Alright Im going to throw up some things that I think should be
discussed. and just some thoughts I personally have.
1. I feel that no matter what we do we ware going to be
condemned by some members. if we do not enforce rules we are
told we are doing nothing. Yet if we do someone turns us against
each other and says we are too strict we need to change this.
Here is my suggestion for that.
I think that the public is important as it makes the mass of our
community anyways. However I feel we need to stop baby sitting.
People here should be expected to act like adults and solve
their own problems. So what if a cussing match starts up be it
Admin or user or both involved. This is supposed to be a free
place and I feel that also involves having the freedom to bitch
at each other as we want. However IF four or more people were to
come to any one of us and say they don't like whats going on in
the forum. we would then move to tell them to take it else where
in a calm manner. If it continued I feel then punishment would
be necessary.
My suggestion for the punishment chain is as followed for all
members including Admins.~
If they continue after being told to take it else where, they
will be banned for one day. starting from the one next to
continue it, and both of them if they both retaliate.
after that day they would be warned that if it happens again at
any level of drama they will be banned for a week.
After that week if it were to continue and they still constantly
wish to start trouble well then they have lost their rights to
be here in my opinion. I know we want to let people stay to keep
our community and role plays going but serious what problems
revolving around rp have we actually had? Its all ooc and if
that is the case they aren't doing much for the site anyways. My
opinion.
I think few of us Admins are tired of the idea of baby sitting
and getting scolded because of tattle tales. People should be
able to sort their own problems out just like Admins should be
able to be the same as users with the few added benefits of
regulating strictly off the rules. It has not been that way
recently. People like to tattle and turn this admin against this
one, which shows we are a weak form and that they one
manipulating can sever our bonds that easily. We can not afford
to show that sort of weakness to the other users who depend upon
us.
again this is just a thought and don't worry i only have maybe
three things this being the biggest one so it wont be
ksd;fdjkfadls;fdsflong post thank god right? =)
2. I feel the over all structure of our site should be as
follows. again just a thought for better structure of the home
page. Ill likely do a look over to see forums that I think
should go in specific places in a bit to try and help out a
little I guess.
All of our suggestions and chats and rules should have a section
above everything else
then I feel that our out of character sections ( as suggested by
Nicole) should follow no preference as to what is in that but I
feel their should be something like~
OOC Discussions
StoryLine Discussions
Random Chitter Chatter about specific subjects.
Character Sheets
(and any other suggestions or whatevs)
The the In character section should involve this as its Order
Random Role Play
Mutliverse
Multiple Group Rps
Romance
One on Ones
Solo Rps
I think that covers most of it all really.
3. My final idea is the structure of our staff
I feel that at most 6-8 Admins would suffice
and 4 GMS
Suggestions for this include
Admin~
Amaya
Jack
Athena
JD
Chris
and the final three I have no preference because I don't see the
other Admins on often at all really. Like at all.
GM~
Yuro
Maru
Casey
Nicole
With that structure I feel we might get our best results. but
again this is all really just suggestions, and with the even
numbers (just possibly a bit of OCD XD)
Anyways that is all from me for now.

This is a good proposal. I only suggest one amendment.

I think that, instead of banning said person from the site, they
should just be banned from the OOC, if possible. There's no
reason to stop them from rping here. Just take their ability to
start drama. Then, if they choose to leave as the result of said
punishment, it's on them, and the staff has no reason to feel
guilty.

Like a suspension right, or temporary probation to see if it
changes the error of there ways.? I don't see why would they
leave ,there are not much sights out there that has an expansion
or rp forum to choose from these days anyway.

Honestly, I don't think we should try to moderate people. Only
the site. MYB worked well. Issues were soon solved. By trying to
force drama to not happen, we're only making it worse.

I have a proposal as well; for a permanent and more stable
change to the staff. It will be quite a process, but I believe
the end result will be beneficial. Simply put, we’re just
redoing the staff, but in order to ensure that it’s organized,
fair, and stable, there is a process that should be undergone in
order for it to go smoothly.
1.
the following things.
a.
for the site
b.
position?
2.
considered a staff member during this period on the site
3.
staff members as equals. A team of three trusted people will be
appointed as the panel to manage the “election.” They will be
granted temporary Admin powers in order to allow things to move
properly.
There are three steps to successfully nominating a member of
staff:
1.
member
2.
the nomination
3.
The rules for election will be as follows:
1.
staff members. It will be created in the form of a multiple
choice poll, in order for each member to vote for the proper
amount of staff members. Votes will be counted according to I.P.
Address, and only those who were members before the day the
forum was erected will be permitted to vote. This will eradicate
the issue of people voting with multiple accounts.
2.
election to take place. Those who fail to vote within the
allotted time will forfeit the right to a say.

For the record, I agree that there's no point in trying to
prevent drama. It's a part of human nature. It should only be
regulated once it gets out of hand.

I do feel we need some structure. just not to the level it has
been. I personally feel warnings are nothing more than a joke.
We should allow people to sort their problems by themselves but
if it starts getting disruptive they should be asked to take it
else where. it isn't being over powering that way unless they
just blatantly continue in which case we take them from ooc so
they can do what they are supposed to do here. for a time. then
return the rights. this way no one is forced to leave unless
they just go out of there way to take there bs into the
character forums. then thats enough. but if we don't have some
structure it gets far too out of hand. im suggesting the fairest
thing i can think of really.
Also agree with Raijutas proposal.
