Volt felt slightly bad seeing that he had scared her. He would
of felt even worse if he had attacked. Slowly putting down his
weapon he chuckled a bit. Rubbing the back of his head and
blushing he smiled at her. "I'm so sorry Connie. I didn't mean
to scare you. It could of been worse though I suppose." Watching
her climb back into bed his eyes shot open a little. She had
changed in one night. Her wounds were also gone as well. It was
simply amazing at how fast she could heal herself. He's never
seen any one heal as fast as she could. Volt moved closer to her
to get a better look. The closer he got the more unbelievable it
was. "That's amazing Connie all your wounds. They have healed
over, and you look different to. You aged a bit as well. That is
truely amazing!" Tilting his head to the side he looked at her a
bit confused now. She didn't know what laughing was. It seemed
so strange but more he thought about it the more it made sence
to him. She had lived a life of being abused time and time
again. How could any one ever luagh during something like that?
"Well Connie laughing is something some one does when they see
or hear something they find funny, or when they feel joy."
It was one thing after another with Connie. she confused him
more and more. He knew he hadn't been asleep for a year. That
would of be impossible for him to do. He was about to come out
and ask her what she meant but she started to explain this to
him. Volt nodded to her now understanding what she meant. "Oh,
well then Connie I'm sorry for making you wait for so long." He
teased as he followed her. Before leaving he grabbed his jacket
and threw it on and also his sword. Letting his sword rest over
his shoulder as he followed her outside with a smile on his
face. It was such a nice day out side. The wheather was warm and
peaceful. A light breeze blowing by them here and there. This
brought a bright smile to Volt's face as he looked up into the
clear sky. Watching the clouds move along very slowly as the sun
lit up the world around them. Volt loved feeling the warmth of
the suns ray wash down over him. Hearing her whistle his
attention fell down upon her as she whistled. Birds taking to
the skies and animals coming out hiding. It was such a nice
sight to see. "Well this is truely wonderful Connie."
Those weren't the only things to happen though. He watched her
closer as she started to under go a change. Like many times
before Volt wasn't the only one giving her his attention. His
blade was always paying attention to both Volt and Connie when
ever one of them spoke or did something. Volt walked slowly
around Connie watching her under go this change. He watched
closely so interested in what was happening. It was if nothing
could ever break his sharpe attention for her. "Connie you are
truely something...no not something, someone wonderful you know
that. It's simply amazing seeing what you can do, I think I'm
gonna really like being your friend." He said after coming to a
stop and standing right next to her. "I think we'll be able to
learn a lot from each other that's for sure." As she started to
speak to him he smiled and gave her his full attention as
always. Being able to speak to animals now could prove to be
very useful. Who knows even the smallest creature might know a
way into the Over World he thought. As she brought up the flower
and smiled and patted his coat pocket showing her that the
flower was safe and sound from within his pocket.
Hearing her speak again only made him chuckle. People wanting to
come after her was no problem to him at all. That was something
he could easily deal with. Besides he wasn't gonna sit back and
let them do that. He was always going to be there for her when
she needed him to back her up. Gently resting his hand on her
shoulder he spoke. "I am a wanted man Connie. So there will be
people trying to take me down as well. We can help each other
out by watching each others back you know? You watch my back and
I'll watch yours. Together I'm sure we'll do fine. I've been
dealing with hardships all my life so I know how it is trust me.
The hardships will only make us smarter and stronger." He patted
her shoulder and smiled a little. "Well then Connie I suppose we
should get going. Right now we'll be headed for a small town
that's rich with information I could use, My war buddy might be
there as well." He tured and started to walk off slowly.
The whole time all this was going on there were two people
watching them from a far distance. One feeling like a female
child and the other an adult male. Both had strong feelings of
massive amounts of strange aura. An aura Volt would know very
well. It would feel as if they were or just came from the Over
World. Sadly that weren't worth getting in a huge fight with to
knock some information out of them. Volt gave off the same aura
of the Over World. So they also could of been some random
people. They've been following him for years now he knew this
for sure. He wanted to hunt down his old friend to see if she
was also being followed. She herself could also tap into the
Over World. How they were able to do this was unknown for them
both and they both hated it. If she was being followed as well
then these people would spike Volts interest enough to stop them
and try working out some information on who they were and why
they were following them. As Volt started to walk off they both
disappeared into thin air. Leaving no trace of them being there
or where they were going. They were good, very good.

Learning to cherish the life she had, she was starting
to feel a sensation of warmth in her chest. Unknowing what that
was, she simply listened to him as she walked beside him.
Thinking to herself, she placed her hands in her pockets and
looked up at the sky. "I'm nothing of the sort.. All I am is
Connie.. Simply Connie.. I'm nothing beyond myself and I can not
be wonderful." She said with a light shrug, looking to him. "I'm
just me. Now you on the other hand, you're someone who should be
very very proud of your heart. You're an amazing person, Volt.
Never forget that.." Connie let a small smile curve her lips
before she was gazing back at the sky. When was the last time
she was able to do such a thing? For a moment, she was content.
Then something erupted in her heart and she snapped her eyes to
the right. Though time had changed for her, time had not changed
for the townspeople hunting for her. Sighing a bit, she took a
moment to think. Paranoia certainly was going to be an issue.
She had to do something to change her appearance further else
she'd be noticed from a mile away. Thinking carefully on the
things that defined her most, looked around for a moment before
color seeped into blond locks, turning into a moss green.
Thinking extremely hard, orbs turned to a golden color and her
flesh paled lightly as her freckled showed more across her nose
and cheeks. Letting out a gentle sigh, she ran her fingers
through her newly colored locks, figuring her aging would've
made up for the rest. Considering she had grown in may places
and thinned in others. "Okay. That should keep people from
recognizing me." Looking to Volt with smoldering orbs, she gave
a small smile, still not use to such things. "If you'd like, I
could always get a few horses.. That is, if you don't mind
riding without a saddle. I'd use my abilities to make one, but
I'm afraid that these horses would be wild and unuse to such
things, so it would cause them troubles."

As the two walked there together side by side Volt smiled and
listened to Connie well. She thought she was normal, nothing to
speical or wonderful at all. The fact that she had made it this
far, without starting a rampage, or loosing the will to go on
meant she truely was some one wonderful. Volt wasn't gonna fight
with her, it was hard to change mind when he had it set on
something. Thinking of her in that way wasn't gonna change. Now
hearing her talk of him in such a good way made him chuckle.
"Proud of my own heart?" Saying out loud asking himself. He
closed his eyes and shook his head with a small smile on his
face. "Right now I shouldn't be to proud of my heart, nor should
I think I'm an amazing person. I have more cons then I do pros
Connie. I've torn families apart when I fought in the great war.
I've killed a large amount of fathers and sons. Even mothers and
daughters who joined up with they're own army. I as given orders
too fight for my side no matter what. The enemy may have been
trying to kill me as well but they all had families waiting for
them too return. Besides I'm no human. I am a Ex-Super Soldier
with the being known as the Elder One deep inside me. If you ask
me, there is nothing human about a Super Soldier. I am
simply...a tool, a weapon I guess you could say." He chuckled a
bit thinking he sounded so stupid. Being a weapon for fighting
was all he knew how to be. He hated fighting so much but in
order too find peace he had too fight. "I'm so glad your not the
female we're looking for at the moment. She punched for saying
this. Hell she'd punch me for talking. She really hated to talk
about anything." He started to laughing thinking about her once
again. Volt and this female were teammates but the more he
talked about her the more it seemed like this female really
hated Volt.
Looking over at Connie he smiled as she started to change.
Anything she did with her abilities he enjoyed seeing. He had so
many quesions but he'd never ask them. At least not yet, they
just met and now would be the wrong time. He wondered if she
could of done these things her whole life. How she gained such
abilities. Was she truely human or did she only take the shape
of a human. No matter what the answers were he thought she was a
wonderful being human or not. He smiled back and nodded to her
about the horses. "If you liked too, I don;t mind at all. It
sure would get us there faster. The town would still be about a
day or maybe two off, that is if we made haste on the horses and
ran into no trouble on the way." Meanwhile further off down the
long road and into the town she sat in a dim lit room at her
desk. She threw a small pebble up and then back down into her
hand. Sighing she closed her hand around the pebble. Laying on
the desk was her shot gun and katana. The blade it self started
to whisper to her. This was also the whisper of a female but
sounded slightly different then Volt's blade. "He just had to
come and find me. He just won't give up." She sighed boredly and
leaned back in her chair. She closed her eyes and within minutes
she was alseep.

Listening to him, she huffed her cheeks out in refusal
to believe such words. Her arms snatched his right one and she
stared up at him with that smoldering gaze filled with a minor
anger and more so determination. "You sir, need to take a lesson
from the nomads and air monks. They are the truest forms of
human life. The past is nothing of the present nor is it of the
future. You should not let your actions dictate your entire
life. Else you will fall victim the the cycle it causes. You are
a very kind and lovely person, Volt Harbinger. If you dare deny
this after saving the likesof a creature in which cannot even be
identified and could have very well killed you... Then you are
truly a fool! A fool cannot be taught.. A moron can be taught a
new way for they do not know the actions they are doing. Tell
me, Volt.. Are you a fool? Do you truly believe that there is no
taking your future for your own? If that is so, then I will
surely promise to smack you around later when we get to this
town. Else I'll simply tell that female companion of your's what
you said and let her beat you up!"
Saying this sternly, she released him and turned to face the
path. Letting out a loud whistle once more, she watched as a
white Arabian horse and an odd horse that looked as though it
had the markings of a leopard and tiger. This was the Heavenly
Tiger Horse. Rather, that was the name of it's breed. Looking to
him with that stern gaze, she huffed her cheeks once more and
gently coaxed the horses to them. "The Arabian's fast and
strong.. He'll carry you very well. I prefer my usual friend..
He's a Heavenly Tiger Horse. A genetic breed made by mating
multiple different types of horses. The Arabian's more suited
for your weight and structure." Offering a small smile, she
kicked herself onto the horse and gently ran her fingers down
it's arched neck. "You're a very loving person, Volt.. If you
weren't.. The Arabian wouldn't even come near you.. He's wild..
If he didn't trust your heart, then he wouldn't come near you at
all.. Even at my command.. Remember this, Volt, horses are well
known for connecting with humans and creatures alike.. You are
still very much human.. For you have your vast humanity still."
Smiling more when she said this, but no more than she already
had, she clicked her tongue and trotted the beautiful creature
down the path slowly as she waited for Volt.

Volt stopped dead is his tracks once she wrapped her arms around
his right arm. Chuckling he looked down at her. To him she was
just to adorable. A truely delightful person to be around. As
she spoke he listened and he listened good. Everything she said
made his heart feel warm and at ease. Still he hated the things
he did in the past. He couldn't truely ever let those things he
did go. Not till he was at least forgiven by the families he
stole a loved ones from, that was something that just wasn't
gonna happen. A bit of Volt was locked up in the past and was
unable to move on. volt smiled down at Connie as she spoke to
him. He didn't speak until she finished with her speech about
him. "Connie...your adorable! I'm so sorry I know I'm not being
to serious right now. It's just I have to put that out there
again. Always...and I mean always stay adorable. It fits you
very well. Now about myself, you saying what you thought about
me made me feel warm inside. I'm glad I've met some one else in
this world who thinks about me the same way Jasmine did and
whether you like it or not, your a wonderful person Connie. Just
try and change my mind." He smirked a bit. Volt never got used
to people thinking so highly of him. Sure back when he was a
soldier his leaders thought highly of him because he was a
killing machine. Connie thought differently about him. It made
him feel at peace, almost pulling that bit of himself out of the
past right then and there. Sadly it remained there, trapped.
Watching her step forward and bit and call upon two horses was a
delightful sight to see. He smiled watching them draw closer and
closer to them. Horses were smart, kind, and peaceful animals
and even a better friend to man then some dogs. Volt nodded
taking in what Connie was telling him about the horses. He
walked up to the Arabian horse and smiled. Reaching up he ran
his hand up and down it's neck. "Well hello there." Volt said
softly to it before climbing onto it's back and getting himself
comfortable. "A horse is such a graceful and smart animal. As
smart or even smarter then humans." He chuckled and looked over
at Connie as she sat upon her horse. "When I was younger I found
myself reading a lot. Never about one subject though, all kinds
of things. I'm afraid I don't get to read as much anymore.
Hopefully some time in the future I can start again." Finshing
his words and looked up into the sky and watched the clouds as
they trotted down the path. Then he felt it again. He was being
watched. His eyes narrowed to the right and off into the
distance. Like all the other times before this one the two
unknown strangers were gone with a trace. His blade whispered to
him a little and all he did was nodded. So far these two people
have proven them sevles to be harmless. Never getting to close
and never starting any fights. The fact that they had the same
aura as the Over World though worried him. He never wanted to
get himself into a fight with a vessel for an Elder One like
himself.

Adorable he says. She thought, puffing her cheeks out as
they were shadowed with red. Gently holding the horse's mane,
she just sighed a bit. "Adorable? I don't know what ever it is
you're on, but what ever it is.. Share with the class would ya?"
She said with a light chuckle. Which caught her off guard.
Blinking a few times, she raised her fingertips to her lips and
looked at him. "What the hell was that noise I just made?!" She
muttered, a bit alarmed. It didn't feel bad, nor did it seem to
be bad. In fact, it felt nice, kind of. Blushing worse, she
wasn't oblivious to being followed. Keeping quiet, she galloped
the horse closer to Volt's and reached out, gently taking his
hand. Winding her fingers with his', she kept a blank face and
said nothing for the time being. Slowly, she took a bit of a
lead on the arabian horse and kept his hand in her's. "You
remembered something about Jasmine just now.. By comparing her
to me, that means you remember how she acted.."
Smiling just a bit, she narrowed her eyes before she slowed back
down just a bit and gave his hand a light tug. "When I count to
three... I'm going to pull you onto the horse behind me.. I want
you to hold on tight. I want to show you, just how brilliant
horses can be.. Especially these two." Smiling still, she
counted to three beneath her breath and pulled him onto the
horse behind her. The Arabian horse reacted to the lifted weight
by neighing and bowing his head. Smiling even more, she leaned
forward and loosened her grip on the horse's mane. "Okay.. Now
hold on tight, because I'm not going to be controlling her.
She'll be taking us herself. She's well aware of where you want
to go, but there's no telling what paths she'll take." Taking in
a deep breath, she placed her hand on the horse's neck. The
Arabian kept close as he neighed in a proud way, as though he
was laughing.
Another chuckle parted her lips and freckles stood out of the
blush as she smiled a bit at how strange it felt to do such a
thing. "He's laughing.." She muttered, looking over her shoulder
at Volt for a moment before she reached back and placed her arm
against his back to hold him in place against her. Her other
hand tightly gripped the mane of the horse as she smiled still
and went along with the movements and gestures of the horse as
she started to trot then broke out into a gallop. Leaping and
running to her heart's content. Connie couldn't help but smile a
bit more, but never enough. Her arm tightly holding him in place
as she went along with the movements the strange horse made. The
Arabian horse kept up with them and did his own little leaps and
trots as he seemed happier. "Volt, when you're able to feel a
horse's heart and you're able to dance with one, you'll realize
just how much they are like humans, and how much it takes to
gain their trust to ride them without being broken."

Volt tilted his head and looked over at Coonie confused. What
was he on? It took him a minute to figure what she meant and
that she was joking. Laughing a little he shook his head a bit.
"It's true you are. I wouldn't lie about something like that.
I'm being totally honest." Volt was bit more confused still. She
didn't know she had just made a joke. Neither did she know what
a chuckle was nor where it came from. This made him burst out
laughing leaning over the horse a little. "Connie, you just made
a joke." Looking over at her he smiled brightly. "A chuckle,
giggle, or laugh is what happens when you find something funny
like a joke. Laughing is something very important, it's truely
something that can help pull people out of sorrow." His blade
began to whisper to him. Like before Connie could hear her own
name and Volts name in the whispering but she couldn't
understand anything else. Volt nodded a bit. "Yes, Jasmine just
said we'll have a lot to learn from each other." His eyes widen
and he quickly looked over at Connie. "Oh by the way...I forgot
to tell you this. I named my blade Jasmine even know Jasmine
isn't the being from within the blade. She won't tell me her
true name." He smirked a bit as the blade pulsed out a little.
It was enough to force Volts head forward just a bit. It was as
if the blade was smacking him up side the head.
Tilting his head back up his eyes focused down on his hand. He
felt and saw her holding his hand. Locking her fingers in
between his own made him blush ever so slightly. Listening to
her speak made him think. He did just remember something about
Jasmine. Taking a quick look back at his sword he wondered, was
it his blade all this time helping him hold onto the memory of
her and as Connie came along she as well helped him along. He
shrugged and smiled a bit. That sure could of been an anwser.
Then when he thought about it, how the hell and when the hell
did he get this sword? He remember having for a long time but
when and where to he find it? He rolled his eyes and sighed a
bit thinking that is yet another answer he'd have to wait for.
As she told him what to do he simply nodded with a smile.
"Alright!" His voice was cheerful as he waited. When she pulled
him onto her horse he gently put his hands on her sides.
Blushing a little and looked around feeling as if this was a
little strange, and feeling a little rude. "Uhhh Connie I hope
this is what you meant by holding on. Since I see nothing else
to hold onto. Sorry!" Chuckling nervously he looked down the
path. Looking over at the Arabian horse and chuckled a little.
So now the horse was laughing at him in his own little way. Volt
shrugged and looked down the path waiting for what the horse was
about to do.
Once her horse started to gallop he held onto Connie a bit
tighter not wanting to really fall on his face. Volt had been on
horses before but that was long ago when he was in his teen
years. The horse leaped and ran out gracefully making Volt
chuckle as he watched the world around them fly by. This was
nice, this was something he was truely enjoying. Even his blade
Jasmine was enjoying this letting out a very quiet purr like a
cat. His blade was well aware of everything that was going on
around her. It also effected her like it would a normal person.
Being connect to Volt she could feel his joy or pain. When Volt
truely needed it the sword could defend him in strange and
amazing ways. Volt looking over at the Arabian horse as it was
doing the same thing. A smile never Volt's face. Volt nodded to
Connie a little not really knowing what to say at this moment.
He was just taking all of this in and living and enjoying this
time.

Connie paid as much attention to Volt's words as she did
to the horse's movements. The way the horse wound through the
path and ran freely as though no one was on her made her smile.
She was glad. Once she was sure Volt was holding onto her
tightly, she removed her arm from him and gripped the horse's
mane tightly but not too tightly. "I do believe that stunning
blade of your's will tell her name eventually. Until that time,
I think she's content with being called Jasmine." She thought to
herself as she looked ahead, chuckling once more. "I didn't
realize what that was. Now that I know, I wont refrain from
doing it. Wait I made a joke? Isn't that a string of words
that's meant to be.. Erm, funny I think?" She asked, quirking
her brow as she thought to herself on what she had said before.
"Well I guess I did make a joke!" She said cheerfully. The horse
soon broke from the path and went down another, quickening her
pace and seeming to prepare for something.
The arabian wasted no time in keeping up nor seeming to try to
race the other. When Connie read into what the horse was doing,
she threw her arm back around Volt behind her and she kept her
tight grip as she leaned forward a bit more. "Don't you dare let
go of me!" She warned, watching the path suddenly come to an end
with a slightly larger gap than she had hoped. The first to leap
the gap in the path was the Arabian, neighing and standing
proudly at the other side as the Tiger horse picked up in her
speed and was as confident as ever in her legs. Gripping the
cloth that covered his back, she was prepared to keep a good
hold on him even if he fell. A few seconds later and the sky
seemed so close as the horse leaped. It was at this moment, that
everything seemed to pass by so slowly as she gazed towards the
sky for a moment before the horse's hooves touched ground on the
other side and continued to trot them along.
A sound came from her lungs as she loosened her grip on him and
it seemed to startle her. It was a laugh, and with this laugh
came a gentle light that seemed to caress everything around
them, renewing it to it's original beauty. Restoring it to how
it was before paths and humanity had conformed it. Looking
around in confusion, the horse slowed down but did not stop,
simply trotting as Connie sat up a little and looked around,
baffled. "Did.. I do that?" She questioned in nothing above a
whisper as she looked around. Strangely enough, her worries had
transferred to the horses and she inadvertently gave them the
ability to speak in the human tongue. First the tiger horse
spoke in what seemed to be a motherly type tone. "Why yes you
did, Connie." That caught her off guard and she blinked a few
times in surprise. "Whoah.. I didn't even mean to give you the
ability to speak.." She muttered, earning a light neighing laugh
from the horse.
Then the Arabian spoke in a tall and proud voice that seemed to
suit him. "Don't be so insecure, Connie. I know you're well
aware that the gentleman wont hurt you nor will we. Yet you're
so careful of what you do as though you'll be struck down for a
mistake." This pulled a dark blush to Connie's face as she
gained a pout and seemed to whine a bit. "Hey! It's no fair to
speak my thoughts allowed y'know!" She paused, looking down for
a moment as they trotted along. "Old habits die hard, y'know..
It's not easy.." She muttered, though the two horses just seemed
to laugh and keep their voices to themselves. Sighing in defeat,
she gained a nervous and wary smile as she raised her head and
just looked ahead. "This is why I rarely gave this ability to
animals.. They could read me far too well.." She said with a
sigh once more. "I just can't win against them."

Volt kept his balence on the horse and held onto Connie tight
not wanting to fall on his ass in front of her and not in front
of these amazing animals as well. As they rode on the horse
together Volt nodded hearing Connie speak to him. Volt really
didn't mind not knowing the name of his blade. Other's like him
had weapons like his and they knew the names of they'res.
Knowing the name of the being from within the weapon would give
one a lot of power. For some the power drove them to insanity,
in one case it even drove a man to his own death. Besides Volt
thought the more power he'd have the more attention he'd bring
to himself. He was a wanted man he didn't want to much
attention. "I'd have to agree with you Connie, I think she is."
Volt voice was very cheerful and happy at this moment of time
and he couldn't help but to laugh a little hearing Connie speak
again. She was so funny some times, in a good way of course.
"That's good Connie you better not refrain yourself from doing
it. Like I said laughing is a wonderful thing." After saying
that he felt Connie arm being wrapped around him. Then hearing
her words and nodded a little bit. What was going on he thought
to himself until he noticed what was coming up. His eyes widen
and he held Connie a bit tighter.
As they took to the air on the horses back Volt looked all
around with a bit of a chuckle. At first his gut sank seeing the
gap but it was different now. This was wonderful time seemed to
move so slowly for them. Finally it came to an end as the horse
touch the ground and started running off again. Volt loosened
his grip one Connie a little as they rode on again. "Now that is
something I will never forget!" What happened next took Volt by
surprise. It wasn't her laugh that took him by surprise nor what
happened when she did laugh. Something good happened like when
she smiled around him for the first time. He wasn't used to it
but hearing the horse speak took him by surprise a lot more.
"Whoa she talked!" He said out cheerfully with a small laugh. "I
know you had the ability to do that Connie but it's unreal
hearing it really happen." Volt sat there as Connie and the
Arabian traded words with one another. Volt nodded and smiled a
bit. "I'd have to agree with the Arabian there Connie." He
teased at her a little bit. Looking back up into the sky he
chuckled a bit more as Connie finished. "Adorable....well
anyways Connie, at the rate we're moving if were lucky we'll
make it there late tonight. From there what is it I wanted to
do?" He asked himself out loud. He looked off to the side
thinking a bit. "I didn't really think this through I suppose."
Volt shrugged a bit and leaned forward over Connie shoulder.
"Want me to stay here or move back to the Arabian Horse?"

Connie seemed to puff her cheeks out and pout as she
scrunched her nose and looked back at him. "Hey I am not
adorable!" She protested, only earning another laugh from the
horses. Sighing in defeat once more, she looked down to the
horses and chuckled a little bit. Running her hand down the
horses neck, she listened to Volt and smiled just a bit. "Well,
it'd be more logical to stay on one horse till she's tired then
switch to the other that way we don't waste any time." Pausing,
she looked between the two horses and blinked a few times.
"Calling you guys Tiger and Arabian seems a bit... Insulting.
What are your names?" The Arabian bucked his hooves a bit before
looking at the two on the back of his friend. "My name is Zan."
Connie nodded and smiled a bit before looking towards the tiger
horse who raised her head and neighed lightly."And my name is
Firefly." Nodding, she smiled a bit more and tilted her head a
bit. "There we are. Now we know!"
Gently patting Firefly's neck, she started to trot and Connie
just kept herself in a poised position. "I've never laughed in
all my years, so I never knew I had that capability. Should I
put restrictions on when I laugh? Because how would people react
if I did it in a crowded area?" She was basically talking to
herself as they went down the winding path and Zan just seemed
to follow up behind them, keeping a watch on things and making
sure that everything was okay. Reaching up, Connie ran her
fingers through her hair and sighed a little bit. "Hmm.. Well,
what is it you planned on doing when you got there, Volt?" She
asked, looking back to him out of the corner of her
eyes.
