Re: Abyssal Training: Tsubaki, Mason, and Kota

At the sight of his smile, her own lips began to curve at the
corners, and she couldnt stifle the giggle that left from the
plump tiers. Lifting a small, delicate hand, she tucked dark
brown almost black hair behind a slightly pointed ear. Sapphire
eyes were locked on him now, and they were kind. Though she kept
this kind mask upon her face she was truly troubled...why hadnt
he become angered at the sight of his father? Why hadnt he
immediately lashed out at the sight. That man killed his mother,
and possibly helped in killing the remaining member of the
father he truly loved. Why was he so calm...so collected when
that image appeared. Would it have been her...she would have
lashed out at the image, real, or fake, just to get it out of
her sight....she'd now do that to a few beings should she ever
see them again. Rianna...Shawn. Gah the thought of those two
pissed her off to no extent, and it showed clear in her eyes
when they flashed from sapphire to an ice blue. She collected
herself then, and remained smiling at the boy before he as he
thanked her for "trying to help". Did he not realize that she
had already helped him? She could tell that she was reaching him
deep inside. Whatever guard he had held during this entire thing
was breaking. If Tsubaki couldnt get him angry, and then help
him to fix the anger, and hone it in...then she would break this
guard, and bring him back to Landon with a clear mind. Perhaps
he'd be able to show them all how he really felt then.
As he spoke, she listened. She didnt interrupt him, she didnt
look away from his eyes. She simply listened, and then laughed
aloud at what he had said. Gaining control over her amusement
she sighed, and shook her head,"Kota, let me tell you somethin'.
My life is a living hell. Its been hard since the day I was
born, and it wont get better anytime soon. I dont need your help
to make it worse because, in all honesty, there is no way that
it could get worse. Dear there aint no way for me to go but up.
Dont worry about it." She stared him down, and then rose from
her perch on the rock he now leaned upon. She stood on the rough
surface before she leaps from the high surface, and lands on the
ground, her feet sinking with a crunch in the snow. She then
turns toward him, his words striking her as a bit rude, and
highly offensive. Why must he speak of Dear Landon that way? She
may not be blood to the guy, and she may not be as close as
other were to him, but dammit she had history with him, and when
others spoke badly of him it pissed her off. She crossed her
arms over her chest, and narrowed her eyes at him,"You may have
some bad blood between the two of you, but dammit suck it up.
Speak about Dear Landon negatively when your not around me. Got
it? I have heard enough negatives thrown his way to last me a
lifetime, and my god Kota my life had been LONG. I can deal with
certain things. I can control my anger most times, but when
someone speaks poorly of him I wont stand for it. Now please
move on with this conversation. I do not wish to talk more of
that current topic."
She was angry now, but reeled it in. She breathed once, a deep
intake of cold, icy breath, and then let it all out in a single
exhale. Her eyes had turned ice blue, and the remained that way
when she resume her place upon the rock directly beside him. She
looked to him, and smiled acting like nothing had happened just
then. Like she didnt just defend a man who was perfectly capable
of doing so himself, and wouldnt have even let his fur bristle
should he have heard Kota's words, but she was the lone female
of the Abyssals. She had a role to uphold, and claws that could
never stay sheathed. She looked at him for mere moments as he
spoke once more. Addressing her Illusions now. He really
analyzed everything didnt he? What a charming, and clever lad he
was. "Unfortunately as of now there is nothing more we can do,
Kota." She stated simply. Wouldnt sugar coat the information,
but let it all out on the table. She couldnt do much more at
this very moment.
Then he seemed the be in pain. His hands shit to his head, her
icy eyes following them, and she tilted her head wondering what
was going on. Then it occurred to her that she may have just
gotten the sign she needed indicating that she was reaching him
the way she needed to. She did become a bit worried though. She
descended from the rock, and moved to his side,"Kota dear? Are
you alright? Will your head be fine?" her voice held worry, but
it also held curiosity. She ushered him to turn toward her, and
she sighed,"Training is over anyway. Let us head back to the
ruins shall we? We can figure out whats going on when we get
there....if you can move that is."

Everything with him seemed to just pass in mere moments. She had
already gotten slightly angry, then transferred back to this
sweet sounding woman. Were they really that close that it hurt
her to hear those things like it would him to hear the same upon
his family? However he had gotten a slightly lucky break. The
Dead state had held tighter the moment she began to get
aggressive about things. Even when Alivia had scolded him or
Magnus in his training, that had always been the case. He had
learned Ninjitsu from them and had become exceedingly fast as
well. Now here he was basically cornered while scratching at his
head to relieve some forms of pain. It was beginning to clear
though as she stated that, he had already completed this phase
of the training. " I suppose..." he said and stood up from the
rock ignoring any pain he may have had before to start walking
his way along to the little ruin place. " thank you for
everything." He said in a calmed blank tone and followed at her
side returning to the place where this had all started.
