       Andromedia +Home of the Sixth+
By: MrMaru Date: March 27, 2012, 1:48 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
A realm of nigh infinitely replenishing energy, created from the
catastrophic release of Letum Tempestas and Marianna when they
simultaneously shattered in a violent explosion of raw archaic
power. From the explosion, overseen by the God of Destruction,
the Demon God of Six molded the flaming mass of energy into an
ever expansive blob which eventually took the form of a
super-massive planet with a super-massive vortex in the center.
When energy doth enter the vortex, who's gravitational flow
rivals that of the depths of a black-hole, the matter is
condensed and compressed into tiny runes; one by one, filling up
with untold amounts of raw power from the vortex. However, as
the runes doth grow in number, they're shifted -automatically-
from Andromeda Alpha's core, to the excessively dense -but
hollow- planet Andromeda Zeta. This planet, however, has a nasty
little secret. Because it's comprised of over nine billion
runes, and because of the immense pressure put on it's core, the
resulting vortex which surrounds Andromeda Zeta constantly
consuming the nearly instantaneously replenishing runes and
sending them to an entirely different verse.
That different verse, of course, the circular hand guards of the
twin-dual katana 'Ryujin Jakka' or "Flame Blade" when released
from it's sheath which collects the excess energy and has been
crafted in such a way as to transfer the excess energy to that
of an unbreakable chain which encircles it's master and acts as
a guard; nullifying energy attacks and emitting a constant
-though not always faint- aura of shadow; forever binding the
Demon God of Six, the Shadow Wraith, and Ryujin Jakka together,
       for all eternity.
To ensure that not just anyone can reach the Andromeda
star-system, however, the system has -itself- been locked into
the astral plane in an entirely different dimension in a
parallel universe; rendering it virtually inaccessible to anyone
but one of the Demon God of Six [or his daughter] to even get to
       without the corresponding key.

This was truly strange. How long had it been now? God he didn't
even remember. Not that that really mattered anyway. He finally
got to this awful place. Looking around at this god forsaken
city, he did have memories from it. Zion was it? Even that was a
haze. All he did here was finding his brother though. Everyone
probably already thought he had died anyway. Everyone thought he
hadn't survived massive battles. Well they could think again
because he had not fallen. He was alive and well, feelings of
anger and hate coursing through his veins. How could his own
brother leave him like that? Sure, they had a hateful
relationship from the beginning. Always wanting to be better,
but that didn't mean he had to leave his own brother like that.
Gritting his teeth, Akita simply followed the trail through the
city. "Brother brother, where are you." He mumbled in a heavy
tone, sighing deeply. Yes, he did know they shared the same last
names. Maru and Bloodrose. Got confused for him already, people
wanting to battle him. It was annoying really, to always
convince others I was not my older brother. For god's sake, they
didn't even look like eachother. Or so that was what Akita
thought. He had his own name yes, but he absolutely despised it.
Looking around the city, there was not much that interested him.
Maybe his brother indeed lived in this castle? Looking up, he
could see the castle at the end of the city, which was a shame.
Shaking his head, he just hoped he was wrong and he would walk
into his long lost older brother here.

With a sigh, then a twitch, he walks out to the edge of the
castle; gazing down. Tilting his head, he blinks in horror.
"What the hell? My brother lives.. This can't be..." Then,
jumping from the ledge, he phantom steps down and continues
dashing towards the approaching man. Silver hair, golden eyes,
claws.. maybe it truly.. but no.. he was dead! who was this
man?! Lord Maru came to a stop in front of him; a white
ceremonial kimono donned, two katanas at his right side and a
bottle of sake at his left. He gasps. ".. B.. Brother!?! Is that
       you?!"

Narrowing his eyes a bit, he could see a figure going down the
castle. Rolling his eyes, he knew it was his brother already.
Always seeming to show off. As the figure dashed towards him,
he just put his weight on his right leg, waiting. It didn't take
long at all as his older brother stood infront of him. His own
ears twitched lightly at the sight of his brother, but he smiled
simply. "Well well, thinking I was dead huh? You look so
surprised my dear brother. Only you and I know my name, which is
Akita. Such a shame I didn't die hmm? Look, this sword is proof
too. You gave it to me." He spoke calm, pulling out his sword,
just to show him. It indeed had his brother's name carved on the
blade. "It saved me. I got to thank you for that." He said with
a chuckle, putting his sword away again. "God you haven't
changed." He said with a low voice, tilting his head a bit to
the side. "So yes. It really is me." He spoke once more, to just
make sure to his older brother he wasn't dreaming.

Nodding to his brother, looking to the sword, Maru nods and
sighs. "Brother, I'm sorry. I didn't think you survived. I
searched for a thousand years..." He trailed off, then sighed
and shook his head. "But by the time Rune Midgard was salvaged,
       I thought you'd already burned to death.. I didn't know.. I
couldn't stop it, brother..." In truth, Maru was shocked, and he
sighed. "Akita.. please.. brother.. believe me. If I would've
thought you'd still be alive, I would've done even more to try
       to find you."

Akita just watched his brother, frowning lightly at his words.
Did he hear this right? He apologized? And he always thought
they hated eachother. It was nice to see his brother actually
cared though. Nodding he just shrugged. "Well, most thought so.
But thanks to my coat and blade, I managed to get myself out of
that mess. It does make me wonder why you wanted to search for
me in the first place. I thought you'd be happy if I was dead,
and unhappy now that I am here." He said calm, crossing his
arms, huffing lightly. "Although, I'm hungry." He added with a
       chuckle, shrugging once more.

Oh this was just fuckin' peachy, man.
It was right before graduation when shit went down. We were all
at my sister's, minding our own business and simply celebrating
the fact that I was going to get my high school diploma
tomorrow. Well, whatever “tomorrow” is now before we heard
someone parking outside. I was sitting in the living room, just
relaxing and enjoying a buzz when I looked out the window to see
two forms exiting a beat-up Escalade, and I could remember
thinking “Who the fuck would let that thing get dinged up?” but
that didn't matter after just a few seconds. One of them slipped
up when they pulled out a micro SMG and cocked back the charging
lever. That's when it was on. They were about forty feet away
down the hill in front of my house, which gave me enough time to
get everyone to scramble and ready. Myself? I was darting for
sis's room and snatching up the winchester lever action and
       loading it with rounds.
Only, that took too fucking long and before I could actually
kill the first one, he sprayed me with the SMG
and...well...Wait, what the fuck am I doing, anyway? Am I...
       “Falling...?”
The words parted my lips as a rhetorical question. The Vertigo
was undoubted, and since vertigo meant you were in the air, then
of course I was falling. Having come to this realization, my
body slowly began to turn in mid-air to face behind me, which
now showed a very quickly nearing picture of...What the hell was
this? The Tokugawa era?! I couldn't help but suddenly flail and
try to right myself in the air as I came only a hundred feet
from smacking into the nearest adobe shingled roof, but that all
seemed fruitless along with my sudden scream. The ground just
seemed to have a hell of a vendetta, and the roof I was about to
slam into was like an open right hand swinging for the fences,
and my head was the baseball.
“Ooooooh SHIIIIIT!!!” I screamed, now trying to cover my face.
Just after, I could feel the hard raking of stone shingles
against my forearms from the impact, hearing and feeling them
break beneath my slight weight. What was strange though was the
fact that I could feel the adobe splintering and pelting my
abdomen, which didn't feel like what it did before, not to
mention the fact that it didn't feel buffered as if I was
wearing any upper garment. But I didn't have time to think
further on it as I felt the last of the roof give way and my
body slip off the edge, hitting the hard ground beneath me and
rolling with the forward motion until I rested belly-down and
hands on the back of my head.
It took me a few minutes to adjust to the sudden feeling of
stopping after such a long fall, but after that was just a
matter of standing and brushing myself off. A quiet slur of
curses slipped from my breath as I wiped the blood that oozed
slowly from my arms onto the black, baggy pants that I had just
taken into notice I was wearing. What the hell were these,
anyway? To my knowledge, they were like baggier versions of
Taekwondo pants, only black instead of white, which rested at my
navel rather than slightly farther below as they had normally
done. These left the ankle wraps that cushioned my shins
slightly exposed. Upon further investigation, similar wraps
covered both of my hands in a thai fighter's style which came up
to half-forearm. That, at least, would explain why all the
bleeding stopped at a certain point.
“Alright,” I sighed under my breath, looking about in confused
disbelief. “So, uh...How the fuck did I get here?”

Sitting in the shadows, above the West Zion food sect, a
cybernetic being in long black baggy -metallic- pants with a
long dark blood red trench-coat jacket -also metallic- turns
it's head slightly; servos winding as it's optic and energy
sensors pick up on a crash. Standing, the large being took off
jumping from the rooftop, landing on the ground below with a
thud as the gears and servos turned and whined in it's legs, the
creature takes off towards the crash site.
Cruising through the streets to the area in which the impact
occurred, the TX came to a stop in front of the abnormality.
Standing at just over seven feet, two inches, the seemingly
completely mechanical being tilted it's head. It's skull-like
face gazing at the being, it's long 'antenna' on back of it's
       head appearing as a tail of sorts; covered by fiber-optic wires;
serving as hair; standing up much like a spiky haired man's
would. It's crimson optic sensors locking onto the creature, the
being's jaws unhinge slightly as it begins speaking; the gears
and servos clearly seen as it's jaw moves. A somewhat mechanical
       voice coming forth.
"Halt! This is the Loki-District of West Zion! If you don't
desire to be killed, I suggest coming with me." As he stood
there, nearly motionless, the strangely complex being held two
five and a half foot long gun-blades on his back; as well as
weaponry in it's palms, and everywhere else; covered by armor
thicker than that of even titanium. "State your name. Scanners
indicate you aren't from around here."

There wasn't seeming to be any hint that I was in any kind of
modern time...Was I really shot so badly it really knocked me
back a few hundred fuckin' years?! That'd be officially the
worst ass kicking I took, and considering I would be dead from
that, it made sense. The people whose house I crashed into
didn't seem to be home, and that was a relief considering I'd
probably get jumped for the damage done – one long, deep skid
mark right down the middle of the roof, with the shingles in
pieces on the ground in front of the house's entrance. It did
seem like I was getting a few off stares and glances, though,
some scolding, others confused or worried about their own
general safety. They were all dressed traditionally – largely
       more modest than myself and-
       “OHWHATTHEFUCK?!”
The sudden appearance of the cybernetic being was a complete
shock which made me step back a few paces, quickly getting into
a neutral TKD guard; hands up uncurled to eye level, one near
the chin and the other six inches forward from it, and the
adjacent feet lined with them. Both feet were shoulder length
apart, with the mechanical man's center line square between my
feet. The humanoid machine felt out-of-place in this area – what
the hell was a thing like this doing in this era?! Upon it
beginning to talk, though, things started clicking into place,
and both of them seemed highly illogical. With this situation,
though, what the fuck was logical anymore? So I allowed myself
       the couple seconds to think.
Either one; I was in the future where people found a perfect
balance between old and new, or two; I was in another realm. The
first seemed more easily explained, but why did I have to fall
through the fucking air to get to it?! Couldn't I have just …
Woken up in a lab or something to be eased in to the future? So
what about the second? At the command to stand down or die,
though, I could only sigh and cut off my thoughts before simply
raising my hands and putting them behind my head, my feet taking
a more neutral, relaxed stance. I knew this drill well enough. I
also didn't need to take more than a glance to know that I was
       outmatched as far as weaponry.
“Goddammit...” I muttered under a sigh, shaking my head. “Name's
Casey. Of course I'm not from here. I fell outta the sky. No
joke, either. Got the scratched up forearms to prove it.”

The audio-transmitters picking up the creature's voice, the TX
simply nodded; the data quickly being compiled. "Then, welcome,
Casey. This is Western Zion, in Rune Midgard, on Andromeda Prime
in the Andromeda Star-System. Scanners show no chronotonic
particles, indicating time travel was not the cause of your
inception." Upon the TX's right breast plate would be the
insignia of the Bloodrose Royal Family; a scorpion entwined in a
rose with a paw print design around the edge of the rosebud. "If
you desire my name, there is no placeholder."
Turning around, hip joints pivoting under the heavy drapes of
metal, the machine spoke again. "You're damaged. Analysis
indicates the critical level of your injuries is not fatal.
Infection is possible." Now, beginning to turn and walk, the
machine revealed the marking "Zaraki" on one of the metallic
covers. A possible indicator of a name, at least, of the
possible creator of this creature. "Stay here. You die. That
house you destroyed belongs to the most feared man in all of
West Zion. ... Samonosuke Chikaku. Threat level, to your health,
       is grave."
