Samael and Julianna. :/:An Angelic Meeting:/:
   DIR By: Julianna Zahn Amadeus

       ---------------------------------------------------------
The night was young, the air cool. Stars were just begining to
peep through the dirty atmosphere to shine down upon the surface
of Earth. Birds and other small day critters were making their
ways back to their homes to nestle into the cozy beds that held
them at night. Crickets, lighting bugs, and bull frogs were just
not making their nightly appearance by singing, flashing, and
croaking as if they were putting on a concert for nature.
The place was secluded to say the least. Hundreds of miles of
dense forest seperateded the open, five hundred foot in diameter
field that was atop a large hill from the rest of the world.
The field was a lush green, the grass standing at a small inch
as if it had just been mowed. A light breeze rustled the leaves
of the trees as it danced over.
It was the perfect place for anyone who wanted to get away, or
       to find peace.

Samael; gifted with a beauty only other angels and divine beings
could match, stood motionless at the center of the secluded and
serene oasis of lush greenery. The night sky was painted with a
truly creative brush; constantly ebbing and flowing with the
lights of heaven and beyond, as the chaotic celestial being paid
the earthly ceiling no mind. His bright jade eyes were upon his
own hands; drenched in an unseen blood, a memory of war and
death that would not wash away with any number of chemicals or
any amount of scrubbing, as the world around him spun, and life
       continued its cyclic movement.
He was beyond ancient in comparison to the world; a mere blip of
time on his eternal existence, and yet here he had made his most
memorable and remarkable choices. Here he had betrayed his
father; consumed his brethren twins to become but one being, and
here he had chosen to ignore the angel for reasons beyond heaven
and hell. Here was his place of 'birth', and yet this was not
his home... No.. Instead, this was his haven away from home. His
peace amongst the chaotic spinning of the surreal beyond.
Casually he placed his hands upon his lap; body seeming to lower
without a movement seen, as his entire back sprawled out upon
the lush grass, and his eyes glared to the beauty above. His
weapons were all missing from his body; a newer and far more
diminutive form taken, and yet there was something innately
sinister about him. Something dark and enigmatic. Something
terrifying to most... even his father.
He wore a bright crimson and gold kimono; split open at the
chest and tied in both the front and back by chains of
iridescent steel. A creation of his own energy and the Aer
beyond life and death. His hair; a shifting corona of luminous
forms of color, now rested at a neutral and shimmering white as
he watched the heavens above in silent anticipation.... For as
it was with his entire existence.. Peace and solidarity was
never long lived, and chaos always ensued where his feet did
       tread...

She walked barefooted over the rough ground quietly as she
could. Twigs, rocks, and ditches were just some of the obstacles
that separated herself and the peaceful field she had been told
about. Her wings were tucked tightly to her back to make it
easier for her to maneuver around trees and such while she
continued her journey through the forest. Her brother, Jesus,
had told her about this place before she had left. He said if
       she never needed a moment to think, to relax and be herself;
this was the place to do it. Her long, ankle-length opal dress
clung to her upper half nicely then flared at the bottom. Here
hair; long, dark, and wavy swayed with each step exaggerated
       step she took.
After several hours of walking, Julianna cleared the last
obstacle in her way to the field. She had to jump over a deep
drop off to make it to the clearing. A small gasp escaped her
soft lips once she exited the dense cover of vegetation when she
looked up. The sky was magnificent to her. " beautiful..." was
the only thing she could mutter to describe the scene. It looked
like an artist had painted the sky with pinks, purples, yellows,
and blues. This was only her second time of seeing a sunset now
that she was upon earth again. Juliann a was young, very young
in angelic years. She had just recently descended a few weeks
ago to help do the work of her fewer above. She was childish in
some ways, yet mature in others. That was why she had been
called home early, God needed her to watch over the rest of the
       damned, human race.
She had not noticed the other being laying in the grass far
away. Her eyes were only upon the sky and not four hundred feet
to the right of her. She groaned softly while thoughts began to
swim in her mind. Why did she have to decent so soon? Why would
her father no give her more information on what to do? sighing
she shook her head and outstretched her wing to their full
length. These questions would go unanswered for a while.

"A power, nay.. perhaps a meager throne" Samaels voice was like
a sweeping ocean wave; all force at first, but a rhythmic
pulsing finding its way from deeper within the spoken words.
"Not an Arch, and not even remotely a Seraph" He spoke to
himself about the other; the angelic being who's presence now
intruded upon his sanctuary away from home. As he was once
considered of the highest order of angels, he could immediately
sense the divinity of other beings, and this new female
appearance was nothing more than a freshly earthbound throne or
power. The lesser angels with but one pair of wings, and a more
       human form.
He didnt think her worthless; nor did he deny the gifts she
undoubtedly had, but he had seen so many of her kind he couldnt
be impressed. His jade eyes swept from the sky to her form in
the near distance, as a brief smile fell upon his facade. "Ah..
most definitely a power, but perhaps... someday she may gain
another set of wings" His voice rang out further this time; not
to have his words heard, but instead to have himself heard in
general. As if asking the youthful angel to look his way instead
of having to introduce himself or stand and be noticed that way.
He was comfortable after all; the grass a veritable mattress
underneath his masculine form, and he had just laid down... So
rather than move his form; his ethereal wings ever present but
unseen until he wished it, he simply shifted to allow himself a
better view of the woman as she moved... He would wait until she
spotted him, and from there... who knew what would happen..
Samael was never one for order or law

She was to young to know of any war that took place sighing the
angelic realms. After all, Julianna was new. Her head was tilted
up at a ninety degree angle to continued to view the setting sun
on the horizon. Her hands clapsed together behind her back while
she rocked on her heels. How could something on this horrible
planet be so beautiful. Once the thought crossed her mind she
laughed at herself. It was because the beauty was not of the
planet, but rather the university it was a speckle of. Taking a
deep breath, her nostrils and lungs filled with the scent of
honeysuckles and other floral/vegetative scents. " So calming.."
her voice whispers along the gentle breeze.
Her mind cleared as she focused upon the sky above her, until a
sound poked at her ears. It was a voice, deep and powerful. She
quickly snapped her hear to the right of her 5'7" body. Her
wings fidgeted as her guard went up. She wasn't much of a
fighter, but she would if she need to. " Hello..?" she called
over, standing where she was. She noticed a blob, a body
actually laying on the grass a few hundred feet away.

"Hello" The womans voice echoed and outstretched a welcoming
hand to Samaels ears. A patient sigh escaped the angelic
creatures lips as he rose to his feet: Standing nearly seven
feet tall and with unseen wings as long as he was tall. He
       admired the petite and slender figure of a creature before him;
his mesmerizing jade eyes seeming to decrease the distance to no
more than inches, as he looked her guarded celestial form over
       and shook his head.
"Hello" His voice rang out from between his smiling lips. A
softness burst forth like a lost wind finding its course behind
a tranquil breeze, as he nodded towards the celestial woman and
outstretched one hand to the air between them. "The name is
Samael, the Seraph of Resurrection, the Fallen Arch-Angel.. Son
to Gabriel... I come in peace and seek to do you no harm Ma'm"
Without wishing to scare away the new being; wanting a bit of a
distraction from the surrounding universe, Samael approached
with graceful ease. His unseen wings seemed to propel him along,
as he barely left marks upon the soft grass and dirt behind.

Her bright, blue eyes scanned over the larger figure rising from
the soft grass. Her throat caught breath she tried to take in
and wouldn't allow it to her lungs. He was so tall compared to
her. Finally she was able to get oxygen to pass into her mouth,
down her throat, and into the sacs that sent it through her body
via blood. Her shoulders were back, her back straight, and her
neck out to make her seem taller.
She refolded her wings back against her backside and slowly took
a few steps forward. He had answered her back with a similar,
but manlier tone. " Samael?" she repeated softly in return to
make sure her mind had caught it right. "a fallen Arch-Angel ?"
she repeated that too with a nod. " umm..Julianna Hartsfield,
Decended angel, daughter of the father himself." she pointed up,
giving motion that she meant God.
She took a few more steps towards the larger being front of her
who was now also taking steps towards her. His clothing was
different from hers, yet she didn't comment on it. " You come
here to think too ?" she asked. Her voice was soft and gentle
like her being. Hey eyes glanced to behind him, noticing his
footsteps were almost traceable upon the grass after he passed
       over.

"Julianna Hartsfield" Samael memorized the words without
interest any further. A name was all he would need for now, and
until something else arose, those two words were the most
interesting traits this woman could offer.
"I unfortunately have too much time to think m'lady... I come
here instead... to stop thinking and have a bit of truthful
bliss" His words were like coals; smoldering and warm as he grew
closer, and with each breath in and out, his body seemed to grow
       brighter. An inner light seemed to give birth behind his eyes;
their once vibrant jade, now a swimming torrent of emerald stars
and jade waves, as he made his effortless march towards the
       woman.
His mind was at ease; no more than fifteen feet from the lithe
and petite angelic creature before him, as he stopped, and with
a faint bow near unseen due to his height, Samael awaited the
       womans next action...

Her eyes never left the figure of the man who was approaching
her. Something was different about him and this intrigued her
so. He was an angel like herself, but unlike her, he had a dark
side. She could sense it. Even though he smelled of darkness,
she didn't mind. He seemed harmless, for now. Swallowing, Julie
nodded in understanding. She too liked to clear her mind and
       just relax.
" You..you seem quite intriguing." she admitted to the man as
his eyes started to brighten. She could take light from other
objects and allow herself to glow and recharge, but couldn't
quite summon it on her own. When he bowed, she placed one foot
infant of the other, grabbing the sides of her dress, and
bending at her knees with her head dipped slightly in a curtsy.
After the gesture, she rose with a smile still painted to her
lips. " you said an Arch-Angel..." her voice remianed soft. "
What is that?" her head tilted in question
She way young, yes, ut that didn't mean she was stupid enough
       not to ask questions.

With a sigh and a slight laugh; amused by the young divine's
curiosity, and upset by her ignorance, Samael simply nodded
towards the soft grass and began to sit down. He arranged his
kimono as to fit comfortably underneath his body, while his
luminescent steel belts seemed to vanish without a sign.
Patiently he crossed his legs beneath his large crimson and gold
garment, as he looked back to the figure standing before him. He
would proceed whether she sat or not, but in his explanation he
would surely grab the womens attention, and she would most
undeniably sit down to listen more closely.
"M'lady, I am, or moreso, was once an Arch-Angel, or one so
called a reaper... I would come to earth and reap the souls I
could and instill fear where I tread.. I was told otherwise at
first, but over millenia I realized the truth... For in doing my
lords bidding I wasnt just collecting the damned and dismal
       souls lost to despair.. I was reaping unworthy and pure souls;
ripe and youthful souls.. I was the hand of god, and his hand
was far more dangerous than an angel could be allowed to
       obey..." Samael grinned and crossed his hands across his lap;
one pair of wings slowly coming into view behind his body. "This
set of wings..." He inclined his head to look at the curled tip
of his right wing. "Was mine before I was an arch-angel..."
Samael smiled as a second set of wings stretched forth from
below the first, and twitched with an intense inner light. "This
set m'lady... is from being an arch-angel... A death dealer, a
soul stealer.. one of the forsaken and forgotten hells
angels....... and these" Samael smiled even brighter as yet
another set of wings sprouted into visibility behind his body,
and slowly they all spread outward to an incredible length.
"These... are from being claimed a Seraph.. One of the lords of
angels.. one of only a dozen... We alone have spoken with god,
and claimed ourselves as to having seen him..."
With a twist of regret; a slight hint of sorrow, but an
overwhelming sense of hatred and rage, Samaels voice altered
ever so slightly as he continued. "These wings mean the least,
and yet hold the most esteem... For god is no great and infinite
being like you would wish it.. We were no mere harvesters of
souls for a great and mighty purpose.. we were the warriors of a
tyrannical celestial being... Well.. I was.. You my dear child..
Still are" Samael grinned painfully as he continued onward.. not
caring whether the youthful angel would insist her own knowledge
       more potent.
"For no matter what you say or do.. no matter what you
believe... You can never know as I have.. For I am not but an
angel of earth, of the humans and this realm.. I am a celestial
being beyond this pitiful existence, and I have learned the true
voice of your god.. and there is only one thing that it did
properly.. and that was keep the human race ignorant of its far
more intelligent sons... The fallen angels, the forsaken few who
dove away with my brother Lucifer and gained a far more
righteous purpose....To take only the impure, by any means
necessary..." Samael smiled as a small set of black wings; like
the other three sets, sprouted from nearest his shoulder-blades
and came into view before the white backdrop of feathers. "These
are what I earned when I fell of my own will.. and sought out
more than the white background... When I sought out contrast,
truth in disorder... Chaos...Now as I am.. I have bestowed upon
millions, my will and my wrath.. and I would do it again in an
instant.. to see but one truly pure act of humility in the face
of certain doom... You my dear youth are an angel for god, a
warrior of the heavens, a messenger for his will.. But I am a
free being that has seen beyond the veil."
