The nod seemed almost dismissive of the previous event. That, in
my mind, had simply signaled for me to drop my hands and only
listen. This thing just seemed to be full of all sorts of
tricks, huh? Telling me where I was, what I didn't use to get
here – meaning time travel was out the window, and even the fact
it didn't have a name. It seemed awkward, though. What the heck
would I refer to it as?
Big-hunking-deadly-metal-beasty-motherfucker? I couldn't help
but start observing how the thing before me moved, though. All
its gears, pistons, joints and armor moved as if it were human,
but how it's speech was completely cybernetic – almost too
analytical for my liking. It had to be some kind of enforcement
model, though, so it was as easy as shrugging off.
At the hinting of my forearms, though, I couldn't help but look
down and groan at the sight of crimson now staining my white
wraps. If they were black, it'd be a different story, but this
was just beginning to annoy my OCD. It was better than nothing,
though, so I only let the warning about my forearms pass and nod
before taking a good look at the robot again. This time, my eye
caught a symbol, and the name muttered from my lips, yet no
sound came forth, mimicking the word “Zaraki” without actually
speaking. It was a name, at least, and could be useful.
Especially with the warning the being just gave me. Apparently
some badass lived where I crashed, and it'd only spell a pain in
the neck if I stuck around.
“So I guess I'll tail you, pal.” I said, now pacing forth to
catch up to the machine. “I don't know shit about this place
except what you told me. An acquaintance is better met first
than an enemy.”

Today was the day I would be trying to practice my magic more. I
had to become stronger to still be able to protect my people. As
the Princess of Magic, I had to make sure I could protect my
people. As I stood in my room, I watched the mirror, seeing a
light energy form from my right hand. It was still packed with a
lot of energy, which made me smile. "At least I haven't lost
that touch yet." I whispered to myself, covering the mirror with
the blinding light. The mirror suddenly started to crack and it
made me frown a bit. My beautiful old mirror suddenly broke. It
was odd. My fingers softly trailed down the mirror, as I noticed
the light flashing brightly. Narrowing my eyes a bit, I felt my
hand being swallowed by the mirror. Eyes widening, I quickly
pulled my hand back and took a few steps back. Though, the light
shot towards me, my magic seeming to backfire at me. How was
that possible? I didn't get it at all. Feeling my body getting
lighter, it suddenly disappeared from my room. I simply
disappeared by my own magic? I didn't intend to use
transportation. When I landed on the ground, the first thing I
felt was a whole different energy and winds. Was I at a complete
different place? Looking around, I didn't recognize anything at
all.
I took a few steps across the land, my magic having disappeared
for the moment. Sighing in frustration, I needed to know where I
was. When I suddenly heard a cyber-like voice, I instinctively
hid behind a big boulder. My body was petite, so it was easy to
hide behind the boulder. I then also heard a different voice,
but that one was more human like. Frowning in confusion, I
turned my head around the boulder, hearing what they were
talking about. The 'robot' seemed to be kind enough not to
attack the man. The man seemed disoriented too, so maybe I
should just ask where I was too? Taking a deep breath, I managed
to gain my courage and stepped towards the both of them. Looking
at the man first, I tilted my head lightly before my eyes landed
on the robotic figure. I removed a strain of my short white hair
out of my face before speaking. "Uhm.. I'm sorry to be rude and
interrupt, but what is this planet? It surely isn't my magical
kingdom." I spoke in a sweet, quiet tone. I simply waited,
keeping an eye on the other man as well. If they decided to
attack, I had to be prepared for that. A soft smile kept playing
on my face. I just wanted to return home, that was all.

In response to the man's voice and seeming request, the TX's
mechanical voice sounded again. "Affirmative. Primary objective
is to return to base. Infirmary and armory to be located shortly
after, for repairs." It wasn't as though the machine had ignored
the other voice which now registered to it's audio-sensors, but
the current parameters wouldn't allow the machine to freely
interrupt it's conversation. Knowing the male creature was
following it, the larger of the two came to a stop in front of
the new creature.
When the creature spoke, the unnamed mechanical being's head
tilted as the gears and servos in it's neck spun wildly.
"Current location.. District.. West Zion. Region.. Rune
Midgard.. Planet, Andromeda Prime, galactic location.. Andromeda
Star System. Scanners indicate this Magical Kingdom does not
exist on this planet. Nearest reading for such a name is five
hundred thousand celestial units away, or the equal of fifty
light years. Easily reached by TX-Sabre-Wolf. Fastest ship in
all of Andromeda's fifteen planets." Then, an inquisition
occurred. "State identity, female."
But, before the mechanical being would allow an answer, it
seemed logical that a proper introduction was in order.
"Designation... TX-9255. Classification.. Judge. Jury.
Executioner. Bloodrose Elite Task Force Squad Name.. Zaraki.
Rank.. Bounty Hunter."

First there was the confusing Tokugawa Era, then the robot, and
now a princess who didn't fit here at all. What the hell was
going on here?! This was way different than my own realm – let
alone my comfort zone. The girl seemed harmless enough, but if
she was anything different than Earth, then holy shit would I be
in for a spin. So instead of just shoving my “religion” into the
mix for lack of better wording, I simply stuffed my blood-soaked
wrapped bandages into the pockets of my TKD pants and watched as
well as listened. The Cyborg was giving its run-down of a
missions-list and it didn't seem to mind my trailing, so my
attention turned back to the girl. She wanted to know where the
hell we were too, but before I could give my own little
rendition of what this place was, the Cyborg which designated
itself as Zaraki spat it all out. That all only seemed to take
around thirty seconds of all our time...Which now made me wonder
why I was keeping track. Guess it was an OCD with time?
Didn't matter. “Zaraki” as it called itself introduced itself to
the girl, so it'd be rude of a human as myself to pass up the
chance to show a foreign kind of hospitality. Instead of simply
yanking out my hand as I normally do to shake hands or bump
fists, I simply let my upper body tilt forward slightly as well
as my head, giving her a curt bow before coming back up and
looking straight towards her. Had to admit, though; the fact I
was STILL out here with no shirt was creepy, but what was worse
was the fact I was getting used to being in just TKD pants and a
fabric belt to hold them up. I couldn't think upon that, though.
Being rude would've been a problem. Hell, maybe I was the first
Earth human in a long time? Sure didn't want to look like a
jerk.
“Nice to meet ya,” I said with a slight smile, raking my hair
out of my face. “Name's Casey. May I know yours for now, or
should I just refer to you as Ms. Mystery?”
It was all in humor, of course, and I hoped that the smile would
tell her so, but some people simply couldn't take a joke. It was
at that thought it hit me, though- That supposed macho
motherfucker who lived in the house I crashed into was gonna be
ticked something bad if he saw me standing around here. Surely
it'd be a bad idea to keep the girl around here, but I had no
doubt the cyborg with all its armament could hold it's own. With
that, and a quick tilt of my head, I ushered the girl to come
forth and follow, now hoping that we could simply skip the
confrontation that could happen. Who knew? The guy could be out
of town or even running late by an hour. I sure as hell wasn't
going to find out.
“Uh, Zaraki here was gonna show me around. Care to join? Love to
have company, Ms. Mystery.”

I just watched the cyborg before me with a confused look at
first. Listening to it's mechanical sound, I sighed lightly.
This surely wasn't my home planet. And from what I heard, it was
way too far to use my magic to get back. Tilting my head a bit,
I smiled lightly. At least I found people here. A cyborg and
another person. Looking at the man again, I couldn't help but
notice the lack of clothing. Disregarding that for now, my eyes
set back upon the cyborg. I couldn't help to feel a bit odd when
he spoke and identified me as a female. "Well of course I'm a
female. Robots.." I mumbled lightly. It was nice to know where I
was though. But fifty lightyears away was so far. And I had no
idea if I could even reach back to my homeplanet with my magic.
Looking at my hands, I tried to manage to bring back my magic.
My hands lit up brightly. Clenching my fists, it disappeared
again. A content smile spread my lips, nodding to myself.
"Good.. it still works here." I whispered, slowly looking back
up.
Watching the man now who seemed to bow to me, I bowed back,
sinking lightly through my knees. I took the fabric of my short
dress in my hands, bowing back. Hearing the man speak, I
couldn't help but giggle a bit. He seemed to have a touch of
humor, which was nice. "Ms. Mystery sounds good enough to me. At
least Mystery starts with the letter M. Just like my name." I
spoke softly at first, looking over the man momentarily. "My
name is Mimi. It's nice to meet you, sir Casey." Smiling, I
turned my head to the cyborg. "As well as meeting you, sir
Zaraki. And I thank you for the information." My eyes went back
to the man named Casey, tilting my head a bit. "Show you around
here? How kind of him. I'd like to join, if Zaraki doesn't mind
that is. I need to come up with an idea to return to my home,
without having to use that ship. I hate flying in ships." I
spoke in a soft tone, still smiling a bit. I had no idea why
Casey seemed a bit on edge, but maybe I'd ask later. "Aren't you
cold though? In just those pants?" I asked curiously, tilting my
head a bit. Looking back at Zaraki, I nodded lightly. "May I
join you as well?" I asked politely, waiting for it's answer in
silence.

In response to the question to join, 'Zaraki' simply began
walking before speaking. "We don't have long until the bandit
gets back. You two come with me. Be quick." Walking in front of
them, the mechanical being's scanners continously scanned the
area for signs of danger as they made their way back to the
base. The machine didn't truly care, one way or another, what
they called it but it was going to take a while for it's
programming to fully recognize 'Zaraki' as it's new name.
Something the machine simply lacked the programming, for the
moment, to do.
"Welcome to Zaraki squad." The machine's voice chimed in as it's
body shifted slightly; taking on a more combative stance as it
moved. Torrents on it's shoulders, barrels coming from it's
hands, the TX was ready for combat; in case it needed to occur
soon. Suddenly, however, as the trio was walking, Samonosuke
made his appearance. The roughneck looked to be on the verge of
losing his sanity. Noticing the appearance, the TX spoke again.
"You two. Go. Target is acquired. Get to base. Straight ahead."
As it spoke, the TX pointed to the large building three blocks
away.

So...What did I just see? Recap again? Okay, so first there was
the falling-out-of-the-sky-right-into-the-Tokugawa-Era-mimickry,
then a cyborg, a girl who didn't fit here at all that somehow
got here just as confused as I am, and now she was doing weird
magic energy shit?! Let's...Take a step back here. My right hand
came up to massage the bridge of my nose as I listened to Mimi's
responses, almost hesitating to answer. A lot of this was about
to get very, very difficult if I was just a human. What the hell
could I do here, anyway? Far as I know, the only thing I had
going for me was the fact I didn't die when I slammed into a
building. Maybe extra tough body density? Hell if I knew.
“Cold?” I asked, almost dazed from the increasing amount of
oddity I had to take in. “Nah, I don't feel the cold. Something
about my nervous system.”
I didn't have much time to say anything more than that though
when I caught Zaraki's next words. Samonosuke what's-his-face
was gonna be here soon, and apparently that soon was only going
to be in the next few seconds. That much was apparent when
Zaraki's body began to change – now seeming to take on more of
an aggressive demeanor before I heard the raving lunatic. This
wasn't going to be good, and the hand that raised to cradle my
face in its bloody bandages suppressed a sigh that parted my
lips. This, of course, was my fault, and apparently the man was
throwing out hateful, threatening slurs to anyone who wouldn't
tell him who had done what. He could hear that much. So what the
hell else was I supposed to do? TKD, Wushu, and Krav Maga versus
a nutcase hell-bent on beating more ass than was necessary. Fair
fight?
More importantly, was there a choice?
“This one's my fault,” I called out, turning to face the man
with my hands coming up. Both palms were turned so they were
halfway to being pointed forward, with my right hand near my
face and my other up and a little further forward. All the same,
my feet took parallel positions to my hands, my right foot back
and my left foot forward. Both feet were about shoulder-width
apart, and for now, I kept in a neutral stance. “Shut up and
come get some, or does beating up on old ladies and kids half
your size and definitely not as ballsy seem more appealing?” My
eyes then flicked to Mimi as my head tilted towards the
direction Zaraki pointed. “This one's on me. Now I'm going to
fix it. I'll see ya there, yeah?”

Watching the cyborg suddenly change it's appearance after a bit
of walking, I frowned lightly. What was going on here? I had no
idea there was some crazy wacko nearby. Seeing the man who was
on the verge of losing it's sanity, I sighed a bit. Watching
Casey take a stance, I simply tilted my head. My eyes went back
to the cyborg who pointed out towards a building. Apparently
Casey wasn't planning to go there. What if I went there alone?
Should I help here? Crossing my arms, I kept thinking on the
matter. Since Casey wanted to fight the big guy, I just stepped
to stand behind Casey. Tapping his shoulder lightly, my magic
surrounded him as a shield and adding strength, if his body
would allow it. "You can do it." I whispered, smiling a bit.
Stepping back from him, I walked over to Zaraki. Adding my magic
to his machinery, it would improve the gadgets and firepower. If
it would allow of course. "Well, I'll be waiting at the
building. Not too fond of battles." I added with a giggle,
shaking my head a bit. Clasping my hands together, light
surrounded my body. "But, before I leave, one nice gift for our
big guy." My hand moved towards Samonosuke, the light flashing
towards it's eyes, only blinding him if it hit his body. After
that, my body disappeared in the light.
Appearing at the building, three blocks away, I sat down and
sighed. I did feel bad for leaving them behind like that. I
could help with my magic, but it seemed to be clear to me that
Casey wanted to fight alone. Why bother, when human beings can
be so stubborn. I had noticed he was just human, yet there was
something odd about him. Shrugging it off, I looked up at the
sky. Creating a mirror with my magic, I could watch over the
fight for now, making sure to step in when it would become
critical for the both of them. Moving my hand through my hair, I
couldn't do much more than to wait. Hopefully my magic would be
able to support the both of them, but I wasn't sure about it. I
never used magic as a support on humans or cyborgs. Just my own
people. Biting my lip, I just wished for the best.

Scanners no longer picking up on the strange girl, now instead
watching Casey and Samonosuke, Zaraki tilts it's head; the gears
and servos in it's neck making that same familiar whining and
turning noise. "Release the inner warrior. Become the warrior
poet you desire to be. This will aid your struggle." With that,
the machine reached up and grasped a handle.. a small dagger
type weapon, and tossed it to Casey's right side; allowing it to
land on the ground. "Awaken the soul of steel. Protect that
which is sacred to you. The girl is counting on you.' Then,
splitting in half; rather, allowing the two halves to uncouple,
Zaraki split into two separate beings. One stayed with Casey,
the other took off towards the girl. The cyborg who stayed with
Casey was a small one, roughly the same size as the man; the
other larger one had already left to ensure the girl's safety.
[shadow=green,left][glow=red,2,300]~Enter Samonosuke: The Bandit
King of Western Zion~[/glow][/shadow]
Samonosuke, the rather large and frightening man whose home
Casey had crashed into, stood roughly six feet and over two
hundred ninety pounds; wielding a mask and very long black hair.
On the right breast pocket of the man's jacket was the kanji for
'bad' and it seemed to fit. Red eyes glaring at Casey, despite
the magic blinding him partially, Samonosuke responded in anger.
"What the hell happened to my house?! You! You destroyed my
house, didn't you, you little bastard!?"
Shouting in anger, Samonosuke took the chain whip from his belt
and spoke again. "I am Samonosuke Chikaku, and this is my town!
I'm going to beat you into the ground, you wretch! You'll be
sorry for destroying my house!!" The crazed man then began
repeatedly launching the whip, trying to strike Casey if he
wasn't careful.

Everything I said was meant to goad the man and discourage Mimi
from being there. If he really was rough and tough and anyone
else got hurt due to this fuckin' brute, things would've gotten
more messy than they already were. It was a relief that she took
my advice at that point, but the feeling of her magic beginning
to coat me was...Strange. My muscles felt slightly more dense,
though it didn't seem as if I gained any weight at all, and my
energy was much higher. Now I knew I could take this guy.
Especially when I watched the bolt of magic she flung next hit
square into the man. Whatever it did, it seemed to leave him
disorientated, which was good enough for me, though I wouldn't
charge in just yet.
For now, I didn't exactly pay too much attention to what was
said, but instinctively snapped my hand out to catch the blade
upon its descent, not allowing it to hit the ground as one would
believe it would. The styles I knew were well enough for that.
Whatever it was saying seemed as if it would be important, but
the ramblings of the crazed “bad” guy as the Kanji pointed out
was drowning it out. It also drowned out most of the sounds of
steel separating and reforming. It was cute, though, how the man
thought that announcing his name so boldly would make me scared
of him as well as lashing out with his chain whip. He was
partially blinded, though, so I only had to weave to my right
far enough to barely miss the first crack before snapping my
left hand out at the second. What I felt as I pulled the chain
back during it's motion was...Strange, but it seemed to have an
effect on everything about me – strength, speed, reaction time,
and I was going to capitalize. By having snatched the whip and
used its Kinetic energy to boost myself, my left foot came up
high and stomped hard on the chain that was pulled taut between
him and I. I knew this would send him off balance, and since the
chain wasn't too terribly long, it'd more than likely send the
man off balance and straight into me.
Now it was my turn. As the man would begin to stumble forward if
he could not counter the displacement of his weight forward, my
body would spring straight towards him, gripping the blade
tightly in my right hand and keeping it near my face until I
would only be just out of arm's reach of the man. Once I was to
this point, I'd swing the blade out hard as if throwing a right
Kickboxer's hook, keeping it tight and close to home so that,
even if the man tried to block the hit, the likelihood of the
man being sliced would still be quite high and do more than
enough damage to ensure he would check his reckless blows.
Though just after, if he managed to duck away from the strike,
my body would twist in the air and, if he did duck or dodge
away, as I would pass him, my left foot would whip out, not only
using this twist to make him draw nearer, but to more easily
land a blow behind his head.
“If anyone's going to be sorry for anything,” I growled, my
teeth bared. “It's going to be you for terrorizing everyone over
some stupid fucking shingles!!”
