The Dragons Den
By: Magnus Tyret Date: March 15, 2012, 1:20 am
---------------------------------------------------------
The Dragons Den is a dimension created by Magnus that serves as
home to all Draconian Ancients, Eldars, and the Dragon Spirits
that they possess. The Dragons den is governed by five different
realms, each looked down upon by it's own moon which is visible,
even in the daytime, and each has it's own unique conditions.
The first is the White Realm. The moon here is cool and white,
and radiates brightly. It's a snowcapped land, this realm
maintains sub-zero tempuratures at all times. Subject to
snowstorms and violent winds, this realm is not for one who
doesn't know how to survive.
The second realm is the Red Ream, A firey land that resembles an
active volcano. The smell of brimstone fills the air, and the
sound of boiling water is always present. There are various lava
pits, and boiling hot springs, and nothing about this land is
friendly. At times the air is filled with steam, at others it's
dry as a bone. Those with Fire nature, or a Fire Dragon will
find this land suitable. The moon here appears as it it's on
fire. It's blazing red and seems to command everything that
exists.
The third is the Blue Realm. This is a more peaceful land than
the first two. It's mostly ocean. The ground is simply solid
stone. There is no soil, no plant life, and no animals. Not on
the surface at least. There are various caves and caverns that
go unexplored here, and a high pitched screech can barely be
heard off in the distance. The moon in this realm has a blue
tint, and shines radiantly, sending a feeling of serenity over
the land
The realm most avoided is the Black Realm. It's the realm where
it's always night, and the moon is nearly as black as the sky
itself. The land is a half dead forest, where few things ever
leave. Everything from the animals to the trees seem to be ruled
by darkness and shadows, and even the land itself seems to have
a consciousness and malevolent intentions. Many secrets hide
within this realm, but only the brave, or possibly the insane,
would consider going to search for them.
The final realm is known as the Divine Realm. In this realm,
there is no night time. It is also the only realm containing a
Sun. The lands are plentiful fields full of trees, flowers, and
running rivers. This is the realm most looked forward to in the
Dragons Den, because anyone can find comfort in it. But it is
also the realm that shows itself least frequently.
The realms of this land expose themselves at random, one at a
time. The Dragons are able to freely traverse the realms as
they please, but their Draconian masters are subject to the
realm that is currently visible. Even Magnus is not able to
fully control, or even predict which realm will present itself,
or when they will switch. In the center of the land, is the
Draconian Manor; The giant house that provides a home for the
Draconian Ancients and Eldars. it is impervious to the changes
in the Realms, or the conditions in any of them, and provides
safety regardless of the outside environment.

On the other side of the portal, the two would arrive directly
in front of the Manor. The Realm that surrounded, that of the
blue Dragon. It was quiet. Snone grounds that extended out to an
endless ocean. The land occupied by nothing more than caves that
lead to who knows what? "Welcome home." Raijuta said to Soraya.
He loved his Tyretian family, but had a hard time seeing her as
anything other than his Draconian family. RElated in species,
not in name, or blood. But then, He was still in the process of
determining his identity as a Tyret. Both sides of his spirit
knew that he was a Draconian. He opened the door for her, and
lead her up the stairs to her room. It hadn't been touched since
her last time visiting, except for periodic dusting by the help.
"Why don't you get some rest?" He asked, knowing that exhaustion
must have plagued her. "We'll start your training in the
morning.."

When Raijuta left the woman's room, he made his way downstairs.
He went into the kitchen, and removed a frozen piece of fish
from the freezer. After taking a few bites, he sealed it up, and
returned it to it's resting place before making his way to he
living room and sitting on the couch. He had to admit,
inheriting Magnus' Dragon Spirit wasn't the worst thing that had
ever happened to him. Without it, getting home would have been
much more of a process. Eventually, he fell into a light sleep
on the couch, and for a couple hours, he rested peacefully. That
was, until Soraya came down the stairs, and walked out the door.
He had feared she wouldn't be able to sleep, but since she took
so long to come down, he assumed he had been wrong.
He waited a while before walking outside after her, and watching
silently from a far off tree. Her technique was unusual. Not
like that of any Draconian. And no traditional Tyretian
technique either. But then, it had been some time since he had
attended a family training session. Once the woman took a seat,
his voice would ring out to her as he approached. "You know, if
you were anyone else, The Dragons wouldn't have allowed you to
do that." He would get close enough to sit next to her before he
continued. "They've been watching in silence because you share
their scent. He put his fingers to his lips and whistled
loudly, and Shockwave burst out of the ocean, and flew over to
where the two sat, lowering his head so that Raijuta could pet
him.
Shockwave was a blue, serpentlike dragon with a yellow belly.
The scales on his wings looked like feathers, and made a
screeching sound when he traveled underwater. "That's an
interesting technique." Raijuta said. He looked at her extended
fangs and smiled. "But you're having a bit of trouble
controlling it, right? More difficult techniques always caused
Raijuta to go through similar partial transformations such as
that. He could see where the basis of her training would take
place after that example, and he had an idea where to start.

The aura radiating from the woman was unstable, but Raijuta
didn't bother himself over it. That's what she was there for.
And if there was anyone with the resources to help her with it,
it was Rai. But where could he start? Then, she gave him his
answer. She knew what she wanted to accomplish, and he knew he
could make it happen. He didn't know, however, how long it would
take, or how much effort. He could remove the energy from her
body, but he didn't know if it would be more useful if she
learned to control it. Not only that, but he would have to
channel it into another vessel. If it came down to it, he could
craft a weapon for her to contain the excess energy, but first,
he would see if there was another way. Having inherited Magnus'
abilities, he could open up her mind, but he wasn't very
proficient at it in his current form.
"We can give it a try." He said, waving Shockwave back off to
the ocean. He then closed his eyes and took a deep breath, his
blonde hair turning to red once more as Magnus took control of
their body for the moment. "I need you to close your eyes and
focus on your earliest memory." He told her. His hands hovered
on either side of her head, as he began to reach into her mind
for details lost. Images from as early as infancy, but he
couldn't guarantee that the information she seeked was within
her lost memories. He could only hope that they were, for that
would make this a much easier process...

Magnus wasn't able to delve into the woman's consciousness as he
expanded it, so he couldn't see what she was being shown. So he
simply continued the process, awaiting the women's preparation.
Once she awakened, the blonde hair returned, and deep, green
eyes stared into her own. "I'm right here. What is it?" he
asked, his hands falling fom the sides of her head to her
shoulders in an act of comfort. He didn't know what to expect,
but he had already come up with several possibilities, depending
on how the situation progressed. He was prepared to help in any
way necessary, but first he would need to know what the woman
saw...

Her story made sense. It wasn't uncommon for Ancient dragons to
take a human form and mix themselves in with society. His
mothers Father was a dragon, but his mothers mother was half
dragon and half human. He nodded his head as he spoke up. "It's
more than possible." He told her. Draconians were all Dragon
Hybrids, after all. When she leaned against him, his hand glided
from her shoulder, to the back of her neck, where he pushed her
hair over her shoulder. He leaned his head down near her ear.
"Alright." He said softly, as he began to insert melatonin into
her system through her skin. In a few moments, she would fall
asleep under the influence of the hormone. She needed to be
properly rested if the two were going to accomplish anything.
"How about you try to get some rest first though?" He began to
lead her back to the Manor, but instead of taking her back to
the room, he sat on the couch with her, running his fingers
through her hair as a promise to watch over her. He could keep
her safe from losing control as she rested. While she slept, he
would come up with a solid plan for what to do, as well as some
research on Fallen Angels, And when she awoke, they would go out
and get to work...

Raijuta could sense Soraya's inner demons, bucking against the
sleep hormone, even though it was one that her body produced
naturally. It was truly stubborn, however Raijuta knew his
therapies well. Keeping the energy contained with one of Magnus'
techniques, as he ordered a servant to bring every book on
Fallen Angels she could find from the library upstairs. He read
through the night, of the various types of Angels there were.
The types of energies they could possess. It was far too much
for him to be able to pinpoint for sure what her condition was,
but the information was useful enough for him to come up with
ways that he could help her. He sat erect the duration of the
night and morning, reading from his books while he stroked the
woman's scalp, her head resting peacefully in his lap. Only once
did he begin to nod off, finally taking the syrum given to him
by Roane, which recovered his energy and health to his fullest.
He had been saving it for a time that his life depended on it,
but decided that this was just as important a time as any. When
the woman awoke, they would get to work....

Raijuta's hand rushed to his chin, sucking air in through his
teeth to release the pain that coursed through his head. Once it
had passed, he listened to Soraya's plea, however, he only
looked at her when she took his book. "Don't worry. I got my
rest." It technically wasn't a lie. Even if he didn't actually
sleep, his body had been fully refreshed. "I found a few things.
There are records of a few Fallen Angel Hybrids, but none of
them were Draconian. There were a few with energies and symptoms
that resembled yours, but none matched perfectly." A sigh
escaped his lips as he picked up another book which had a
bookmark placed about halfway through it.
"I've come up with a few options for you." He continued, as he
flipped and looked for a certain page. "The hardest would be
trying to tame the energy within you unassisted. The process
would actually take months, but in the end, you would most
likely be in complete control." He stopped when he got to the
page he was looking for, and looked over it for a moment.
"Another option is for me to extract the energy from your body,
and channel it into a weapon, which I can train you to use."
His eyes trailed off for a moment. There was another option.
Possibly the most effective, but also probably the most
dangerous. He was unsure if he should present that option to
her, so for the moment, he held it in.

Soraya had not felt the impact of her head against his chin and
thought that she had missed him but she realized she hadn’t.
Sighing, she cursed her pain tolerance as well as her dream and
said an apology before he carries on with what he found. After
he finished saying what he had found she felt no reassurance,
only an odd loneliness at the fact. In short, she was a freak
which no one had heard about before. But her thought process and
self-pity were interrupted by the options he gave her. Shaking
her head she sighed, standing up with a sudden longing for a
cigarette.
“I do not trust it to be contained in a weapon,” she said
shivering at the thought of someone else wielding such a thing.
“The first option would be the best out of the two. But it would
take so long..."
She thought over the next few weeks and doubted if she could
contain the rage of the energy for what was to come.

Soraya made a valid point. Even if Rai created a weapon capable
of holding in the power contained within her, her life would be
absorbed in protecting that weapon. Someone getting their hands
on it could result in who knows what kind of chaos? When she
asked about the third option, he releases a sigh, and raised his
hands in front of him, removing the white, fingerless gloves
that he always wore. embedded in the palms of his hands were red
jewels that glowed brilliantly. "I grew up having inherited a
deadly power as well. Raizen energy is one of the most pure
forms of Draconian energy. None of my siblings, and even my
parents didn't have it. But it was impossible to control. It
destroyed indecriminantly, and I didn't know what to do." He
extended his hand toward a glass on the counter and a small bit
of the energy released from the jewel. When it made contact with
the glass, it eradicated it. There wasn't ash, sand, or anything
left of it. "The Dark Surgeon, Genesis created these jewels, and
implanted them in my hands to help me control the energy. It
still took quite a bit of training, but I gained control of it,
for the most part." He returned the gloves to his hands and
looked at her. "I could contact the surgeon, and maybe he could
come up with something to help you like he did for me. But he
isn't exactly a kind man. I can't promise what will happen..."
