till he was done for the moment and
then took advantage of the scilence to speak. "First off, why
would someone what to steal souls? To implement fear onto
others?" she shook her head gently, not understanding why. "
Second, how could you say that about my father? He is pure and
good." she truly believed that and had no reason to think
otherwise.

Samael scoffed at the youthful divine before him; his massive
wings stretched out behind his large masculine form, and with a
silent sigh he proceeded to answer her innocent questions. "You
m'lady are oh so young and naive" He said with a smile "You dont
understand this world, humans or other... you dont even truly
understand yourself... so how can you begin to understand what
it is I speak of?" His question was rhetorical, not needing an
answer, as his wings slowly folded and he continued on with his
short answer.
"Your 'father' is nothing more than a terrified being lost to
the will of the universe... He... it.. seeks souls of the
greatest purity as to increase its hold on mortals.. It wants to
survey and control humanity for its own reasons and thoughts..
It wants nothing more than to consume the light so it can shine
brighter" Samael patiently exhaled a breath; life seeming to
return to his twisted eyes as he continued in brief spurts.
"Fear is the fastest way to convince people of their wrongs.. to
make them fear your power, is to control their actions... if
they fear hell, then they fear sin.. and if they fear sin, they
fear freedom... if they fear freedom, they fear living.. and
thus they go about doing as your father wishes, until the day he
can reap their soul and add it to his collection" The angelic
ancient tilted his head towards the woman before him; hoping
half-heartedly that she would understand for the moment, as he
stood upright and pointed to the heavens above.
"Your father claims two things and two things alone... he claims
to be omnipotent and omniscient.. all powerful and all
knowing... Well my dear child, I am here to tell you something
that few ever realize... One can not be pure and good, if they
are all knowing.. for in understanding the darkness one must be
of it.. In understanding chaos and death.. one must be of it..
Your 'father' can not be what he says he is.. if he is pure or
good.. For if he were pure and good, he would know only purity
and perfect bliss... when in truth, more fear your fathers hand
than fear the wrath of hell itself.. more fear IT.. than fear
the devil himself.. Why??? Because your father has trained them
for thousands of years into believing his will is golden.. when
in truth its a mild grey, and holds no power if they do not wish
it"
Samael flicked his wrist and with a sudden burst of light in the
sky.. a star was born. A brilliant and beautiful system of
planets burst into existence; deep beyond the reach of mortal
hands or means, and with a playful grin, the new set of cosmic
entities were set into motion. "You are an angel, a divine, a
celestial born being.. bred and created by your father.. to
convince and confuse the masses of lesser beings.. to gather
their will and their souls.. so he can reap them by means of my
kind.. the arch-angels.. so he can create an army to defeat his
fallen children... His forsaken... He gathers minions and
messengers so he can stop me, my brothers of the dark, and all
those other beings whos understanding of the universe expands
beyond this mortal realm, and these mortal fears...."
Samael paused; as if to catch his breath, while admiring the
newly birthed system in space, and with a patient sigh he
lowered his gaze back to the kneeling woman and smiled. He wasnt
angry at her ignorance, but he had no idea how he could bring
his form of enlightenment to her illuminated and blind world.

She looked up to the man, the Arch-Angel that was before her. A
drown touched her lips when he called her naive. The truth was,
was that she was naive, she knew it. What she didn't know was
that she actually was human before she was stolen away from an
amazing life. She didn't bother to care if his question had been
rhetorical, she was going to add her bit into it. " I am young
and naive, I give you that." she spoke with a hint of maturity
behind her words. " But that does not mean I cant understand or
try to at least." she was one to take both sides into account
and then form her own, new opinion.
She sat there listening to his explanation. The way he called
her father an 'it' bothered her a bit, but some of the stuff he
spoke made sense in a way. She thought about the fear subject
and realized that it made perfect sense. People who do fear with
try and stay away from what it is they fear. She let a small nod
escape her neck and head. "I see." she muttered now staring at
the grass. Reaching down she plucked a few blades from the
ground's hold and played with them. She sighed and glanced back
up to the celestial being who now was standing.
Everything Samael was stating was close to true. Even in
Julianna's case it was right. She was a thriving twenty-two year
old with a husband and two children when she was tragically
taken from their lives. The lord had told her he needed her and
that was why she was called so early. He erased her past life's
memories and planted false ones to fill the gasps. He wanted her
to watch the humans so he could keep tabs on them. He wanted to
know the purist of all and who was 'rouge, but Julie didn't know
that yet.
She did not want to believe the words he told her. They seemed
to wrong, to evil to be true. " Why don't I see this...?" she
asked as she too began to rise from her kneeling position. Once
up she brushed her dress off and stood with her hands behind her
back once more. " my father created me for good.."i don't
convince or confuse lesser beings about my father. I simply
guide the sick either to heaven or hell and I am a guardian to
watch over my select assignments. " She glanced up whilst his
the light shown in the sky. She gasped softly at the beauty of
the star that was made. " For someone who seems so evil, you
create beauty." she motioned up to the sky with her left hand.
" I do not know if what you speak of is true, but he has never
done me wrong. My father, HE, has taken care of me and guided me
to be who I am today." her smile reappeared upon her face while
she spoke. " I have nothing but trust in my father and will do
his duty as he wants." Taking a deep breath she let it out
slowly allowing it to flow with the passing breeze.

"And as such" Samaels voice shifted slightly; a dense and deep
malice surfacing beneath the simple words. "You will always be a
simple angel with but one purpose, and one objective in this
eternal existence you consider life... You will be the subject
of your masters rule, and you will be granted no form of freedom
until you gain your own consciousness and rise above this
influencing monster you call God" Samael growled out the last
word; such distaste and contempt in his voice that a palpable
sense of chaos could be seen leaking from between his lips. "A
servant.. nothing more.. remember that and think upon what I
have said to you here today young one... think hard"
The great seraph; the arch-angel, one of the few beings to ever
overpower his creation and come to his own form of judgement,
stood straight and tall as he stretched out his four sets of
massive wings. Their contrasting forms of feather and light
seeming to meld together and shift exponentially as he flexed
varied muscles and paid the heavens above a slight attention.
Admiring for a brief instant the creation of life.. before
closing his left fist, and watching as the star collapsed into
oblivion and faded into a surreal state of un-existence.
"I doubt your father is even the God so many speak of... for
only the seraphs may speak to the god of legend, myth and
religion.. only the seraphs may stand near his throne and
whisper him praises... I should know.. I have been there, seen
him, watched as he proceeded to have his bidding done without
further delay... I have seen the cowardly and weak follow his
path to oblivion without a second thought... I wish no others to
do as such.. but if it happens.. I will do nothing to stop it...
For only in ones' self can the true nature of a divine being be
understood.. and only in that understanding, can an angel become
what it truly should be... a power beyond mortal rules, and a
power beyond gods rule"
Now Samael seemed more cynical and angry than anything. Speaking
as his brother Lucifer once had done.. speaking as a fallen
truly understood how to.. against god, against purity, against
perfection.. For Samael understood perfections flaws, and
purities true deceit. He knew that only in chaos could life be
born and bred; only through darkness could the greatness of
light be seen and felt.. only in loss could what one gained be
given value.
"You see my dear child.. my young angel.. My father was amongst
the seven trusted angels. The seven greatest beings in gods
arsenal.. and my father, my uncle Tyrael, and my Uncle Raziel,
all came to the same passionate understanding that I did...
though in a different way.. and all three of them now surpass
your gods might, his power, his understanding and his purpose..
For they do not live in the light and claim knowledge they do
not possess... they live in everything and have learned through
every means available... I have traveled beyond life, beyond
death, beyond heaven or hell, beyond mortal world, beyond mortal
realms, and beyond all planes of existence.. I have seen the
face of many gods, guardians, deities, saints, spirits, and
other celestial entities.. I have seen them rise, seen them
fall, and I have killed my share of unworthy vessels for the
light... I am no more angelic than a blade of grass is holy..
but I am Divine. I am Celestial... I am chaos reborn and with
chaos comes an eternal cycle of change and growth. Death and
life... Your god... your father" Sameal grinned down at the
woman as he continued.. an idea birthed in his great
imagination.
"Your god... your father... is nothing more than an angel with a
lot of bright lights surrounding him... a lot of illusions..
fears.. threats.. and if ever you fear his wrath.. think about
this... who carries it out? Who sows his eternal vengeance when
a being angers him? Angels do.... they reap the souls, they
guide the weak, they corral the innocent and pure.. they
persecute the damned... The devil, my brother, Lucifer.. needs
not lend his might to the world in order to have those damned
fall into his lap.. he simply allows those who deserve to die
that honor, and the unholy and impure souls become his for
eternity... Your father is as I once was.. but his illusion has
grown dense and powerful throughout the ages, throughout the
ancient systems, and now.. here on earth.. he has gained what he
truthfully sought... an impish, and delightfully naive class of
mortals.. with a great burden born into their souls.. He has
found his fuel.. and you cant even see that simple truth"
Samael turned away from the woman slowly; his wings shimmering
and shifting silently, as a patient breath once more escaped his
lips. His eyes caught in a twisting pool of jade and emerald, as
he looked beyond the mortal realm and admired the very soul of
the earth they stood upon. The celestial essence of the planet..
the life... He watched it for a few moments, before he turned
back to the woman and smiled...
"But enough of that for now.. enough of the dense, the dark, the
unimaginably complex... I dont wish to spread my will as your
father has.. I simply wish chaos upon the worlds.. and chaos in
simple terms.. is nothing more than change... I wish change.....
so let us change this subject, let us alter this course of
concepts and ideas..... what do you wish to talk about?"

Her head tilted upwards while she stared at him. Her eyes were
wide with surprise at his words. She felt insulted that he was
taking such a tone with her and telling her what she 'was' and
'would always' be if she didn't obtain her own conscience and
rise up for her ownself. The word 'God' when he spoke frightened
her slightly. Not because of what he said, but how he said it.
her body tensed up and she took a small step back. The growl had
been deep and she knew if he got to angry he could easily
destroy her. She defiantly didn't want that, so she remained
calm. " Think...hard.." she repeated. Her thoughts were turning
in her mind as she tried to do just that, but it her
concentration was severed by the sight of his wings.
Her bright eyes locked onto the set of four and didn't move.
They were interesting and from what he had explained to her,
they told a story. Each set of wings meant something else.
Blinking a few more times, she retook her step and stood once
more where she had stood earlier. She wanted to touch the wings
but knew it could possibly be a bad idea. Glancing up just in
time, Julianna witnessed the star Samael, the Seraph, Arch-Angel
had created be destroyed at the hand of it's creator. She sighed
softly and shook her head, looking back to his face.
She glanced back down while be spoke about her father again. The
words he threw at her stung like a fastball smacking a batter in
the face. How could someone make this up? Why would someone make
such a thing up, unless they wanted to ruin the heavenly father.
These questions prodded at her mind and caused the domino affect
of her future thinking and beliefs. The ancient was speaking
things she would have never expected to hear, yet he was still a
stranger, why was she beginning to believe in his words? She
didn't have an answer to that and probably never would. As he
explained to her, his tone morphed into a smething that could
only be described as infuriating.
While he continued, Julianna couldn't help but to forget to
breath. He was sayingn so much and she couldn't comprehend it
all at the moment. Once she felt the raging, burn in her lungs
she gasped softly, hopefully it was unnoticed. " Your father and
uncles seem quite knowledgeable....as yourself." she muttered
not knowing what to say. His logic actually seemed legitament to
her, but she didn't want to admit it. She felt if she did, her
father would know and would destroy her.
Sucking her bottom lip between her teeth, Julie winced with each
word. Illusion, reap, and damned all stuck in her head.
Swallowing hard she sighed and finally spoke out. " You're
words, I see how no one could make it up..." she wanted him to
know she did have am mind of her own, she was just to frightened
to speak it, that was untill now. " I don't want to reap pure
and innocent souls. I want pool to make a choice on their own,
not trick them or confuse them into thinking something they
normally wouldn't believe." the soft sing-song of her voice
danced between the two beings and no further.
When he turned around, she sighed, closing her eyes. This was so
much to take in for her angelic mind. Her hands slipped up to
her head while she stood there. When she got her thoughts under
control, she put her arms down by her side. When he turned and
spoke of changing the subject, Julianna shrugged. " um, I...I
don't know." she frowned. " um...how about your family? You
spoke of your father, and two uncels." she allowed a smile to
paint her lips one again. " What bout them? Do you have anymore
family or what?" If he didn't want to talk about it, they didn't
have to. She just didn't know what to talk about it.

"Young one, my family is both easy to speak of, and nigh on
impossible to speak of at the same time" Samael casually sat
down on the solid earth and continued. "The real issue isnt in
speaking about them, but figuring out whether they can hear you
or not" His eyes were alight as he pointed them upward: Gazing
at the infinite expanse of space beyond that tiny world. "But at
either rate... I can tell you this.... If ever a family existed
dysfunctional... this one would top out the scale."
A slight laughter; a wicked resemblance to joy, flickered over
Samaels face as he admired the heavens and continued to speak.
Slower, and far less sadistic.
"My father wa....is....Well he was Gabriel, one of the most
feared and known Angels ever.... but now I believe he goes as
Adonis, and even... even your heavenly father couldnt stop him
or control him... Either way, he is neither good nor evil....
and just between us... He's a bit of an ass too" Samaels tone
was playful; hiding the deeper truths well beyond range of sight
or thought: No one, and no thing could tell what he was really
thinking as he progressed the conversation.
"He used my brothers to create me.... undid an entire existence;
the first existence to have been measured by celestials that
is.... with the whole galactic apocalypse... fell into the abyss
after facing his brother... Was reborn, was reborn, was
reborn... finally progressed to what he is now... Basically he
is everything he was before; all together, in one simple form,
that he adorns with a name... those that know what it... or he
is... call him Paradii..."
"But to me.... he is still just one of the assholes who left me
rotting in the ether for an eternity or two" Samaels anger
seemed to flare for but a second as he recanted the truth he had
come to learn. That his father, his uncle, and even his two
cousins had left him wandering in the ether because of his own
fathers actions.
"You see.... My father created me to harness more potential and
celestial energy in the universe... He created me by fusing two
sentient halves into one whole.. Daemon, and Raisinobu... two of
his sons.. became but one son in me.. one creature.. and through
me he planned on expanding his own power and destroying
everything... For when I was created, my father was known as
KAOS, a great and powerful abyssal that had brought pain and
destruction to the universe over and over again......"
Continuing through for a few more hours; explaining Kaos, the
abyss, and a few other details, Samael grew steadily more
apologetic and understanding. His features softened as he began
to loosen his tense muscles. Finally taking a true position of
comfort while continuing...
"So all in all... I intend to destroy everything so as to create
everything... Chaos you see... Order through disorder... I shall
wreak havoc and chaos down upon untold cosmos, and with each
fire a new form of life will spring up.... The rest of my family
believe this true form of life comes from purity, perfection,
order... Well I agree with perfection, but order is boring and
purity means nothing to the impure....."
Sizing up the conversation; having been talking on and on for
more than a few hours, Samael admired the woman before him and
smiled. She had listened to it all; every last detail of his
sorted creation and existence. She had heard of his brothers Rai
and Daemon, of their loves, their losses through his eyes. She
knew him better than anyone or anything had ever sought to
before.... Why? because she asked? Possibly because he could
kill her and stop her from knowing anything? Possibly.... none
could tell, but from the look of it, no lives were on the line,
and Samael could almost pass for a truly beautiful, and happy
celestial being....almost.

Her bright eyes never left the larger angel's face as he began
to go into telling her about his family. She made herself
comfortable by pulling her knees to her chest and wrapping her
arms around them. This made her dress rise to her lower calves,
but she didn't care. She took a deep breath and allowed her body
to maintain an even rhythm of breathing while she listened. She
had asked and so she would take the responsibility to take in
everything, even if she couldn't or don't understand most of it.
" Wow....." she breathed out softly. Everything Samael had told
her was quite intriguing to say the very least. He was actually
two people? Wile the hours past, Julianna had gathered a lot of
information about this stranger and he knew nothing of her. To
be frank, she didn't know much of anything that was true about
herself to tell. " So..your father Gabriel..or Adonis created
you from your two brothers...and then left you to rot?" she
tilted her head, causing her long dark hair to fall over her
shoulder on one side. She may have been confused, but she
didn't care. No one should have expected anyone to take in and
understand everything he had just said.
She had no reason to use the information against him, though how
could she? She was young and naive, she didn't know how to use
it against him. She smiled softly up at him, her teeth actually
showing through her parted, nude lips. " Your past sounds hard,
that why you seek to destroy everything..?" her voice was still
as soft as before, though a hint of restlessness could be heard.

Samael smiled at the young angel before him; a perplexing idea
seeming to rest precariously upon his mind, as he stretched out
his right arm and opened his hand towards her. "This is what my
father gave me... this is what the ether gave me... the Aer"
With a silent breath in, and a near instant one out, a spidery
silken line materialized before Samaels hand. It pulsed and
twitched as it was brought from its hiding place beyond life and
death. The thin strand no more than a hairs breadth wide; a
beautiful glow making it appear larger, stretched from Samael's
hand and connected to the dirt before the young angels right
foot.
It hung there in the air; taught and tense, like a muscle
prepared for action, as Samael inclined his head towards the
thin essence, and smiled again. "This is the Aer, the essence of
what connects and separates your world, from the infinite others
that exist in the same place so to speak... separating your
realm from the next, and keeping them in place.. This is the
ultimate form of order, and I am its sole master"
Raising his hand; pulling the thread tighter, he pulled the
earth free from its grip on reality, and casually a large
portion of soil rose into the air. It hung listlessly; neither
effected by gravity or any other laws in the realm, as Samaels
fingers slowly closed, and the thread spread outward like a
netting over the soil. It wrapped around the earthen construct,
and with nothing more than a casual close of his hand, the
entire thing tore apart.
The thin strand vanished, but instead of falling to the earth,
the soil stayed stationary for an instant, before it collapsed
in on itself and was replaced by a tainted scar in the air. The
ethereal strands cut through the soil like a knife through
butter, but before the earthen material could fall and
recollect, the Aer gathered it and left it endlessly floating
through the ether. Cast asunder and lost to space and time.
"You see... The ether.. the Aer can cut and harm as any other
blade or power can... I use the power of absolute order in the
universe to create absolute chaos.... This is just a little show
of what I had to endure and memorize. I had to learn this
horrendous power throughout endless lifetimes, while no more
than an instant passed elsewhere.... Ive lived far longer than
most, in the mere blink of an eye... and this is my reward"
Samael closed his hand fully as he retracted it and placed it
against his lap once more. He knew the woman would be surprised,
but whether she understood or not.. that wasnt for him to know.
"As for why I seek to distribute chaos... that has nothing to do
with a personal vendetta or revenge. I dont require such
meaningless pursuits to entertain my time... I am going to
destroy for the sake of creating perfection.. Chaos brings life
and life brings chaos. Change... perpetual change... I shall
create the ripples from which entire universes shall be born"

Julianna blinked a few times as Samael lifted his arm and
stretched it out. What was he going to show her? She thought to
herself. She sat there and watched. Her eyes grew wide when the
strand slowly pulled from. The older angel's hand and snaked
towards the ground in front of her right foot. Julie was
slightly weary of it and moved her foot away a bit more. The
glow it held was quite magnificent, along with the strand
itself. " hmmm" She watched in awe as part of the earth broke
free from its hold and floated up in the air. Swallowing she
held her breath. She didn't know what to think of it. " Aer,
does that...?" she muttered under her breath as she finally
breathed out. How does one get this...aer? She asked herself. It
was interesting. How was this that strong?
Listening to him explain that he used this substance, if it
could be called that, she felt her mouth drop a little bit. This
was all so much and her brain was having trouble processing it
all. She was even getting a headache just by watching and
listening. " you had to memorize that?" she asked and frowned.
It seemed quite hard for one to memorize how the Aer worked. She
watched his hands return to his lap while she sat there
surprised and confused. She wasn't going to ask anymore
questions that would cause her to become this way again, she
hoped.
" So you don't destroy to get revenge...you destroy to create?"
her brow furrowed as more confusion sat in and she shook her
head. " ugh....that's so much information at once.." she replied
her hands moving to her head. " So, I take it you will destroy

destroyed. " Do you plan on destroying me to create something

"No no no m'dear" Samael laughed as his gaze raked over the
woman before him. His amusement obvious in every sense. "I do
not wish to destroy you.. nor do I meddle in the affairs of
those beings I would see undone... I prefer to act on a far
grander scale young one... You are not a threat to me or my way,
so you are as safe as anything can truly ever be"
The great celestial man; comfortably seated on the soft soil of
the small plateaued clearing, slowly balanced himself on one
elbow as he leaned to the side. His large kimono flourished in
the light breeze; crimson and gold dancing to and fro with the
movement of the wind, as Samael wondered over the woman. He
thought cautiously about her; not wishing to make it apparent,
as he took in every movement and action. Every fear and nervous
twitch; every unseen habit of the spirit, twist of aura, and
purge of energy. Everything he could witness and memorize, he
captured in his celestial mind for later use.
Though the woman was not a threat; not a weapon to use, nor a
shield to utilize, she was still one of the angels of mortal
realms. She was still divine and pure... She was still a
representation of everything Samael hated and despised. Of his
father, his uncle, and his creation. She could be nothing more
than a pawn to be played later, or she could end up being a
knight to attack soon... but sometimes in a game of shadows even
a pawn can be dangerous...
So with every little aspect of the woman before him memorized;
