XD I love you, Rai, and I know you're doing a damn good job; but
when it comes to putting the staff together via just simple user
vote, there's too many opinions. They need to be selected
accordingly. XD But I love ya for keeping things going and from
now on, I'm stepping up to do my job. (:

Jay, you're one of them. Along with Mike.
I took the initiative and -discussed- with Amaya what was going
on and I got dogged for it. How is that fair to anyone? And how
is that productive? It only proves that people should be
frightened and walk on eggshells. Something I DO NOT want for
this site. I want to encourage people to speak up and say what's
on their mind. We, as staff, are writers and MEMBERS of this
site, before we flash our badges. I don't know if this is in the
right place, but I just needed this off of my chest before I
crack. ^_^
The thing with Amaya, I had my reservations about her leadership
at first, but she's doing what she can to fix that. So, I
applaud that she's being an adult about this.
I say we don't sit around looking for shit to start. Only act
when need be. Let the GMs handle the people and issues unless
they HAVE to get admin involved. I'm for the people's freedom to
disagree and settle shit on their own. Not be marshal law and
have people walk on eggshells. What you said, Amaya, about me
was spot on. I will talk to BOTH users and see everything about
the case before I make ANY action. Whether I like them or not.
We all don't really like drama, but shit happens. Trying to
snuff it out before it starts only makes things worse.
Like boiling a pot of rice and covering it up. It only boils
over and fucks everything up. I like the freedom to disagree and
live. To grow together knowing each other's ideals and feelings
on things, rather than live of fear of the 'almighty hall
monitors'. I don't hold myself any higher than any of the staff
or users, because I AM a user. So, we shouldn't be expected to
hold our tongues or act all high and mighty like we could do no
wrong just because we have 'an example to make'. We're the same
people from MYB. The same family of people who love AND hate
each other's guts. Shit shouldn't change because of a red or
blue name.
Fights will happen. It's been going on all these years and we're
all still here. If things get out of hand, there is a way to
settle shit. By going to the piss forum and letting your shit
out. Or hitting the button and we, as staff, will work on fixing
the problem. I know I fixed a lot of shit between members around
here that not many people know or care enough to know about.
I mean, isn't that what the report button is for?
Sorry about that rant. I just needed to dump some stress off..

Y'see, that's why I made the Piss Thread. ^^ It was an idea and
I tossed it towards Athena and we both agreed that keeping the
drama out of the OOC was good but stomping it all out
immediately wasn't good. So the piss thread isn't under our
eyes, they can do what they want under their own decisions. If
you step in there, we can't help you, simple as that. (:
Discussing things and getting members to tell us ideas is what
needs to happen. They need to know that we're here FOR THEM. Not
because we need to treat them like cattle. ^^ So that is what
this thread is for, and yes, they do need to start using it
instead of snuffing their ideas and opinions entirely.

Spoken like a true adult! We, as role players and people, have
grown a lot, and the relationships we've built, whether bad or
good, have definitely been beneficial. Arguments are good, but
resolutions are better(:

Hmm..
Not really one to ever come up with ideas, but with the
explosion of literary art, [such as stories, poetry, and the
like] there should perhaps.. also be an actual artistic side.
Something which covers people's artworks, art contests, and
other various things. I'm aware that we have a gallery, but
that's not what I'm talking about with this.
Hear me out.
I simply mean that, while we're all -by technicality- artists,
there seems to be a lack of any actual 'art competitions' or
anything of the like. This isn't for everyone, by any means, but
it could -potentially- be a great addition to the poetry, short
stories, etc.. sections.
In any case, just a suggestion. Take it, or leave it. ^_^

DONT KNOW HOW ELSE TO DO THIS... SOOOOO
This site is way too focused on: By way of women finding it
absolutely necessary to post them or use them... Near naked,
provocative, sexually oriented, or excessively suggestive
pictures... WE get it.. you want us to think your character is
hot... but guess what.. not everyone is fucking gorgeous, and
sometimes showing all of that bullshit really does take away
from the roleplay...
This is my formal complaint regarding the matter.
Too many half naked, or partially naked pictures of women on
this fucking site.... Cant do anything during the day when my
little brother is around thanks to always scrolling through half
naked bullshit....
Either some form of censorship is installed or some style of
monitoring is put in place. Cause Im sick and tired of
witnessing every other female signature containing a half naked;
or in rare cases, entirely naked women flaunting or doing
something provocative. Lingerie isnt necessary in every pic. A
bra and panty set isnt what your fucking character wears on a
daily basis.. and hell.. even the one person who has their
character set as a fucking prostitute... doesnt look as much
like a fucking whore as all the other female characters out
there... thanks to the bullshit allowances of R, and R+ rated
material...
If IM sick of it.. Im sure there are others who find it
appalling as well........
Clothing, not just cloth.... its about giving people something
to admire, not ogle.. and damn it.. I find none of the women in
any of the pictures on here attractive.. especially not the
pictures of women flaunting their sexuality, and exposing
themselves... there are places for pictures like that, and as
such.. they should fucking stay there....
get pictures of your character fully clothed like they normally
would be, and when you need to describe them as wearing less...
do it.. DESCRIBE IT.. dont fucking try and show it... we are
writers, and we have imaginations.. we dont need to always
fucking see what you WANT us to think your character looks like
while nearly naked....
(spoilers arent for you to place provocative or half naked
pictures in... cause Im tired of scrolling down and having a
massive picture of a chick pop up and take away from the writing
I was TRYING to read)
