All good suggestions and additions.
Hilari-I think such a forum already exists, it's just rarely
used. I think the issue is moreso getting people to take
advantage of the various facilities provided to them, instead of
rushing to the OOC as soon as they log on.
Bella-Yeah, that was pretty much my proposal in a nutshell,
dork. xP
Vayne-You're right. The setup with one on one rps makes it
difficult to find an rp at any given time. I like your
suggestion, but I also think that people are starting to find it
difficult to keep a simple one on one rp going for extended
periods of time. The natural solution to this would be to move
said rp into a more public facility, where people are free to
enter and leave as they please. That, in combination with your
idea should improve that problem, or at least, I hope so
Also, I've submitted an RP concept from my own site that will
give characters from different rp "Universes" a chance to
interact with each other on somewhat common grounds. Be on the
lookout for information on that in the coming days.

Anessa
Now allow me to clarify the assumptions made upon me. Yes, most
of the staff are good friends of mine, but no; they are not made
staff members by just me. They are sent through the other staff
members for approval and such as well. I.E Ken, Jamie, Rai, etc.
Allow me to elaborate.
Athena- She was made staff for good reason, even though she's a
close friend of mine, you seemed to have not mentioned her in
that little post of your's.
Reason: She knows her way around the site.
She's lenient but not too lenient need be.
She doesn't just issue warnings, she dives deeper into the
reasoning of the actions taken and then after getting the
elaboration: she makes a decision based off of all information.
Mike- Here's the complete reason I made him an Admin.
Yes, he does have anger issues, but he has never once snapped on
anyone on this site.
He knows his way around the site.
He's tough but he doesn't judge without reason.
He doesn't issue warnings without good reason.
He was made an admin because yes, he's my best friend, but not
because of that: Because he was around all the time at the start
and he did what he was suppose to do and never did anything
without first asking me what he should do.
He communicates, unlike a lot of other people who don't have the
lady balls to tell me things they think I'm going to snap on
them for.
Ken- He was made admin after being approved of by the other
members of the staff.
Mike didn't even want to put him on the staff because of his
arrogance.
Thing is, he's not an asshole as you say. He only seems like an
asshole because no one tries to dive deeper into who he is.
Yes, he's close to me, but no: He wasn't put on staff because of
that. He was put on the staff because he does do a very good job
on the site. He ordered things, made things organized, and
helped out a lot.
He issued warnings when it was needed, mainly only verbal
warnings. There was no issue for him being on the staff, some
people didn't like him, but he did a damn good job.
Jamie- He was made an admin after staff approval as well.
Reasons: He's a damn good programmer.
He's a damn good writer, so he's good at helping people with
their writing.
He takes up these little jobs to help everyone out.
He isn't strict but he knows when to put his foot down.
He doesn't take shit from the members but doesn't overstep his
boundaries either.
He discusses decisions with the other staff members as well.
Greg- Though he isn't around often, he's like the go to getter
member of the staff.
When ever someone has any issue or something whether it be
personal or for the site or for their writing, he helps them out
without any complaint.
It's important to have very supportive people on the staff who
are willing to Rp and help other people without any issue.
He does his job when he's on and he doesn't hesitate to do it.
He's only a GM, not an Admin, but he doesn't mind that at all.
Now I can't help but notice you only mentioned people that you
don't like. People that have gotten mad at you or have treated
you ill for things that you've done in the past. Allow me to
elaborate on that.
Mike- You and him dated and you treated him like shit from the
get go and stranded him, he got pissed off at you and now you
two don't talk. (:
Ken- You and him have never gotten along.
Jamie- You and him got into a big fight if I recall correctly.
Greg- He called you out when you faked your death the first
time. (:
Now, if you think I do anything just to benefit myself, you're
clearly mistaken. If that was the case, don't you think I
wouldn't have let you back on the site, nor Nicole? Seriously?
Another thing, if I wanted to Benefit myself, would I pay for
the site? Would I put away so much of the little I make for this
site? How does that benefit me? Another thing, with the stress
that comes with all of this, do you think I'd seriously put this
much dedication into it?
You may not like me, and I may not like you, but you honestly
have no reach when it comes to the staff because YOU hate most
of the member I have on there. You make assumptions without
reason all the time about the reasons I have them on the staff
but you never once actually asked. ^^

Weren't some of the staff voted onto the staff in the very
beginning?

Oh yes, thanks for reminding me of that. (:
Most the members on the staff were voted in on by the original
staff members AND the USERS. (:

arguments like this are the reason I made my proposal in the
first place. I don't want anyone else attacking Amaya behind the
staff, or the reasons they were appointed, thus the
recommendation that it's started from scratch. But the question
now is, what are we going to do?

I have a proposal as well; for a permanent and more stable
change to the staff. It will be quite a process, but I believe
the end result will be beneficial. Simply put, we’re just
redoing the staff, but in order to ensure that it’s organized,
fair, and stable, there is a process that should be undergone in
order for it to go smoothly.
1.
the following things.
a.
for the site
b.
position?
2.
considered a staff member during this period on the site
3.
staff members as equals. A team of three trusted people will be
appointed as the panel to manage the “election.” They will be
granted temporary Admin powers in order to allow things to move
properly.
There are three steps to successfully nominating a member of
staff:
1.
member
2.
the nomination
3.
The rules for election will be as follows:
1.
staff members. It will be created in the form of a multiple
choice poll, in order for each member to vote for the proper
amount of staff members. Votes will be counted according to I.P.
Address, and only those who were members before the day the
forum was erected will be permitted to vote. This will eradicate
the issue of people voting with multiple accounts.
2.
election to take place. Those who fail to vote within the
allotted time will forfeit the right to a say.

^^ Here's an Idea that supports Rai's and Liz's.
We do a reelection.
We need to choose members wisely and based off of good values
and reasons, not personal ones. Pretty much doing what I did
before, but once again.
Then we discuss the reasons why they should be on the staff.
Then we put them up for vote on the OOC, like I am right now.
^^ Then we need to hold an election for temporary staff members.
Ones that will fill in for the perms when they're unable to be
on the site for a couple of days or weeks. Those temps should be
chosen the same way.

It shouldn't be in the OOC. It will end up buried and forgotten.
