Katsu and Kree

The sword rests at the top of the tallest mountain, within the
lands of the dragons, the draconians to be exact.
His bare feet darted along the winding dirt road, the pounding
sensation causing deep rooted pain to shoot up his leg, though
he continued. Something was driving him forward he had to have
the last brother, or sister of the swords that rested upon his
body, lightning, fire, and ice all rested upon his body and
earth rested within his grasp, though the way the man described
it and the trial to reach it irked him the most.
To claim each of the flames they had their own trials, though
the blade of earth has a similar trial two blades rest there
laying your hand upon either blade triggers the trial for both,
the blade of void and the blade of earth.
His body came to a halt stopping and his head turned from side
to side searching, a look of dismay though still determination
rested within those cold golden eyes. His body shifted and his
hands dropped to his side, the wind blew roughly through the
dark trees and over the man’s body ruffling his cloak, the
slight sound of a twig breaking caught the man’s attention or so
it seemed. His eyes shifted to the left and his right hand
shifted as well drawing in the golden flames and expelling them
outward catching a figure that darted forward for him.
His eyes closed and his minds eye opened for a while pinpointing
each attack and where they were coming from, his right hand
shifted to his left hip and his left hand to his right, swiftly
as if on time both blades let the sheathe.
One
A block always was to come first and then a counter attack,
blood filled the air the sweet salty smell of it calling out as
Katsu dance between each drop the black cloak around his body
moving as swiftly as he is. He pushed the sword forward one good
time and whatever was left of the highwaymen died beneath his
blade. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath all three
swords now placed in the ground before him, the man meditating.

It had been a long trip for him to reach this town. He had
traveled for days to reach this small village where his next job
would take place. He traveled across hot deserts and, barren
wastelands just to accept this small job that he didnt want to
do.
A few days before his journey began he was sitting by his
daughters side teaching her how to walk and the next he was
being forced onto a mission that was so simple one of the lesser
ninjas could of taken.
He had wondered his entire journey why they needed an expert
such as him just to take out a few highwaymen but he accepted
the job either way and he had now arrived at his destination.
He had quickly met with the village elder getting the details of
what he had to do. It was a simple assassination mission for
little pay that he wouldnt accept due to the villages already
seeming poor since it wasnt even a challenge for him.
He headed from the village by the cover of early morning still
dark enough for him to travel among the shadows. It has been
several months since his last mission and this gave him a new
found feel of excitement being out on missions again. a rush of
excitement overcame him now that his mission began. he rushed
even faster now to the location of where the bandits were. He
sat behind a tree a few feet away from the location watching as
the bandits started attacking a man. Before he decided to leap
into action he noticed the man had already taken out the target
not only surprising him but angering him for he traveled all
this way for nothing. he lept from the tree a few feet from the
man quietly moving around him wondering what the hell had just
happen as bodies lay before him the smell of blood strong in the
air. he sat on the back of his own legs staring at the man
trying to get his attention.

He knew the man was there even before he revealed himself from
the shadows, ever since the day his life had ended his senses
seemed to improve ten fold his sight and ears pushing way past
humanly limits and his smell and sense of feeling was even past
that of a dragons level. His eyes remained closed and a deep
crimson red energy overtook his body creating a dramatic
spectacle, a crimson red dragon swirled its way around his body
before all of it faded, his body and the three swords gone and
an eerie quiet resting on the wind a gale passing over quickly
before fading. Katsu’s eyes watched the boy behind him, a ninja
of exquisite caliber and yet what was he all the way out here
for.
One day you will choose Katsu, friends or vengeance those are
your two options, or maybe you have a third option I don’t know
about.
Why on this specific incident was he thinking about those words?
His eyes still watched the ninja from the top of the waterfall
his body returning to behind the man his sword drawn and the
sounds of clashing heard from behind, Katsu’s eyes were closed
and the demon looked ahead at the ninja, the guardians of the
mountain were beginning to show themselves, he shifted the wrist
of his hand that held the blade the creatures body freezing from
the inside out before shattering becoming just a piece of
nothing on the ground, he finally spoke a teenage yet wisdom
like voice passed through his lips.
“You know its not nice to sneak up on people”

kashuka smirked at this mans response before speaking "well i am
a ninja it is my job to sneak and blend in but you have made my
job easy i was hired to get rid of these men that were posing a
threat to the village but you seem to have beat me to the
punch." he laughed a bit but still annoyed he came for nothing.
He looked back towards the man dusting off his legs standing up.
he spoke quickly" i was here for a mission but you seem to beat
me to it so who are you and what are you doing here if i may ask
so kindly" he put on a sincere smile waiting on his response
thinking of his family at home hurt his heart but he felt he had
something important to do here.

This man was odd, he had already known the man was a ninja but
what skill could this man himself have, his eyes remained upon
the ninja’s a smirk upon his lips, the wind passing through for
a second again flapping the man’s black cloak within the wind
his hand disappearing inside his cloak for a quick second his
hand clenched tight to the hilt of his blade of ice, his eyes
closing but he could feel the heat in his body quickly replaced
by the cold chill of the living ice, its power running through
his veins and quickly overlapping every bit of heat that would
normally run through his body, his body relaxed all but the palm
of his hand which seemed heated even through the lack of heat.
“A name is not something many are so willing to give out on a
first meet up, a name has power over people and can even be used
to learn everything about people”
His back turned to the man, slowly his eyes opened out of sight
of the ninja, the icy blue tint to them now staring upon the
direction where Katsu came from, the dark smoke finally rising
in the horizon like a forewarning that the beast following him
was not far behind, he had mere minutes to test the ninja and
see if he was worthy of the task, his eyes closed again and he
pressed the blade closer to the sheathe allowing the heat to
return to his body, he turned around and walked slowly pass the
ninja enough to allow the dark golden eyes to peer at the man.
“You came here to seek adventure and complete a mission come
with me, I have quite the tale and adventure for us to venture
to or go home either way I wouldn’t go back if I was you.”
His hand extended finger pointed straight out and at the thick
black smoke rising in the distance that seemed to be taking the
shape of more or less an encroaching darkness that seemed to
shoot over the countryside quickly. His eyes closed again and he
darted for the base of the mountain that rested near where the
two of them had been conversing, his voice was silent resting on
the words the blade themselves had told him the day he gripped
the two sisters within his hands.
Take the blades and pain shall follow your way, a demon of
darkness and despair that wishes our lives to be his to protect
or steal, if you take us then you will protect us from him and
we protect you from him, as one being together,
Katsu leaped midway up the mountain and landed on a rock his
head looking over the edge, his golden eyes watching the
oncoming darkness but his lips parting once again, his words
were quick but spoke directly to the young ninja. He moved his
hand swiftly, if the ninja followed after he was part of the way
up a golden flame encircled the mountain as an entirety tearing
at the ground and not allowing anyone through or back.
“My name is Katsu, I am a samurai from the distant north though
from now on I am just a wanderer I have a goal ahead of me and
we shall figure that out at the top of this mountain,”

The ninja was taken back by the mans eyes never having seen
anything like them before. He looked to where the man had
pointed confused until he saw the cloud of black smoke as if
something was burning. He pondered to him self who or what
could this man be. What is that black smoke that seems to be
moving towards us? Should i really trust this man and follow
him or return home for the sake of his clan and daughter? These
questions raced around his mind never ending and puzzled him the
more he thought.
He looked toward the man and spoke confidently " so katsu you're
promising me adventure and a mission unlike any other then i
guess ill have to gladly accept and show you what a member of my
clan is capable of" he smirked pulling his mask above his mouth
chasing after the man.
The area around his feet turned a dark black color as he raced
after the man running straight up side of the mountain until he
reached katsu leaping high into the air doing a few unnecessary
flips landing beside him a shadowy aura dancing around him like
the black flames of the heavenly fire.
So katsu wanna catch me up on the details of this little
adventure before we get started and i throw my self into
something without knowing my goal i am a ninja and all i pride
my self on knowing everything possible about a target" he
smirked possibly over excitedly at the chance to get some real
action.
He looked at the man with an over confident look speaking very
cocky " the names kashuka im the leader of the Hanzo clan known
throughout the world as the number one clan." I trained under
the great ninja master Hanzo Hattori making me the second best
in the world. its a pleasure for you to meet me and live" he
said jokingly.

A small smirk crossed the man’s lips from beneath the golden
hooded cloak, his feet shuffled just enough to begin moving
upward moving up the mountain to the peak where both their
prizes awaited, two blades of exquisite caliber that would
complete his set four legendary blades of the elements, while
one awaited the hands of the ninja that sat behind him, finally
his lips parted in an amusing laugh. He liked the man’s
cockiness and it would only add to the purpose of this mission
but he didn’t know half about this mission he knew enough to
reach the blades and what guarded the cave that was it.
“I don’t know much about this mission, I know what we seek and
the mountain we have to climb.”
His hand disappeared beneath his cloak and gripped the hilt of
the blade of air and lightning, pulling it from the side of his
waist and placed it behind him so the ninja could see the pearl
white blade, with the blue insignias the name of the blade
prescribed upon its blade and the mans arm though he couldn’t
see the tattoo, the blade though was drawn to the other two that
were hidden beneath the mans cloak, his golden eyes gleamed from
beneath the hood lightning now seeming to swirl within the dark
pupils.
“We are searching for the blades that match this one Monolisk,
the dreaded blade of nature, and Seitori, blade of the void and
their tests are harder than the other three blades trust me.”

"As a ninja going in blind is not my thing and does not work
well with me but to hell with it i havent had much fun in awhile
so this oughta be great" Kashuka laughed following closely
behind katsu. He began looking at the blade that katsu had
shown him wondering why it was so special and the blades they
were searching for were so special and what would these tests
be.
"so tell me more about you and the swords you already have if im
gonna work with you it would be vital to know you better then
just your name" his tone now getting more serious then before.
He followed closely behind katsu now leaving no more then a few
feet between them making sure to be behind him and use the
footing he had used.
Kashuka pointed to the blade on his back " this right here is my
dear friend muramasa he can be grouchy and rude sometimes but
you get used to him" as he spoke the sun shined off of the
black sheath as the red dragon started glowing bright red.

Katsu's eyes continued forward his feet resting one next to the
other stopping upon the rock at the peak of the mountain. His
eyes moved slowly to the sky and a smirk played on his lips at
the shadow that couldnt bypass the flames, he took a seat three
blades laying side by side next to him each blade one after the
next and each of them different than the one on either side of
it. His golden eyes closed for a second and his body moved
quickly to its feet and stood in the middle of the top of the
mountain the cloak that once covered his body now gone, thrown
off to the side each of the blades sheathed and clipped upon his
body two at his right side and one at his left, his long black
hair fell down his back each of the strands blowing within the
wind his golden eyes still closed everything calm for the moment
before parting his lips and speaking. The tattoo upon his bare
back now showing angelic wings that curled around to the front
of his body to his ribs and seemed to root themselves there.
"Tell me Ninja have you ever heard the tale of the slaying of
the gods"
As he spoke Katsu would begin drawing each of the blades
starting with the one at his left side, drawing the blade from
its sheathe revealed a sapphire blue blade that reflected light
through it like a block of ice that was yet perfected into
steel, each glimmer of the blade in the sunlight that had begun
its path along to switch places with the moon seemed to project
a beatiful light show amongst the rocks next to him and beneath
the blade. Going up the front of the blade inscribed amongst the
beautiful ice that lay there were the simple words of the blade,
the simple name and that was all, Mishreia, the guard of the
blade was a dark onyx black color matching that of the exquisite
writing of the blade, while the hilt had a sapphire blue
wrapping around it covering the hilt of the blade in the silk
like fabric. Katsu drug the blade through the air almost in a
slow like progress mimicking a dance with it, an icy glare was
left behind and the area seemed even colder that before the
tempature dropping to a very whopping low temperature.
"Well where our story begins there were four sisters each known
for an element they could control, the youngest of the four
sisters Mishreia, the blade here I hold in my hand was a master
over the element of water and ice, able to shape anything from
the two of them elements even sometimes even the other elements
thus assisting her sisters with their various powers..."
Katsu took the blade by the hilt and pressed the tip lightly to
the ground, a deep golden ice began to overtake the top of the
mountain freezing the entirety of the very rocks in the golden
ice before tossing the blade into the air watching as it faded
amongst the clouds and the wind upon the sky the sheathe
disappearing from his side as his lips parted once again to
speak the mystical words that came with each blade the one word
that defined each person, the one that meant the emotion they
held within each of their bodies.
"Mishreia, courage"
When the clouds cleared it was not a blade that landed next to
Katsu, but a small female girl in little to no clothing she had
wolf-like ears that protruded from the top of her head and a
bushy tail that peaked out from behind her. She wore no clothing
and her body had an icy like tint to it, she had long sapphire
blue hair that came down to the middle of her back and a small
rapier at her side. Her eyes were closed and she took a bow to
Katsu only seeming to draw a look of uninterest towards the
bowing girl.
"Can I help you my lord?"
The words quick and spoken in a child-like tone but with a hint
of elderlike tone to it, Katsu reached his hand out and placed
it within her hair, he rubbed his hand through her hair for a
second before she returned to a sword at his side. His eyes
closed again and he leaped up a few more stones and looked back
at the ninja boy his eyes reopening a sapphire tint to them.
"Come on I will explain more at our next rest stop for now the
shadow has by passed my flames."

the young ninja watched as katsu had done all this sitting their
in amazement that such things besides muramasa could exist. He
smiled at the young looking girl before she dissappeared
thinking to himself she kinda looked like his dragon smiling on
the inside knowing aurora would pick up on it. He nodded
following behind katsu having more questions but waiting until
the next stop staring back noticing the shadow growing ever
larger wondering what it really was. as he got tired of this
taking forever he reached for the sword on his back unsheathing
it wispering to himself wisper muramasa as a thin coat of
shadows wrap around any skin showing and his eyes glow red his
speed increasing well over 100 times. as he shoots past katsu
landing on an area of flat rocks several yards away waiting at
the top staring down at katsu putting his sword onto his back
again smiling.
