If there was one thing that stood out most about him, it
was how he always went overboard when it came to making things
up to people. When he heard the voice, he took a step back and
blinked a few times at the girl who answered the door. It all
fell into place and he felt even more prone to his overboard
ways as he knelt down a bit and held out the flowers and black
velvet box that had the lace dove charmed choker in it. "You're
the girl I ran into earlier on my way to work.. I'm so sorry
about that miss, and here I am troubling you once more because I
wasn't paying any attention. Please don't apologize for my
clumsiness. Here, to make up for troubling you." He said, that
smile clearly painting his lips as red orbs looked up at the
shyest face he had ever seen. Blond locks shadowed half his face
for a moment as he gently took the cell phone and card, grabbing
a pen out of his pocket and writing in red ink on the back of
it. "Here, I know I've troubled you a lot in the past few hours.
This is my cell phone number, my name is Iayzu."
Handing it back to her, he slipped his cell phone into his
pocket and looked up at her with that kind smile. "I'm sorry you
had to bare with my idiocy. I'm a bit clueless when I'm late for
work. And I'm sorry you couldn't have just left it at the
office, my boss is very weak hearted when it comes to shy women.
He would never let you come to the office because it isn't a
place for those who aren't aware of the line of work.." Standing
once more, he tilted his head a bit and chuckled lightly. "You
shouldn't look down though, you've got such a beautiful face.
You can call or text me when ever you like. If I'm not on the
job, I'll hurry to where ever you need me at. You kept me from
getting into a lot of trouble, miss. So I owe you. Anything that
you need, you let me know, alright?"

She slightly looked up as he knelt down a bit. Seeing the flower
and black velvet box, she couldn't help but blush. No one had
ever bought her flowers, and this was just because those people
thought it had been a trouble. "But... It..it was no trouble at
all..N-nor is this a.. a t-trouble." She sighed at her
stuttering, knowing she should just relax. It was rare she
stuttered, but with men, it was a whole different story.
Watching him scribble something on the card she gave him, she
tilted her head a bit. She slowly looked back at the flowers and
then at him again as he gave the card back. All she could think
was why. Why would he just give her his cellphone number? He had
no idea who she was. Sighing lightly, she offered him a smile
though. The blush was still quite apparent. "I am Mimi.." She
spoke softly, putting the card in her pocket. She switched the
flowers in her other hand and looked at his reddened eyes. She'd
never seen such eyes before. But then again, she'd never seen
such a handsome man before either. She had no idea what to say.
It was as if her mind went completely blank and just stared at
him for a bit longer as he spoke again.
So that was the reason why the manager didn't want her to go
there. It slowly started to make sense what the company was and
she frowned lightly. It was no wonder that such a beautiful male
could do such a job, it was just a shame he had to. Nodding
lightly, she tightened her grip on the flowers. "I understand.
And thank you.. for offering to talk or text whenever needed. Do
you need to go to work now though?" She asked shyly, tilting her
head up a bit more. The next comment he made caught her off
guard and her blush seemed to deepen even more. "Please.." she
just managed to say and started trembling lightly. "I.. I will
let you know.." She mumbled, quickly stepping inside her house.
She closed the door and walked to the living room. She felt a
few tears leaving her eyes, just letting them run down her
cheeks. It was rude to just close a door like that, but she
couldn't hold it back anymore. Not with those memories and being
called beautiful. She placed the flowers in a vase with water,
putting the velvet box down on the kitchen counter. She just
stood at the counter, wiping away her tears, sighing. "I'm such
an idiot.." She whispered to herself.

When she asked if he had to work right then, he quirked
a brow. Had she wanted him to stay? It was at that point that
she closed the door before he could answer. Had he done
something to upset her? He could hear the sniffling and attempt
at stifling tears, a frown creasing his lips. Thinking to
himself, he rubbed the back of his head and thought to himself
for a minute. What could he do? Was there anything he could do?
Mimi.. That was her name, such a befitting name for her as well.
Running thick fingers through blond hair, he looked to the hall
before he looked to the door once more. Leaning his back against
the frame of the door, he put his hands into his pockets and
sighed, looking up at nothing. "I can hear it you know.. Your
crying.. Was it something I said, Mimi? If so, I'm terribly
sorry. I had no means to upset you.. As for if I have work right
now, I don't. In fact.. Would you like to hang out with me?" He
said, just loudly enough to be heard through the door.
Looking down, he sighed deeply. "I know I'm a bumbling idiot,
and I cause more problems than I do any good.. Also that it's
not a very keen idea for such a lady as yourself to be seen with
the likes of filth such as myself, but.. If you wouldn't mind,
I'd like to take you out. I'd like to know more about the shy
girl I ran into in front of the library this morning. The one
that felt so light when I picked her up and put her back on her
feet, carrying a book she held so preciously. I'd like to get to
know you, Mimi. It's a rarity that I meet such a girl as
yourself, most of the time, they're very cold hearted women. You
on the other hand, seem very very sweet." Was it wrong of him?
To want to know someone that wasn't of the usual? To want to
know, Mimi? To want to comfort such a frail woman that was so
shy she barely even looked up or spoke in a straight sentence?
No, he wanted to know more about her. That couldn't have been
wrong, and it wasn't like he had an alternative intention.

He could hear her? But how? Were these doors not soundproof? She
sighed and just wiped the last few tears away. Should she
explain it to him? It wasn't his fault. He couldn't help it, nor
did he even know. She wasn't mad at him for it, but she just
felt stupid to explain it to him. It was probably silly to cry
over it anyway. Slowly but surely she walked to the door,
resting her hand on the doorknob. She listened to him speak
still, looking down once more. If only he knew what kind of
persons he was. Hell, who would want to hang out or get to know
such a shy girl better? It would probably be a waste of his time
anyway. Her hand started shaking more as it was resting on the
doorknob. Her other hand rubbing her eyes lightly. She opened
the door once more, not looking at his face at the moment.
"It..It's not you or anything. Just some memories.." She
whispered, her hands lowering to hold at her shirt once again.
She sighed lightly, shaking her head a bit. "It would probably
just be a waste of time for you. I don't do m-much.." She
whispered, closing her eyes. He did remember it was at the
library, which was nice.
His words, they were really sweet, but could she trust them? She
finally managed to look up at Iazyu, giving a slight smile. "Why
would you say that... f-filth.. You're not.." Her hands gripped
at her shirt tighter. It took her quite a lot of willpower to
keep looking at him, her gray blueish eyes just looking at his
own eyes. After a few seconds, she looked back down though.
Would it be a wise decision to hang out with him? She could use
some time out of her house. Always being so isolated wasn't good
either. She smiled a bit more, nodding lightly. "Alright..
I..I'd like to hang out... D-Do you know wh-where to though?"
she asked quietly, her hands now folding together, slowly
looking back up at him again. Maybe this was going to be some
fun time, instead of something bad. Not all was bad. She
couldn't believe all was bad, and he actually seemed really
nice. She just hoped, it wouldn't be an illusion and turn into a
nightmare, like the other man had done to her. Starting out the
same, as a dream, ending in a nightmare with just pain.

door, giving him some comfort to a tightened chest that he had
said something to upset her. When she said it was a memory, he
frowned a bit, turning to rest his shoulder against the frame as
he looked at her. "A memory, hm? It sounds like it's a pretty
painful one, I'm sorry for dragging it up either way." Pausing,
he hesitated before reaching out and gently resting his palm on
the top of her head with a smile on his lips once more. "I'm the

and crouched down to get to her eye level, smiling warily. "My
line of work is sexual, Mimi. I could've done so much else, but
I stuck with this job because it was easier. I worked for
nothing and along the way, I've made a lot of people cry because
they've come in while I was working to see their significant
other with me. That makes me no less than dirt."
Standing up, he smiled once more and kept one hand in his
pocket. "We could go anywhere you'd like. No matter where, we'll
go. To me, it looks like you don't like big crowded areas.. So
if you want to stay away from such things, then that's fine as
well." Thinking to himself, he looked up and scrunched his nose
in thought. "Even if you want to go shopping or just go to a
line of stores, it doesn't matter. You name it and we'll go." He
looked back down to her and smiled sweetly,"After all, I want to

It wasn't a shock at all when he explained what he did for a
living to her. She just nodded lightly, still disagreeing in her
mind. She used to have a friend who did the same, but she quit
and she hadn't seen her friend since then. All she could manage
for now was nodding once more. "Filth is just.. That word goes
too far.." She whispered, still facing the ground. She closed
her eyes and thought about things. It made sense to her why he'd
think like that, and she had no clue what to say to make him see
it different, but it didn't change her mind. He was still kind
to her, so she had no reasons to look differently at him either.
Now she looked back up at him, her eyes opening and smiled
lightly as he rested his hand on her head. It surprised her she
didn't back away at the touch, but it was apparent her body was
still trembling slightly. She looked him in the eyes still, and
as he got up, she took a deep breath. "Well.. I..I don't really
like shopping... We could go to a cafe, just to.. d-drink
something? And..t-talk?" She offered, stepping out the hallway
and closing the door behind her, locking it. She looked up at
the sky and slowly back at him. "I.. am not s-sure myself
w-where to go. I..I mean.. I-I don't go out much m-myself.

sweetly, slowly looking to the right, knowing there was a cafe
pretty nearby her house.

For such a lovely woman, she had too kind of a heart. That was
something he never really saw now a days. Smiling, he kept his
hand in his pocket and the other gently took her's, such a
dainty hand.. He was afraid he'd break her if he wasn't careful.
"Alright then, m'dear.. To a cafe we'll go." Tenderly keeping
his large hand wrapped around her's, he didn't bother with
lighting a cigarette this time, he didn't want to cause her any
troubles with the smell or ash. He knew of a few cafes and such,
there was one that was close by and one that was a little
further down. "Hmm.. So it's apparent you like books. Any
particular genre you like to read?" He asked, pulling his black
sunglasses from his chest pocket and slipping them on with his
free hand. "Oh, and I apologize if the color of my eyes
frightened you. I'm albino, so I have no color in my eyes, it's
just clear so you can see the blood vessels that are normally
hidden beneath pigments."
Pausing, he looked at her and smiled brightly. "I'm also good
for being used as a reflector!" Chuckling, he just wanted to
hear her laugh, even if he was making fun of himself. To make a
shy girl laugh, what more could a moron like himself ask for? It
was at that point that he heard his phone ringing and he got it
from his pocket, answering it and quirking a brow. "Yes, Koku.
No, tell them I'll take appointments at some other time, right

looking to her with a kind hearted smile. "Oh! Well you tell

ever she wants! And you better take care of her!" Koku was
practically yelling, it'd be no surprise if Mimi could hear him.
Chuckling nervously, Iayzu sighed out,"Of course, what do you
take me for? Some kind of jackass like you?" Before he could get
attacked, he hung up the phone and slipped it back into his
pocket, looking to her. "I told you he has a severe weak heart

The first thing she did was tilting her head when she took her
hand. The touch of his warm hand around hers made her heart skip
a beat. She just wasn't used to the touch at all. Her own hand
was really cold though. Her body was mostly cold to the touch.
She had no idea why, but whenever outside, it got cold. When
being inside, her body would warm up again easily. It was quite
odd, but that's what happened. Looking at him as he looked at
her, she smiled a she put on his sunglasses. "They didn't
s-scare me. It was just n..new to see." She said softly,
tightening her grip lightly at his hand. When he asked what
genre she liked to read, she smiled happily. Books were indeed
what she loved, and she didn't even have to think about it. "I
really like fantasy, or something where a lot of things happen.
Action and spy or thrillers are good too." She spoke a little
louder, seeming a bit more at ease now.
"Used as a reflector?" She looked at him and noticed how pale he
actually was, due to being albino. She giggled lightly at the
words, shaking her head. "Sadly, you c-can't really change
t-that." She whispered. As his phone rang, she looked at his
pocket and waited quietly as he spoke on the phone. She could
clearly hear it was the manager. As he used the word lovely, she
looked down, feeling a blush coming up again. Sighing lightly,
she tried to get a hold on herself, trying to get the blushing
away. She felt so silly. Like some little girl. She could hear
the words of the manager and simply smiled a bit, shaking her
head. "S-such a silly man." She whispered, walking with him. She
wasn't sure how to comment on his words. As she saw the cafe up
ahead, she smiled a bit more. Though, she did have a question on
her mind. Facing him for a moment, she took a deep breath. "How
come y-you are already so nice to me, w-while you d-don't even
know m-me yet?" she asked stuttering, feeling as if it was wrong
to ask such a question.

though when she stepped in front of him, he quirked a brow. Such
a simple question. Most would have some form of complex answer,
but he only had a simple one. One that he didn't hesitate on
giving her. "Simple. Why be crude to someone for no reason? Why

Sitting himself down across from her, he felt more at ease

She nodded to him, agreeing about the fantasy books. "I just
don't like princesses and all." She added to it, giggling
lightly once again. She looked at him as he gave the answer to
her question and lightly nodded. It was just that she knew
otherwise. That people were cold or distant because they didn't
know the other that well, or not at all. No one seemed to try
and get to know strangers anymore, but then there was Iayzu. It
surprised her that he wanted to get to know her, and she just
smiled at him. "You're a very n-nice person yourself. And
handsome.." she whispered, looking away for a moment, looking
towards the cafe. Slowly, her head moved back to look at him
with a smile still. "That.. shyness. It.. well I-I didn't use to

him. As she sat down, she was glad as well to be at the same
height level. He was around a foot taller than her, since she
was just five foot three tall. She placed her hands in her lap
automatically, watching his eyes and continued to smile. "It's
n..nice someone wants to get.. to know me." She whispered,
hoping they weren't for any ill intent. But then again, it
didn't seem like it at all with Iayzu. She moved her hand softly
through her long silvery hair, closing her eyes for a moment,
seeming to relax a lot more.
"Hmm.. some tea would be lovely. I love mango flavored tea." She
said with a sweet smile. As he asked for something to eat, she
looked at her watch, seeing it was around one thirty pm. "Well..
a nice egg sandwich is okay." She hoped he wouldn't think odd of
her choices. When she looked at his smile, that blush appeared
again, her back more against the chair as she felt nervous once
more. Looking around the cafe, her look stopped at a different
table. Her eyes widened a bit, and she immediately shifted
places so she sat closer to him, swallowing lightly. How could
that group be here? Her hands clenched to her shirt that her
knuckles turned completely white, as her look stayed on the
group, slight fear crossing her soft features.
